Welcome to Copper Mountain, a small-town filled with rugged mountain men and the women strong enough to capture their hearts. Packed with sizzling chemistry, heart-stopping tension, and insta-love stories as wild as the landscape.

Tamlyn Warren never planned to stay. As an environmentalist, her life was filled with adventure and a passion for protecting nature, always on the move and never looking back she's been afraid to commit as she focuses on the only thing that matters to her career and make sure she's never dependant on a man. But when her latest research leads her to Copper Mountain, everything changes. She didn’t expect to meet Barron, a grumpy, fiercely protective ex-military lumberjack who’s as rooted to the land as the towering trees he harvests.

Barron Steele built his small-town life on Copper Mountain after his time deployed in the Middle East. Content with his solitude, he's sworn off love forever, until Tamlyn bursts into his world—challenging everything he thought he knew about love and life. Their connection is undeniable, but their opposing views ignite more than just arguments—not to mention the age-gap that seperates them. Tamlyn sees the beauty in the land Barron works so hard to tame, and Barron can’t resist the fire in her spirit, even though he knows she’s destined to leave.

As sparks fly between them, Barron battles his own fear of losing the only thing that matters to him, while Tamlyn wrestles with her new desire to stay, to finally build something lasting. When passion turns into something deeper, Barron makes the boldest move of his life, willing to risk it all for the one thing he thought he didn't love.

Will Tamlyn trade her nomadic ways for a future with the man who’s stolen her heart, or will she leave Copper Mountain behind forever?

Barron and Tamlyn's enemies to lovers, opposites attract, age-gap love story will sweep you away into a world where passion and desire are as untamed as the mountain itself.

Get ready to fall for Barron, the first of nine fiercely loyal and protective brothers, each destined to meet their match in the captivating small town of Copper Mountain.

Beautiful start for a series!

Barron is your perfect brooding Mountain man, works a a lumberjack on his families mountain. The eldest of 9 brothers, past traumas, both during military service and personal tragedy has left him closed off, and guarded. Tamlyn also has past issues and where Barron won't ever leave his mountain home, Tamlyn is always on the move, never getting close to anyone, or any place. She is an environmentalist, and she catalogues and photographs all manners of plants, and anything that grows in the forests she visits. She wonders into his property by mistake and confronts him for cutting down a tree. Something happens and Barron is so powerfully attracted to Tamlyn, he grabs her arm as he tells her to leave, and ends up with them both in a passionate kiss. Both separate, Confused and angry that this happened, and both fight against wanting more. Great struggle within them both fighting this attraction. Great story of how they begin a bewildered dating pattern that grows. Great HEA

Tamlyn is an environmentalist who finds her place in the world when she meets and falls for Barron a lumberjack from Copper Mountain. Barron is happy being alone until he meets Tamlyn and everything changes. This mountain man romance is about two characters from different worlds who are perfect for each other. Falling Hard is book one and a great start to the Men of Copper Mountain series. The writing is good, the characters are likable and I was cheering them on to get their happily ever after. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Barron lives on Copper Mountain and is a recluse. He lost his first love tragically and never really healed from it. So he tends to keep people at arms length. Tamlyn never settled down she is always on the move, new adventures never really long in one place. These two meet and their attraction and connection is instant, but their pasts make it hard for them to be together. Instalove, love after loss, grumpy/sunshine, opposites attract, sweet, romantic, with a bit of spice and safe with a sweet HEA and no OP drama😍😍

I feel like I'm reading a story NOT written by Aria Cole. The last several books just don't seem like her usual writing style and I second guess if it's really her. This book was so boring and in several spots many paragraphs were repeated. I didn't connect with the characters or the plot. Confused and disappointed.

Falling Hard

This was too he fourth book I read in the series, not the first. This was sincere and thoughtful. I laughed at first when Barron was thinking he could just be rough but he was so wrong. Then when he explained his story it brought tears to my eyes. These stories are great and the women these men meet, marry and spend their lives with are no joke and I love all of them. Thanks for sharing. Next.

Opposites do more than attract

Falling Hard is the first book in the Men of Copper Mountain series. This is a small town, mountain man, grumpy, age-gap, opposites attract, and enemies to more romance between Tamlyn Warren and Barron Steele. These two should never work but you know that they do, along with their intense and sizzling hot passion which just grows hotter. I really enjoyed this first book in the new series.

This was Barron and Tamlyn’s story. Barron built his life on Copper Mountain, content with his solitude, until Tamlyn bursts into his world—challenging everything he thought he knew about love and life. Their connection is undeniable, but their opposing views ignite more than just arguments. It was an intriguing read. And voluntarily leaving this review.

This is a good story. I really enjoyed it. I only wish it was longer. I loved the interactions between Tamlyn and Barron. They shouldn't work but somehow they do. Tamlyn is an environmentalist while Barron works as a lumberjack. Will they be able to find a happily ever after?

I finished it. Was it great? No. Was it OK? Yes. It was a good in-between book while I was waiting for a new release to come out. I didn't really have any buy-in to either character and I wasn't worried if they would get a HEA. I found so many holes in the editing that I am good at one book in the series.

Men of Copper Mountain book 1

Tamlyn is a Botanist, she loves seeking and finding adventure in the forest. She has never looked for Love because she didnt think she could settle down and stay in one place. Then she meets a very grumpy lumberjack that tells her to get off his land. Can this actually be Love ?

The author has given us a wonderful story that pulls us into the lives of Barron and Tamlyn. The story keeps us turning the pages with connection, denial, revelations and steam.

Stringy plot

The book had a good concept but lacked strong execution. One small note: Tamlyn is never told Barron's name, so how did she know it suddenly? There is a lot of info dumping, but some descriptions are nice.

Falling Hard - for Each Other

An interesting cute meet. Unknowingly trespassing on his land and the fireworks start with a kiss. I liked how it took time for them to get to know each other, but then the relationship took off. Once she decided not to leave, they got their HEA.

Could have used better editing

The story is good, but the sex scene in chapter 14 makes no sense. The logistics are so mixed up that it's like two different scenes got combined but not blended properly.

Tamlyn is an environmentalist and is always searching for the next adventure. She never stays in a place too long, but that is because of her past. That is until she comes to Copper Mountain and she meets a sexy lumberjack, Barron. Everything changes for these two upon meeting. Will she run when things are getting serious? Will Barron be the anchor she has always needed?
