It was a stupid mix up. A string of bad decisions tethering me to one of the most powerful vampires in Louisiana. When I agreed to go out on a date with a wolf shifter, I didn’t think the night would end with me covered in vampire blood and accused of murder. My options were simple: make a deal to be Warin Auclair’s on call witch, or face the vampire council. Warin might be manipulative, scheming, and rude, but he promises me his protection. Vampires and witches don’t mix. There’s no way any of this can end well. Danger keeps lurking around every corner, from deadly vampire slayers to precarious secrets. Yet, he shockingly keeps his promise, ensuring my safety, and amid all the threats, showing me who he truly is. I shouldn’t be falling for the attractive vampire. He’s immortal and I’ll never abandon my coven. So why do I want him to sink his teeth into me and never let go?
Sarah Blue is a USA Today best-selling author of paranormal, omegaverse, and contemporary romance. When she isn’t writing you can find her nose buried in a book or picking up a new craft she probably won't finish. She lives in Maryland with her husband, children, and two cats.
From the dedication alone, I knew this book was going to have me in a chokehold 👀 Ember 🧙🏽♀️, part of a coven but always feeling like the odd one out, crosses paths with Warin 🧛🏽♂️, the powerful head vampire of his nest, and sparks FLY. The forced proximity, the banter, the delicious “touch her and die” energy this was EVERYTHING I wanted and more 🦇🔥
Ember’s stubborn streak mixed with her vulnerability made her so relatable, and Warin’s morally gray, obsessive, protective nature had me swooning and yelling at my Kindle. Their slow burn had me kicking my feet and squealing, and the angst was so worth it because the payoff was chef’s kiss 💜
And can we talk about Gus 🦝, Ember’s raccoon familiar?! Absolute scene-stealer. I need him in my life.
At its heart, this story is about how love conquers all. The heart wants what it wants, and when it’s meant to be, not even coven politics or vampire power struggles can stand in the way. Cozy, witchy, vampy, spooky this is the perfect Halloween season read 🎃✨
Thank you Sarah Blue and her team for the ARC 💜🧙🏽♀️🦝🧛🏽♂️🦇
Sarah Blue is definitely a new favorite author of my that I discovered this year and The Fang Arrangement was so much fun! I looove a good forbidden romance and throw in that the hero is OBSESSED and pining!? Love it. The heroine is a witch and the hero is a vampire, which definitely should not be a relationship that can work, but the hero will stop at nothing until she is his. They have a lot of dangerous threats thrown their way, so she has to move in with him in order to be protected and kept safe. I loved how she slowly started to accept the fact that she liked him too. And her raccoon and his bat were such fun characters! I love this whole cast of characters and just had so much fun with this story in this world!!
Cozy paranormal with a sunshine garden witch & a jaded morally grey vamp that’s obsessed with her 🩸✨ includes BLOOD GUZZLING!
Ember has no luck with dating…she craves something darker. Little does she know she met a sexy vampire 8 years ago that turned her panties upside down…he just compelled her to forget him 💭
I’m all in for the HE FALLS FIRST trope! Immediately after the meet cute Warin is head over fangs & I enjoyed his pathetic attempts to try and get closer to Ember. This was a cute & cozy read with a slower pace to the plot.
🩸 he thinks he doesn’t deserve her
🩸 opposites attract
🩸 her magical blood is like nectar of the Gods
For some reason this one was a bit harder to get through because I just couldn’t get invested. The world building was superficial making the plot a bit low-stakes. I also had a hard time reconciling Warin’s character i.e. ’big-bad-vampire’ with his hesitant & nervous personality when trying to befriend Ember. It just didn’t click for me.
ALSO NOT AS SMUTTY AS EXPECTED!
3.5 ⭐️
paranormal romance fake dating (ish) opposites attract forced proximity fated mates small town vibes magical familiars HEA
This one i enjoyed alot it wasn't to much drama but just the right amount. We have Ember who is the witch who is alittle lost in the coven she wants something and she tried. Thats when she and Warin and her meet for the first time his bar he is smitten and whipes her memories of that night not wanting her in danger from his maker.
