Seen in the Unseen: Experiencing God’s Presence through the Psalms: A Four-Week Devotional for Mamas of Littles

Rate this book
Motherhood is a journey of profound highs and challenging lows, where moments of defeat and elation can occur within the span of an hour. Seen in the Unseen, a four-week devotional inspired by the Psalms, offers solace and wisdom tailored for mothers. Each devotion features a Psalm, reflections on its relevance to motherhood, and guided prayers to ground readers in God's presence amidst daily chaos.

The Psalms, often described as songs of the heart, provide strength and connection while navigating the demands of raising young children. Designed for busy schedules, Seen in the Unseen offers moments of respite and reflection whenever needed.

Using five elements of prayer—address, describe, confess, request, and praise—readers are encouraged to craft their own prayers inspired by the Psalms while growing in awareness of God's abiding presence amidst the mundane and the monumental, the joys and the refining work of motherhood.

What a beautiful thing to read when you’re in the trenches of motherhood. Being able to read this devotional each day is like having someone across a coffee table who gets it but also encourages you and leads you straight to Jesus for your hope and strength for the day.

This was a really special book. The season of life with little kids is so unique and can be very lonely and confusing. The author does an amazing job helping the mama feel seen. Every time I went to grab my Kindle, the title alone was refreshing. I often didn’t have time to open my Bible but I knew the Psalms were waiting for me in this book. I liked the breath prayers too.

I recommend this to mamas of littles who are desperate for God in their unique season.

I loved this book. It read just like a journal. There really aren't many books written for postpartum moms of little kids. It seems like by the time people wanted to write a book; their kids were already grown up! So, this devotional was perfect because it was so relatable and addressed issues that I am currently facing as a new mom!
