Ten years ago, I told my father to stay out of my life. I thought it would keep me safe, but now he’s the reason my life could be taken.

For too long, I’ve barely been existing, coasting through life and waiting for the inevitable end. Perhaps that is why, when I return home from work and find Romeo Bianchi waiting for me in the shadows, I accept my fate, wholeheartedly.

I expect him to take my life without a thought, but he takes me captive. To him, I’m nothing but a pawn in his dangerous game of retribution. But weeks pass and the moments we share weave a tangled web of connection between us, burrowing deeper into my heart with every touch, taste, and look.

When faced with a choice that could save his life, I ask myself one simple question:

Who protects the man that has spent his entire life protecting everyone else?

I’ve lost count the number of times I’ve read an enemies to lovers mafia romance (that’s because it’s a favourite trope of mine) haha, but there was just something about this one that simply bumped it up to the top of my favourites list.
Aurora and her lack of fear of death spoke to me on a level I didn’t expect. I admired her tenacity and how she stood her ground when it came to Romeo. Romeo runs the family with an iron fist, but Aurora managed to melt the ice around his heart instantly. I don’t think anything could have prepared me for Romeo Bianchi. He was the epitome of a mafia Don and Tate did an incredible job creating this character.
God their chemistry made my kindle sizzle! The jealousy they both felt at the gala made me giddy and seeing them stake their claim on one another had me giggling.
“Cristo, our c*m is my new favourite flavour” – when I read this my jaw hit the floor!!!! Hands down a favourite quote.
Chapter 30 made me squeal and kick my feet.
The smut made me hot under the collar.
Their love made my heart happy and the fact that they got their HEA was just everything!
I couldn’t put this one down.

He trusted the first piece of (fake) evidence that was provided to him (and didn't even bother to verify it) and abandoned her
Literally fed her to the wolves and didn't even grovel
Ya hard pass

The only satisfying thing about this plot was when she crushed him with her words while pointing a gun at him

Honestly i would have given it a 5 heck 100 stars if instead of accepting him back (without him even grovelling, but lets be honest, no amount of grovelling would have made it right because what he did, and the words he said while she was trying to protect him, yup there's no coming back from that) she would have left him and started her life afresh
But she resisted for like 2 3 chaps and then proceeded to have a happily ever after with him as if he didn't abandon her without a second thought
Makes me wonder how long it will take him to believe another piece of fake evidence and leave her to die again

I wanted to watch him burn from guilt, die if he had to (because honestly i wouldn't have cared at that point)
Instead he kept deflecting on daniele for going against his orders
Excuse me sir, but if he hadn't done it, you'll still have your head shoved up you know where and believed that she betrayed you while she would have died trying to save you
So show some gratitude mr dck face

I still don't know how the author managed to make her forgive him,
She should have shot him point blank and spit on him before moving on to start her new life

A little ridiculous, sorry
He is a piece of shit, an absolute clown
she is ridiculous
Torture is not sexy or romantic
No grovel at all is not romantic,
it’s just ridiculous getting hot about a man who gave you to the bad people to torture you, just ridiculous
Never again
No redemption possible

Book 1 of Sinful New York series

Bianchi is a mafia romance, on the slow-paced side, filled with intrigue and revenge. It’s mostly feuds between rivals. Romeo Bianchi, after returning to the family estate to put things in order since the enemy is trying to end his family, decides to kidnap the said enemy’s daughter. Little did he know Aurora’s not at all what he expected. Aurora has no choice but to get back into the mafia’s clutch that she tried to escape, all the while discovering truths that turn her world even more upside down. Rome and Aurora’s relationship was steamy and, well, let’s say they love the shower very much. And he likes their… mixed essence quite a lot as well.

Thanks to Addison for the arc, I’ll definitely read Massimo’s story when it’ll be available 🖤

Bianchi is the first book by Addison Tate.

When I read the blurb for this book I new it was a book for me, Romeo and Aurora story was a good read the connection these two when there shouldn't have had was from there first meeting.