Now few years later they meet again but Warin does alittle Blackmail and scheming to have Ember be "his" witch and fight off a vampire slayer and keep his vampires safe plus his maker is dead. The tension is delicious between the 2. Lots of banter and boob looking. There is drama from a unknown vampire slayer and the vampire Council who showed up. I was alittle disappointed we didnt get more of Ember witch coven. We got more vampires. And more friends that shall get a book later. The spice was good. Wish there was more but we know Warin loved ember boobs haha.
No ow/om drama, no cheating, slight secondary character, drama, sexy times, no virgins

Immediately picked this up after The Marriage Hex and had such a good time with this Eric Northman-inspired vampire 💕
The book was funny, a little unhinged, and surprisingly sweet underneath all the chaos. The banter is top-tier, the chemistry feels effortless, and I loved that the story never took itself too seriously. It’s the kind of book that makes you grin while you read and wish there was just one more chapter.
I will definitely go in for book 3 because who could ever leave that Slayer plot line unresolved???!
I'm not a big fan of vampire romances and the whole living forever thing is part of it. They solve how to stay together but I still hate the idea of leaving behind everyone else in my life.
He's been celibate for 90 years. Ever since he knew he would have a mate. So that's cool. I'm so tired of manwhores.
I’m between a 3-4 star rating. It was fine, just not as charming as the first book. The inner dialogue and conversations got repetitive and the relationship felt a lot more surface level bc it was insta love and there was a big focus on their physical attraction. I also wasn’t attached to either MC. But I liked the premise and conflict - it was more of a murder mystery and since I wasn’t as drawn in by the romance, this kept my interest. I am excited for Iris’s book because her love interested was introduced and their relationship is already complicated AF, so I can’t wait to see how that plays out.
• Paranormal romance • Vampire x Witch • Hilarious familiars • What she refers to as kidnapping -But he calls keeping her safe • Slow burn • Touch her and die • Forced proximity • Forbidden elements • Grumpy x Sunshine • Fated mates • 106 year age gap
Another incredible addition to this series!! Sarah Blue can write! There is no doubt about it. I have been a longtime fan. From her omegaverse books to her delicious taboo series, and now with this fantasy series. I devour them all, whatever she’ll give me.
This book was SO CUTE!!!! The playfulness between these two and the added angst were so well done. And again, she gave us the most HILARIOUS familiars for these characters. Gus was a HOOT and Betty was so funny too! I just love the way she gives even the familiars such impactful personalities. The relationships they have with the MCs never fail to make me laugh so hard!
I loved Warin and Ember’s relationship instantly. The way this man was so devoted to her, yet so clueless at times, was honestly hilarious! Sarah did such an incredible job capturing his haunting character, with major golden retriever energy at times. It balanced so well with Ember’s sweet personality. I loved watching her grow stronger and stronger as a character. You can tell at the beginning of the book that Ember is a strong FMC, but the way she sometimes second-guessed herself came through at times, unless it was with Warin! Gosh, their banter was so good!
This book was kind of mild in the beginning as far as spice went, but after 71% Sarah gave us one of the BEST spice scenes I have ever read from her. IYKYK. Chapter 38! 💦
I can’t wait to see where Sarah takes us next!!
If you’re looking for a playful Halloween read with hilarious banter and mildly haunting moments, this book is absolutely what you’re looking for!
The Fang Arrangement was so good! I already loved The Marriage Hex last year from this author and I had even more fun with this one. This is a paranormal romance where she’s a witch x he’s a vampire, she’s sunshine x he’s morally grey, with forced proximity, banter, and touch her and die vibes!
Ember and War meet at the start of the story and he immediately knows that she means so much more to him. Worried for her safety around him (because of a bit of a tumultuous vampire coven shake up going on), he compels her to forget of them ever meeting and sends her on her way (with some extra bits to the compulsion too). Now it’s almost a decade later when Ember and Warin meet again after she happens to be at the scene of a vampire murder covered in vamp blood. No guy has ever worked for her and as soon as she’s around Warin, Ember starts to think it’s maybe cause she’s been waiting for him all these years…
This was so fun! All the paranormal charm, lots happening in the vampire’s world and a whole slew of characters, I loved Gus her raccoon familiar, Betty the bat, the garden fairies, Samantha, Ember’s friends from her witch coven, all the action with the hunt they’re on, Warin being absolutely obsessed with her, and seeing Ember finally realize everything. I hope more books in this series happen!
