Jenny’s summer vacation included a first-time trip by airplane to New York City and found the whole experience to be better, bigger and more wonderful than her wildest imagination.
HUGE is about a young girl’s first visit to New York City and a scenic tour through all its famous landmarks.
Jenny was delighted by the whole trip from the George Washington Bridge to the Statue of Liberty and everything in between. She loved the museums, Yankee Stadium, the subway and buses, the ferry, Broadway, Times Square, the Empire State Building and especially the Statue of Liberty.
Teachers will love reading this book to their students as they discover all those landmarks while learning the many synonyms for the word big.
When Jenny returned to school after her wonderful summer adventure, she was first in line for Show and Tell and described in detail how New York City is bigger than big, larger than large. It is HUGE!