Romeo is head of the mafia family and poor Aurora is the daughter of the man that Romeo believes to have put an attack on his family.

I enjoy the story and the balance between story and steamy scene were perfect.

I looking forward to Massimo's book and hoping the Rat is dealt with

Sicilian Don Romeo Bianchi …. She , Aurora Costa is the daughter of the enemy …. Her father made some enemies and she was caught in the crossfire … she is supposed to hate him , he did take her after all . BUT every kiss , every touch EVERY SINGLE ACTION makes her feel something she shouldn’t . Stockholm maybe 🤔 they do come full circle ⭕️ but not before they are torn from each other in one of the most heartbreaking of ways !!!! I went thru the emotions during this . I 👏🏾 need 👏🏾 MORE !!! Addison did an amazing job with this one ….

Over all 2 starts for me. I was thinking about one additional star for Romeo's reaction to Aurora being tortured and hurt after he literally told his enemies to do that to her. However, Aurora forgave him so quickly, he didn't do any groveling (in my books)! After the way he threw her to the wolves that led to her being tortured and hurt, he needed to grovel big time. I knew that the book wasn't going to give me what I wanted when we were too far into it for Romeo to properly grovel. For that reason, it jumped back to a 2 star. When the MMC throws the FMC away like that, he needs to make it up to her in more ways than just saying he's sorry. I know, I know...I'm fixated on one point. But that was the make or break point for me personally.

The spice was good, and over all chemistry between them were good.

So snow-sleding is fun! 😏 Haha. This is my kinda book, I love an enemies to lovers, mafia story.
I felt his apology so deep, it was what we needed as well as Aurora, even if she didn’t accept it at first and I’m glad she didn’t. He owes a lot of grovelling!

Super mad at him for how much he pushed her away considering how he truly loves her but I guess that goes with the territory of of a bachelor mafia don 🫠

He was the alpha I wanted to read from the start and jumped in so excited for everything to unfold between these two and hope we get glimmers of their future in the books to come too! 😍

I am obsessed with this book! This was my first read from Addison Tate (who also writes under KA James within the Contemporary Romance genre) It's been a while since I've read a enemies to lovers Mafia book and this did not disappoint. The day I read the blurb, I knew I was going to enjoy this.

Romeo is a powerful Mafia Don, he's possessive, he's an alphahole but once those walls are penetrated you see a whole different side. Rome is the whole Mafia package, and I absolutely loved him. from his sweet pet names to his kinks - phew, this man!

Poor Aurora hasn't had it easy in life, and having a mafia Don capture her as a pawn in a war just adds to how unfortunate she is. She's no one. She hasn't seen or spoken to her father in years. Why does this man think that by taking her, it will flush out his enemies?

Addison has packed this book with everything mafia lovers want. It's well balanced with plot and tension, and it's not overpowered by spice. The side characters are included with great detail, which has me excited for what is to come in this series.

I felt completely captivated by the world Addison created and rode the emotional rollercoaster that was Romeo and Aurora finding their happiness.

This has started with a whole lot of intrigue! I love a good Mafia romance and this hooks you straight away. My curiosity was piqued the minute I met the FMC. She is quite interesting in the way she deals with her situation. I won't go into detail so not to ruin the story but she's certainly different. What I will say is that she is a very strong and resilient character.
Romeo is everything you'd ever think a Mafia Don would be. Strong, ruthless and takes no prisoners. Well, until Aurora that is. I quite enjoyed the story. I think the way Aurora acted in the beginning really threw Romeo and he was intrigued from the get go.
Really good world building. It wasn't overdone and gave a good insight on who is who and where they fit in this series.
I liked the fact that there was plenty of action and it was fast-paced. Romeo really is ruthless and you get to witness his wrath plenty of times. Without going into detail, there was mention of her past that made me curious and I wanted to know more about that, but it was mentioned briefly and never really touched on again.
The author does so well in capturing your interest, I really struggled to put this book down! I also really liked the side characters and getting to know them throughout this story has been enjoyable.
I really felt for Aurora and what she ended up going through but she stayed strong and despite her misgivings I really think she'll come into her own standing beside Romeo. They'll balance each other out perfectly.
This was a really well written Dark Mafia romance and whilst Romeo and Aurora's story did finish up at the end of this book, it does appear the overarching storyline will continue into the next book and I will be waiting with bated breath for that to come out!
Add this to your TBR list as your next Mafia read, you won't be disappointed!

