The four Courts that make up the Realms Of Fundamental Magic have been split for thousands of years with no communication, and no help from one another. When the leaders of each Court gathered their people and made a new home in their new lands they forgot one very important detail. The elemental power each Court holds could help the entire realm in more ways than one.
There have been three assassination attempts on the “Cursed” Queen Alinta in a month. When she and her mate King Logi try to figure out who is responsible for these attacks more things start happening that they can't explain.
Things start getting out of hand they figure out they can't handle this by themselves and it might be time to try to make an ally of another court in the realm.

Wow. Let me start with the courts. I love it when there is a certain number of places we have to follow. It gets you invested deeper. The two MC's are already mated. Which I also love. We get the story "already in progress," so to speak.
The Fire Court has some secrets. But what does the water court have to do with it? The author keeps you vested throughout the entire adventure. There are great segways between the plot, the world-building, and the politics.
Their schmexy scenes were a bit much. I don't feel like it added anything to the story. I could have done without half of it. I'm excited to see how much Alinta will grow throughout the series. Things are falling into place for her to be the next big thing.
I'm very interested in seeing what comes next from this author.
Incredible start to finish! Wasn’t expecting to enjoy this as much after reading ours for tonight and thinking nothing could top that but this was yet another 5* read!
4 courts that make up the Realms that have been split with no communication. Queen Alinta is considered to be a Cursed Queen because she looks a little different from others in her Court. Because of this there have been a few assassination attempts. King Logi wants to figure out who these attacks are like yesterday and will do whatever it takes to keep his mate safe. Even if it means trying to make an ally of a different court.
This is such a great debut novel. I was so interested in this book when I read the description of it. I knew I could not wait to read it. I like how each realm's colors are based on the powers they have. Especially when it came to the creatures. Logi is the absolutely sweetest MMC. He will do whatever he can for Alinta and isn't afraid to show it. Their love story was so sweet to read and I couldn't not get enough of it. The friendships that came about were too cute and I loved that they had more people to talk to that understood them. That ending left me needing more! This was such a good read!
If you want a quick really good fantasy read. I highly recommend Fire Court! I can't wait for the next book! Thank you so much Allena Scott for giving me the opportunity to be a part of the ARC team!
This is a crazy good story that pulls you in almost instantly. Spice starting at chapter 2 I mean how can you go wrong!? If I didn’t have a wild toddler I could’ve easily read this book in one sitting! I will say the code to the vault I predicted way in advance but that was the only predictable thing in this book!!
Wha the heck girl!! How do you end a book like that?! Ali better be okay or you’re gunna hear some words!
I just want a novella of Ali and Logi and kids/teens because I need more 😂

If you love fae, dragons, and spice this book is for you. I will honestly say I was not a fantasy fan but after reading this book oh my this author has converted me. This book grabbed and sucked me in from the very first page. Also the spice in it is spicy. I loved how the story is told from multiple perspectives and also how you could really connect with the characters. If you are thinking of entering the fantasy genre then this book is for you! You will not regret reading it. I can’t wait to read the second book.
Okay! This book was full of spice but also had a catchy storyline that kept you hooked the entire way! I finished the book in a matter of 2 days with about 5 and a half hours of total reading time.
Allena truly made you feel the bond and love between the 2 MC and I am truly hoping there is a second book in the making because the ending cannot be the end!
Each character was described so well and by the end of the book you felt like you knew each character personally. Rate it a 10/10 would read again!
Fae, dragons, magic, spice, and twists and turn, what more can you ask for in a fantasy romance. When I say this book is unique I mean it. I have never read anything like this. You get sucked in from the start and you won’t be able to put it down. And that ending!!!! Seriously, I need book two like right now!
'I reach up and pull down his zipper before sliding my hands inside his pants. I might not be able to take his stress away but I can give him a distraction.'
Fae, dragons, and spice oh my! A quick read with a magic system that's easy to follow this book sucked me in but that ending 😵💫😵🤣 she's a doozy
Wow! Definitely through me for a loop at the end, I totally thought I had it figured out and now I'm confused and ready for the second book!!!!! Well worth the read! 🥰 I think my favorite part is the different roses and animals that the author describes in all the different courts! I really need to meet them all.

