With another killer loose in Cornwall, Mack soon finds herself in danger. Will she be able to keep her head above water for long enough to solve this case?
I’ve read all the books in this series. Let me preface by saying I enjoyed them for what they are. Not super deep mysteries and enjoyed listening on my hour commute each day. However, every book has the same formula. Very similar storylines every book just different details. Very unrealistic circumstances, which in itself doesn’t bother me I can appreciate that in books sometimes but it’s just the same thing over and over again.
Would still recommend if you’re looking for light reading but don’t expect anything too intricate.
When Mack Owens receives an urgent phone call from a friend to help in the search for a missing woman, she finds herself propelled into a case that may change her life. If she lets it.
Well written, with plenty of snark, humor, and pathos.
It seems nearly every author has to have gay characters in their stories. Are editors requiring this? Sorry, but it turns me off from reading any more books by the author.
Jasmine has several series currently and I love each one of them. Her characters are well developed and I love the way she includes people of all ages. She shows age has no bounds.
Thank you for another captivating Cozy Mystery. I like that you wrote about a gay couple. Mack is always amazing in solving these mysteries. Robert Ericksen