I came across Sarah Blue so randomly one day, and after I read The Marriage Hex, I was instantly HOOKED. Her books are so funny, engaging and the banter is always top notch. The Fang arrangement was no exception and if you are looking for a cute romantasy series with hilarious banter, spice galore, and morally gray MMCs but are little pushovers for the FMC? You gotta read this series!
Now you don’t necessarily need to read the first book to know what’s going on, but it doesn’t hurt to have a background on the world and other characters. But this can definitely be read as a stand alone. The second one opens up with Ember, it’s her 21st birthday and she feels compelled to go to this random vampire bar, which for her is a huge fat no for her and being a witch. Witches always keep to themselves and never stray to other mythical beings. But it’s her 21st birthday, she has always felt a little odd and left out and was looking for something different and to have a fun night. Something fun turns into meeting Warin, a vampire with piercing blue eyes and a promise to come and collect Ember when the time is right. Her compels her to forget that night, to forget meeting him, but to hold onto a desire for vampires, and how his blood made her feel.
Their story only gets better and better, and a little crazy at times. We meet some new and old faces you have met if you read the first book. We also meet an adorable yet hilarious raccoon familiar, that curses like a sailor.
I loved Ember and Warins Story and I cannot wait for Iris’s story and to see how things pan out with our little vampire slayer🖤🩸
4.5/5⭐️ 3/5🌶️
*Thank you to Sarah and her team for the amazing ARC!*
Thoroughly enjoyed this story, which was cleverly crafted as it offered a good combination of plot, character development, some angst and of course, exquisite romance.
I loved Ember, she was adorable throughout the story. I did find her faeries hilarious and of course, Gus, the raccoon familiar, was such a witty little creature. Warin was charismatic, cunning and ultimately head over heels for the FMC. The romance was slow coming, but eventually when the truth came to light and the pair admitted to themselves their genuine feelings, it was incredibly sweet to see them together.
Have not read the previous book in the series, but the author has done quite well as I did not feel like I was missing any significant information. Overall, this has been a delightful story and at some point I will definitely read another book from the series.
Witches and vampires aren’t supposed to mix… but try telling that to Ember and Warin. From the moment they meet, sparks fly—dangerous, forbidden, utterly magnetic sparks.
Ember has always been drawn to trouble, but a chance encounter with the most powerful vampire in the city sets her on a collision course with fate itself. Warin may be ruthless, but beneath all that brooding menace lies a man who would burn the world to keep her safe. And let me just say—his loyalty, his protectiveness, and that touch-her-and-die energy had me absolutely feral. 🖤
The banter? Perfection. The chemistry? Off the charts. The pacing kept me flipping pages long after I should’ve been asleep. Add in mischievous familiars (seriously, Gus deserves his own novella 😂), forbidden magic, and a romance that feels both inevitable and impossible, and you’ve got the perfect spooky season binge.
Sarah’s writing never misses—sharp, addictive, and drenched in tension. If you’re a fan of fated mates, forced proximity, grumpy x sunshine, and morally gray heroes who wait for their woman, this book is a must-read.
I can’t wait to see where this world goes next… and whose story we’ll get to devour after this. 👀
The Fang Arrangement is the coziest of paranormal romcoms and perfect for the fall!
Highlights: ✨ Witch + Vampire ✨ Raccoon familiar ✨ Forced Proximity ✨ All the banter
Ember is witness to and wrongly accused of a vampire murder. She finds herself making a deal with a century old vampire—be available for all of Warin’s witchy needs and in turn, receive his protection. Vampires and witches don’t mix and Ember’s talking raccoon familiar, Gus, is not pleased. But he’s pretty damn funny.
Ember has always felt like an outsider in her coven; her magic isn’t spectacular and she wants to find love. But Warin believes in her abilities and helps her come into her own. I love how supportive of each other they become.
You definitely have to read this! It’s so funny and then the tension and spice is immaculate. What more could you want?!