I love this book! I have not read a book in at least 15 years. This book has made me remember just how much I used to enjoy reading. It pulled me in almost instantly and kept me interested throughout the entire book.it ends great, leaving you in suspense. I must say I can't wait until the next book in this series comes out. MY NEW FAVORITE AUTHOR for sure.
I haven’t picked up a physical book to read in a while. I chose this one because the cover and colors caught my eyes. This book truly draws you in and the emotions are felt. The added spice was nice! I got to the end of the book and it was the biggest cliffhanger without much warning! Definitely worth the five stars!
Fae. Dragons. Spice. A brand new fantasy world that I am so excited to see unfold! Allena has a unique take on these popular romantasy tropes. I can’t wait to see what this debut author comes up with next.
Great debut novel! I love the Fae story with the different elements. Great spice also! Such a good story and definitely sucked me in. Huge cliffhanger at the end. Can’t wait for the next book!
1) The world building is absolutely insane! I loved everything about this book from the way she integrates the elements with deities, to the magic system she has came up with for this universe! It’s absolutely captivating!! ❤️
2)Alintas character is absolutely perfect and I think her character growth in the first book alone is impressive to say the least! I love how Allena has not only made her a bad a** but she’s also a queen that’s treated as an outcast and makes the best of it like ma’am👀👀💕
3) Logi 👀🥹 he has my heart I think he may be my new favorite book boyfriend(that’s not a psycho) He is literally the sweetest yet fiercest human alive and I’m so here for it! She has created such a beautifully crafted male main character that truly treats his woman as his equal and his love for her is unmatched!! Like he is literally the perfect fae! He’s just perfect that’s all I got for him!
4) Miss Dorris, I love her character, I do feel like she’s got some lil secrets she’s hiding, but that may just be me reading into it too much, but I really do think her character fits perfectly into the whole dynamic Allena has going on!!
In conclusion, I absolutely loved this book, there is so much more to this story but that’s as much as I’m gonna say without spoiling anything!❤️ I can’t wait to read the next one!!
So Allena allowed me to arc Fire Court. I am not normally a spicy reader, and this book is spicyyyyy 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. Like right off the bat spice 🤣. I loved the different elemental courts and I cannot wait to see what Allena comes up with for the other courts and what is in-store for Ali! I love the aspect of an already bonded couple and their relationship as king and queen. Thank you again Allena for allowing me to read your debut novel!
Fire Court gives off A Court of Thorns and Roses vibes with the separate courts and the one character who escaped from her original court, but besides that the story seems original. I loved that we are given the characters who are already established in their relationship and we aren't waiting for them to realize they have love for each other. Logi is very affectionate and protective over his queen, and Alinta is a badass queen who doesn't let rumors about her stop her from doing what must be done to keep her kingdom safe.
I received this book as an ARC and in doing so I understand that there are going to be errors, most of the time I overlook errors in an ARC, with that said this book has many. The tense switches back and forth between past and present within a paragraph, some words are capitalized in one paragraph and in the next the same words are lowercase, also small spelling mistakes. With that said, overall, I enjoyed this book. I did have questions about some of the choices, and I definitely have some predictions that make me for sure what to read the next book. 3.75/5⭐
Fae, dragons, magic and TONS of spice 🌶 This is the author's debut novel, and will be a series. It seemed to move a little slow, especially in the first half of the book, and some of the dialogue seemed a little drawn out. Logi and Alinta were WAY too trusting of some new people, lol, but it seems to have been a good choice. I would liked to have learned more about the magic systems, and the bonds between the humans and their dragons/phoenixes, etc, but it is a series so hopefully that comes in a later book. That ending had me glued to the pages! Thank you to the author for this ARC copy in exchange for an honest review. 3.5⭐️
Can i just say OMG!! If you like fantasy dragons and spice you will love this book!! It had me from beginning to end and the spice is spicy 🥵🥵🥵!! Great job to the Author Allena Scott!! Cant wait for the next book!!
This was my first fae book and i’m hooked! i’m so excited for the second book! This book had me turning pages . It only took me so long to finish because i’m a busy person! Every chance i got i was reading it ! Very smexual, fast burn!
I love me a good spicy fae, magic, dragon, world-building fantasy series and this is that! The story introduces us to Alinta, the strong and somewhat outcast Queen of Fire Court and her protective, adoring, touch her (talk ill of her) and die mated husband, King Logi. We enter their story as concerns are rising within the court and the King and Queen are faced with figuring out what is happening before the magic and fae within their court, and possibly others, suffers.
The cliffhanger at the end will have you begging for book two which, luckily, is coming October 21, 2025! Titled Water Court, I am also looking forward to learning more about other characters from that court that are introduced in this book, such as Queen Maya, King Rio, and Dorris.
I am OBSESSED!! I highly recommend! The story is so good! I was hooked from the start. I love the amount of spice. And the ending!!! I’m screaming! Oh my word go read this book now!
Fire court was a slow start for me and took awhile for me to get into, but towards the end I couldn’t put it down! Definitely a good read for someone who loves the fae, spice, bonded mates and a touch her and die vibe!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! One of the things I loved most was the concept of the different season courts. While we only get to explore two in this installment, I’m really excited to dive deeper into the other two in the upcoming books. The balance between action, backstory, world-building, and spice was spot on. And that ending—OMG!! It left me eagerly anticipating the next book.
The only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the main character, Logi, was a bit much for me at times. His constant declarations of "you’re my whole reason for being" and "my love for you" felt a little overwhelming.
That being said, I really enjoyed Alinta as a character. She has so much potential, and I think she’ll become even more captivating as the series progresses. I can’t wait to see how her story unfolds!
Whew alright Allena had me hooked from the first chapter. Dragons, hot men, ooh a love story/couple that was already formed was new to me because normally you’re waiting for the couple to realize they belonged together. Lemme just say I actually really loved the fact that they were already together, I loved their story, their spice 🌶️ ughh their love and the way he protects her; the way they protect each other just warms my heart. Now that cliffhanger smh; imma need the next book soon because that can’t be what happened it just can’t I won’t accept it, sooo I’m going to need book two soon ma’am. Overall a great read if you love cuddle worthy dragons, magic, spice, sassy phoenixes, formed friendship, baddie female queens with a king that will kill for her! This is for you..! 🥰
This was a good read. I loved that it starts with the two MCs together and getting to learn their history through the book. I like a good mystery woven into the story. The ending definitely left me wanting more and I can’t wait to read the next book!
