The highly anticipated conclusion to the Frankenmuth Fall and Alaska Fall series, In the October Fall World!
Don and Samantha’s community has survived the long harsh Michigan winter and made it to the April showers bring May flowers stage. They’re ready to get their gardens in and build their food stores up, so the next winter won’t be so hard on them.
Charles is a fountain of information and know-how.
They’ve made solid trading partners of Keith’s group at the campground.
Don is trying his best to get a handle on living with the things he’s had to do to get them where they are and some of the choices he’s made for the group.
One of those decisions is coming back to bite him square in the butt, though, before there can be peace, and this one costs him dearly. Follow along. You’ll be glad you did!
I read the whole series and enjoyed it very much. Being from Frankenmuth myself, slot of the areas in,the book were very familiar to me. Hope we never are faced with these circumstances, but it was interesting to read how you had the people cope with different situations. Great job.
Don and family are learning some hard lessons. It’s good to know that family is the priority: no matter what happens. Looking forward to seeing where the next book takes them.
Did not expect it to end the way it did. But in real life it would probably be the same. It was a really good read , all the way through. I did have a good cry, think I needed it. Don needed Chase to talk to and it helped. Thank you for this read.