Sicilian Don and the daughter of the enemy.

Someone is targeting Romeo Bianchi’s US business, the only problem, no one can find who’s behind it. Aurora Costa, the daughter of their rival gets stuck in the middle of their feud.

Planning to kill her, Romeo changes his mind after feeling and instant pull and connection to Aurora. Instead he decides kidnapping Aurora can also be beneficial. Planning to lure her father out, Romeo uses her as bait. While in public they pretend to be together and somewhere along the way the pretend feelings turn real.
This is a dark romance full of twists and lies. Somewhere in the Bianchi family there is a snitch who frames Aurora and fabricates evidence to frame her.

Aurora is strong and instantly hooks you in. She’s had a rough life and believes that she’s left the mafia world behind. Enter Romeo and he has other plans! With betrayal and action, Bianchi will have you on the edge of your seat right until the end! Romeo is hot, possessive, filthy and gives cutesy nicknames in Italian!

Romeo Romeo where for art thou Rome! This book, I devoured as quick as adulting would allow, and those last few chapters left me holding my breath, crying, and feeling all the feels. Now, it's no secret I do love dark, unhinged, mafia romance, and this meets the brief. But, do ensure, if this is not your vibe, please read the trigger warnings that Addison provides.

Aurora is our FMC, who has a very simple life, having left the mafia world behind. There is still the grief of losing her mum some years prior, so she flys "under the radar" not wanting to draw any attention to herself.

Enter Romeo Bianchi, our MMC and head of the mafia. He has come to the US to help his cousin, take care of business, and this business, looks on the surface, to be the daughter of an enemy who is trying to take over his cousin Massimo's business, by force. That daughter is Aurora, but she is more than he bargained for, and vice versa. There is ALOT of moving pieces within this book, and this leaves you on the edge of your seat. There is pasts uncovered, betrayal amongst those close to Romeo, and Aurora who is caught between the life she had, what she had been led to believe, and what choices she will make now.

I honestly loved everything about these two, Aurora is a strong FMC, and this is seen throughout the book, and is Romeo's match in every way. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series, and if you love this genre, I highly recommend.

I was so excited to start this book , and my goodness it didn't disappoint in anyway at all. It really had you guessing through out this book trying to keep up with the twist and turn and I loved this , the still wondering was perfect.

The start of this book had me hooked , where we met the amazing grumpy , brooding Don Romeo and my goodness this man...he everything !! He was right in every way and nothing will change that for me.
How Aurora and Romeo met wasn't the best start and seeing their relationship grow. Are we going to question how they met ...maybe we should am I going too ? Hell no.

My goodness I've never read a book where I've loved both MMC but Aurora was everything this women was fire, she was so strong and head strong and stood her ground to what she thought was the right thing. My heart throughout this book hurt for her she had so many thing that could stop a person but not Aurora so 100% a loyal , loveable character I'm so glad I read her strength through this book !

And her and Romeo are just perfect and they will are a power couple for sure. She shown him what love is and what it's like to love and let walls down and god it only makes you love them both even more ♥️

The side characters I bloody loved they was perfect and they really made the story even better they all played a part through this book , in the best way for sure and I really can't wait to read more.