I went into this with fairly high expectations because I really enjoyed the first book, but unfortunately this one didn’t work for me. A lot of the dialogue felt cringey, and the insta-love was especially hard to get past. The romance developed so quickly that it never really had the chance to build any emotional depth.
On a more personal note, the MMC’s name is way too similar to mine, which made it feel awkward every time it came up 😭
Overall, the tone just didn’t match what I liked about the first book, and the whole thing ended up being disappointing
Thank you Sarah Blue for the arc. This was the perfect read for this time of the year, a paranormal romance to read in autumn and during spooky season. I loved both characters: Ember is such a softie, she was very insecure about her powers at the beginning, so it was amazing to read about her finding her true calling at magic. Warin was so fascinating and so protective of Ember, what I appreciated the most was that he waited for her since the moment he knew he had a mate. I liked the pace of the relationship, it was a bit slow burn but it was good since they started off with an arrangement. Being honest I found myself a bit bored at some points, even tho the plot was really interesting; also I was uncomfortable when Warin kept mentioning Ember’s breasts at the beginning when they were basically strangers.
It's like if True Blood and The Originals had a baby. Sunshine witch + obsessed vampire. And two talking familiars: always starving racoon Gus and Betty the bat. Oh, and don't get me started on garden fairies in barbie dresses😄
ember and warin were such sweeties! warin’s unwavering obsession and belief in ember was everything! when she doubts herself and her powers, he’s right there to give her the confidence she needs
also can we get a petition going for a novella with the familiars??😭anytime they’re on page or directly in there pov, i’m having a grand time, they are absolutely hilarious and so entertaining
as we head into fall, this is the perfect read for the season!!
After a blind date gone wrong, Ember finds herself between a rock and hard place after almost being a vampire's meal and then being accused of being his murderer.
Rounded up and taken to Warin Auclair, the most powerful vampire in the area, Ember is faced with being his witchy play thing for the next six months or facing the vampire council who would readily put her to death.
Ember should hate being hate being all but "kidnapped" by Warin—witches and vampires are enemies after all, but she can't help liking the rude vampire who does everything in his power to keep her safe.
I knew from The Fang Arrangement's dedication that I was going to absolutely adore this book, and I was correct!
The chemistry and banter between Ember and Warin was perfection, and Sarah kept me hooked with the forced proximity/touch her and die tropes because who doesn't love a morally gray vampire willing to any and everything to make you happy and burn the world for you if need be?!
I seriously love Celestial Witches world, and cannot wait for Iris's book!!!

Synopsis: When Ember accidentally witnesses the murder of a vampire, she’s forced to make a protection deal with one of the most powerful vampires in Louisiana. Everyone always warned Ember that her vampire obsession would get her in trouble, but despite being manipulative, and oddly obsessed with her, Warin holds his end of the bargain amid danger, a rouge vampire slayer, and secrets galore. Maybe that’s why she’s a little obsessed with him too.
Thoughts: It was such a pleasure to be back in the Celestial Witches series! I adored The Marriage Hex last year and have been looking forward to this story very much! I was hooked from the first page and absolutely loved the way this story unfolded. The Fang Arrangement has all of the perfect ingredients to make a perfect vampire romcom for spooky season!
Ember is a bit of a loner in her coven. She has her besties and her adorably snarky raccoon familiar, but her family makes it hard for her to feel worthy. On top of that, she’s always had a fascination with vampires that has left her love life quite unfulfilling. Enter Warin, a walking wet dream of a vampire with a mind wicked enough to trap Ember right where he wants her. He’s obsessed, possessive, and absolutely everything Ember wants, even if she denies it. Their slow burn descent into romance was perfection.
If you always thought Sookie should have ended up with Eric Northman, you’re going to love Warin, the wicked, blond vampire of Ember’s dreams. And a huge round of applause for Ember’s familiar, Gus, who is my new fave animal sidekick. A raccoon playing animal crossing? RIP, I’m deceased.
Definitely recommend to PNR readers! This would be perfect for a cozy spooky season read!
İlk kitapta okuduğumuz Violet’ in kankisi Ember’ in hikayesi..
