Maura and Jane are the main characters in this tale of romance and murder. It will bring you to tears then to laughter whilst dealing also with murder, mayhem, sex and angst. Subsidiary characters, among them Maura's mother Constance and father Terrence, flesh out the whole story. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and was disappointed that the author hasn't written anything else. Please do Ms. Grogan - I look forward in anticipation!

I'm not familiar with the TV series Rizzoli &Isles, so I can't judge the characters by that.
The start is a bit rocky but the book finds its pace quickly. The mystery is okay, the characters are consistent and comprehensible.