The ending of this book 100% leaves it open for book 2 with questions that need answering and I can't wait for it !!
Would 100% recommend this book 😀

This is a mafia romance, which honestly isn't my favourite trope (I dont dislike it. It's just not in my top favs)

But I was HOOKED on this, plus it's pretty educational... I didn't know what snow sleding until I read this... so there's that 🤣

Romeo Bianchi is the head of the Scilian Mafia. He comes back to the US to help his cousin, who has a problem with someone sabotaging the family. Romeo Kidnaps Aurora, the daughter of the man they think, is behind the attacks on the family... and well.. you can guess what happens next. There are many opportunities for snow sleding, and they are nowhere near snow.....😉

Romeo is HOT. He is RUTHLESS, and he is FILTHY!! He also gives her cute little nicknames in Italian 🥹

Bianchi releases THIS FRIDAY!!! If filthy, italian mafia Dons sound like your jam (why wouldn't they be?), then get your pre-order in now!

Review:
At first it felt a bit too insta-lust for me but it deepened quite wonderfully as the drama unfolded! There's solid plot twists for tension and I especially loved the intensity of Romeo (the name...I mean...swoon).

Aurora is taken by Mob King, Romeo as leverage to lure out her MIA father...who is suspected of putting out hits on Romeo and his business dealings. She hates that she's attracted to the dangerous and handsome man and he doesn't quite understand how he's letting the lovely Aurora creep into his guarded heart.
Simultaneously, Romeo is still trying to suss out a rat in his circle and if Aurora can be trusted. Is their love real or is she using it to break free?

Showing some of Romeo's darkness ij contrast to how he's softening to Aurora was some of my favorite stuff to explore! There's a hint to a shared past that I'd like to see more of as well! He's shown as a very smart man though, which makes him believable as head of the family. But when it comes to the heart, he's still a novice and I found that endearing.

Aurora has a lot of conflict, as she should in her predicament. She wants to be strong and at points wanta to give up, but her strength is truly put the the test in the 3rd act and I applauded her triumphing resolve!

I hope we see more of their atory because I feel like it's only beginning! I'm all in for more!

I don’t usually swear in my reviews. I like to stay calm. Measured. Reasonable. But this book? This book left me feral.

Let me make one thing perfectly clear:
This could’ve been an email.
Not even a professional one. Just a “per my last” kind of email with two sentences, no punctuation, and a passive-aggressive sign-off. CALL ME BRUTAL.

The plot, the writing, the story… lord grant me patience. I’ve read Draco Malfoy fanfics at 12 better than this.

But none of that — none of it — compares to the unholy terror that is ROME.

Rome.
The man. The myth. The walking midlife crisis.

“Will she ever forgive me?”

BABY I HOPE THE FUCK NOT.
And if she does, honestly… no words (which of course she does!!! Btw, not a spoiler, the author clearly mentions that this is a HEA)

Let’s talk about the audacity this man had.
The absolute Olympic-level gymnastics he performed trying to flip the narrative like he wasn’t the reason she ended up TORTURED for days. Not hours. Not overnight. DAYS.
And when she finally is rescued?
He does not leave her alone.

ROME, you manipulative discount villain, you don’t rescue, you ravage. You’re not tragic, you’re tiring. You are the kind of man who thinks bare-knuckle rage and wounded puppy eyes are personality traits. You are the reason her trauma has trauma!!!!

You didn’t need redemption, you needed a restraining order and a long walk into the sea.

No… I wanted to like this. I tried. But instead, I found myself physically recoiling every time this man opened his mouth 😭
I havr read bad books, but believe me nothing prepared me for the emotional whiplash of this book pretending it was a love story.

So yeah. ZERO stars. Would rather reread my old Wattpad drafts with one eye open than ever endure this again.

«This is for all the dark romance baddies who dream of being kidnapped and fucked by a Mafia Don and eaten out until you’re clean… Romeo Bianchi is ready and waiting for you…»
This dedication got me blushing and HOT!🥵

Well.. what a hot story! Starting with a kidnapping and ending with a… you have to read the book, if you want to know the ending😉

Romeo Bianchi is a hot mafia don, who is grumpy and likes to wear suits! Aurora Costa is a fierce and stubborn woman. And she accept her fate, when she find Romeo in her apartment.
It was some twist and turns, that I did not see coming.
Loved the ending and the epilogue, it was fun and sweet. Also loved the translations of italian words that was used in the book.
Can’t wait for the next book!

