One of the more unusual books in the series. After the murder of the relatively new husband of a sorority sister friend (who Jessica just happens to be visiting), Jessica discovers he was a contentious and overbearing man, in both his personal and his business relationships. POSSIBLE SPOILER: When her friend becomes a person of interest, it’s up to Jessica to peel away the obvious layers in the man’s life and find out who he really was and more important, who wanted him dead. Harry McGraw figures prominently in this book.