Haunted Man 🌟 Witch nasıl olacak ❤️🔥
Kendini adamış bir vampir, Ember normal cadı işte, beklediğimi aldım.
I'm never mad at a Sarah Blue book. Really liked the familiar's POVs, wish there were more. It didn't have the magic of the first book (maybe I just have a thing for shifters) but I'm absolutely looking forward to the next one based on one single line from that MMC (IYKYK).
Before I get into into it, a huge thank you to Sarah and her team for the ARC copy! This was my very first ARC, and honestly? I couldn't have picked a better one to start with.
In The Fang Arrangement, we follow Ember, a witch with a soft spot for fairytales and a heart that’s holding out for a romance worthy of one. Enter Warin, a 100 year old vampire who is somehow more clueless about dating than half the guys I’ve met on Tinder. Their relationship is built on secrets and a slow burning connection that kept me rooting for them from page one.
The story is fast paced and full of magic and danger with a slayer on the loose. But what really made it for me is the cast of side characters and magical familiars who bring in the kind of chaotic, laugh out loud energy that keeps things entertaining from start to finish.
As someone who was absolutely obsessed with vampire media as a teen, this book gave me such a perfect dose of nostalgia. It feels like a love letter to all the vampire media I grew up with, while still bringing something new and exciting.
If I had one small wish, it would be for a bit more sexual tension between Ember and Warin. The chemistry is there, but I definitely wouldn’t have minded a few more spicy moments.
If you loved the previous book in the series, you’re going to absolutely adore this one. But even if you're new to the world, The Fang Arrangement totally works as a standalone for anyone needing a quick vampire fix.
Best of all, this is not Sarah’s last vampire romance, and I, for one, can’t wait to sink my teeth into whatever she writes next.
“Don’t ever doubt that I haven’t wanted you every single moment in the last century. The moment I found out I had a blood mate waiting for me, I never touched another. The second I tasted your blood, I never drank directly from a human again. My devotion is only to you, Ember Hallow, and everything I’ve done has always been because I thought it was in your best interest."
This was another cute book in this PNR world! Similar to book one, it was a tad bit boring in some parts but the perfect witchy/spooky vibes I was looking for!! 😊
Ember and Warin cross paths when a vampire slayer threatens Ember and of course the only way to keep her safe is for Warin (the vampire pining over her for years) to keep her at his house and have eyes on her at all times and stay in his room 😅
Warin was super, super sweet!! We love a boy obsessed/pining hero. AND bonus points because this one is a vampire!!! 😅
-witch x vampire -forbidden romance -forced proximity -he kidnaps her (kind of lol) -familiars (grumpy ones and so funny) -small town -found family -MCs banter -sort of slow burn -they take care of each other -grumpy x sunshine -boy obsessed -pining/longing hero (for years!!) -stalks her from afar and has his bat familiar stalk her 😅 -protective/possessive hero -touch her and die -fated mates -H experienced and about 130 years old?? When he finds out he has a mate (100 years ago) he swears off women and nevertouches anyone else. And when he finally finds said mate (8 years ago) he refuses to drink any human blood off tap again. Even if it starves him and is detrimental to his health. -h has only been with one guy intimately but has dated a ton, none just ever clicked -8 year separation. h unknowingly because H compels her to forget to keep her safe from his evil sire. They aren't with anyone in those 8 years. Her one time being intimate was unknowingly before that -OW: ex hook up of his (pre finding out he has a mate so over 100 years ago) is just annoying /drama starting. She's part of the vampire council, so she's on page a bit. She gets taken care of, though 😅. And the H always puts her in her place when she speaks ill of the h! -OM: she goes on a date with a werewolf at the start of the story, but it doesn't lead anywhere. -HEA!
This was the perfect read for spooky season. This is the second book in the paranormal series and I'd recommend reading the first book before this story. Ember was very insecure about her powers at the beginning, so it was amazing to read about her finding co fidence in her own and her magic. Warin was such a fierce cinnamon roll, so protective and caring. But my absolute favorite thing is Gus and Batty their familiars. I would die for that adorable little Raccoon. I want to be his bestie watching TV and eating all the snacks. He has my whole heart.