If you like dark romance and mafia men 😈 then you will like this book!

Someone is attacking Romeo Bianchi's business in the US and they seem to have an idea as to who it is. The only problem? They can't find him. So in order to lure him out, they plan to kill his daughter, Aurora Costa.

Romeo and Aurora have an instant attraction to each other. Even though he was meant to kill her, something about her stops him from doing so. So instead, he kidnaps her and plans to use her as bait, by pretending to be with her while in public. Somehow during the pretending, it went from lust to love. But remember, it's a dark romance so it's not all sunshine and rainbows. The Bianchi family has a rat and they after Aurora gets kidnapped again, they frame her and fabricate evidence to make her seem guilty.

Now, let's talk characters, Romeo is way to immature and needs to grow the f##k up!! He is so angry at Daniele who is his second in command, but he was literally just looking out for his boss because he just knew something wasn't right.

Actually both bosses are lacking common sense. Like Massimo refuses to believe or accept that there is a rat in his operation, when it's pretty obvious!
And Romeo, dude, she had access to nothing for the longest time! Why wouldn't you get the so called evidence authenticated. And why would you get so mad at Daniele for trying to double check everything? And then to find out that he was right and helped you save her and took care of her only for you to say, "you went against my orders, you're lucky to still be alive." Like bro, you owe him so much gratitude!

Those are my reasons as to why this has a 4 instead of a 5. I can't wait to read book 2 when it's out! 🖤

***Some Spoilers***

I love a good enemies to lovers romance book. Bianchi's character made me fall in love with his grumpy exterior and all the while knew he would end up with Aurora.
I loved Aurora but towards the very end, she was kind of annoying. The whiplash from her decisions was endless. However, given her situation, understandable.
The spicy scenes were 🥵.
When he cleaned her up after their encounters.....oh my goodness. Better clutch your pearls when you read through those scenes.

All in all, a great book! I highly suggest you order it!

Bianchi by Addison Tate
ARC REVIEW

Well, what can I say...... Enemies to Lovers is one of my least favourite tropes. I really have to be in the mood for it.... BUT...... Bianchi captured my attention from the moment I started reading it. I have not put it down until I finished it, and wow, I loved it!

I think deep down he did scare her, but not for the reasons he thought. I think she was scared of the reaction her body had to him.
"𝑨𝒔 𝒎𝒖𝒄𝒉 𝒂𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒎𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒕𝒓𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒎𝒆, 𝒊𝒕 𝒅𝒐𝒆𝒔𝒏'𝒕 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌."

I have my suspicions on who the rat is, but I'm most likely wrong 🤣
"𝒀𝒐𝒖'𝒗𝒆 𝒈𝒐𝒕 𝒂 𝒇*𝒖𝒄𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒓𝒂𝒕, 𝒊𝒔 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇*𝒄𝒌 𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒅 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒏."

Right from the start, he knew deep down she was his even if he didn't admit it!
"𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒇*𝒄𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒅 𝒉𝒆𝒓, 𝑴𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒎𝒐. 𝑺𝒉𝒆'𝒔 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒆."

I love how possessive Romeo is of her even when it was his own cousin dancing with her! 🥵
"𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒎𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒃𝒆 𝒎𝒚 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒏, 𝑴𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒎𝒐, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒅𝒐𝒏'𝒕 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒐𝒖𝒄𝒉 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕'𝒔 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒊𝒏."

This man is filthy 🔥
𝑪𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒐, 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒄*𝒎 𝒊𝒔 𝒎𝒚 𝒏𝒆𝒘 𝒇𝒂𝒗𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝒇𝒍𝒂𝒗𝒐𝒖𝒓.

I love how Aurora just wanted to protect him ❤️
"𝑰𝒕'𝒔 𝒂 𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒑. 𝑹𝒐𝒎𝒆, 𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆, 𝒅𝒐𝒏'𝒕 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆."

I really could put so many more quotes from the book, but I don't want to give any more away! What I will say is the declaration of love to each other once she forgives him made me cry 😭

You all need to pre-order this! I 100% recommend!
