Part of the Snowed In Shadow Wolf Creek CollabA lone alpha finds his fated mate and discovers the true meaning of love, loyalty, and family.
Asher
As a white wolf and a born alpha, I was destined to leave my pack and forge my own path. But little did I know that my journey would lead me to Jada, a fiercely independent woman who captured my heart from the moment our eyes met. Her intoxicating scent and unwavering spirit ignited a primal desire within me to claim her as my mate, and our bond grew stronger with each passing day. Together, we faced challenges, overcame obstacles, and forged a love that transcended the boundaries of our worlds. With Jada by my side, I found the strength to build a pack of my own, a family that would stand the test of time.
Jada
My life was a whirlwind of uncertainty until the day I encountered Asher, a mysterious and captivating lone wolf. His piercing blue eyes held a intensity that both intrigued and terrified me, but his gentle touch and unwavering devotion soon broke down the walls I had built around my heart. As our bond deepened, I discovered a strength within myself that I never knew existed, a resilience that allowed me to embrace my destiny as Asher's fated mate. Together, we navigated the challenges of our unconventional love, forging a path that defied societal norms and embraced the raw, primal connection that bound us forever. With Asher by my side, I found the courage to confront my past and embrace a future filled with love, empowerment, and the promise of a family unlike any other.
Hello, readers! I rarely visit this space, but if you’d like to connect, you can find me on my blog or social media, where I’m most active. Thank you for your support, and happy reading!
This was a really interesting story about Asher, an Alpha wolf you segregated from his pack, and Jada, a woman on the run from her past. I love a fated mates trope, and this one was cute. The way Asher practiced patience and tried to get everything together for Jada was really sweet. I would have loved for the issues with the pack and Jada's ex to be expanded upon a bit more, but overall I enjoyed this book.
The plot is pretty plain Jane, but I didn’t really expect anything different given the synopsis and page count. There was a *little* bit of drama, but things were resolved pretty quickly.
All Asher and Jada really did was f*ck…a lot. It wasn’t off putting or anything, but there wasn’t much else to their relationship once they got together.
I thought it was cute that Asher renovated his home to incorporate Jada before he revealed they were fated mates. I didn’t expect anything less though. (Have y’all read Tessa Stone’s Wintermoon series and Fated Mates series? The bar for the paranormal men is high af.)
But even though I liked Asher and Jada, I was more interested in Asher and Malik’s storyline/relationship. The decision Asher had to make broke my heart, and the submission fight damn near shattered it. The epilogue made my heart smile though.
What a delightful easy read!!! Somehow , I read these two not in order, so I already knew a few of these characters. In this book we meet Jada, who has run from her previous life and is hiding out in Shadow Wolf Creek. She has been very careful , and hopes her parents and ex don't find her. Asher has just left his pack , where his brother is akpha. Because As her is an alpha too, and no pack nerds 2 alphas. So he has set out on his own. But his brother Malik doesn't want him to go . Lots if issues with these two . As always,v when a wolf scents his fated mate all kinds of crazy things hapoen. And this is no different. I thought this story was a fantastic read, and I like the way that this world opens up , so that it isn't just one place , but several. Easy read I got done while I was at work !!! Loved it !!
This is the last book in the Shadow Wolf Creek series, and the se in book written by Tessa Stone. Interestingly enough, this book is a prequel to book 3 of the series also written by Ms. Stone.
The couple at the center of this book are Jada and Asher. Asher is the alpha of the pack Kai eventually joins in book 3. In this book we get the backstory on how Asher separated from his brother Malik and his mating with Jada.
As with the other books, this is a standalone so you do not have to read the others. Each of the three authors wrote two books. Tessa Stone’s books are the best of the series by far.
This was my first book by this author, which I found enjoyable. The spiciness was a tad over the top but not bad at all. I'm not a fan of insta-love, but as fated mates, I get it. The only issue I had was that there didn't seem to be a real plot involved, just a rushed issue with Jonathan Jada's ex and Malik. The only other thing was that some of the descriptions used to describe Jada were confusing, such as her blushing and her skin being described as pale. However, it was a good read!
Asher and Jada are everything: I remember reading part of this as the sneak peek that was released and I was so upset I didn’t have more and now I’ve gotten my fix! This story was so good and adorable! They are perfect for each other and I love how accepting she was of their bond and being mates. It was refreshing to see. Him being nervous around her at first was so cute too because this is the only real instance where he is unsure in his life and wants to impress her! Loved the whole thing!
Asher was the ultimate rebel, going against his pack. This book took me on an electrifying ride—absolutely fantastic! Jada dashed away like a track star, but once Asher had her in his grasp, there was no escape! It’s a captivating, fast-paced shifter story that kept me on the edge of my seat. Tessa has done it again, proving why she’s one of my all-time favorite paranormal authors!
Loved the way the author captured each character, there was love, lust, jealousy, and a.little drama. I understood Asher reasoning for wanting not leave the pack and his point was.proven when his brother came and seemed him out trying to get him to submit. Then you have his mate who is running from her abusive ex, he thinks just because he has money he is above all the laws but just one.encounter with Asher has him changing his mind quickly.
Tessa Stone does it again. This book fell in line with the overall theme of this series but gave me a little Wintermoon vibe. Normally the FMC has an issue accepting she’s the mate of a shifter. Jada was like where do I sign. I’m with Jada, sign me up boo. Asher was all Alpha all the time and who doesn’t like it a little rough….lol
This 3rd book of the series has me on the edge of my seat… I loved how the author Tessa Stone makes you feel like you’re apart of the story. Relatable content, it makes you laugh, cry, and inspires. Keep up the amazing work And I look forward to all the other books to this series coming.
This was a good book and good addition to the series. storyline with just enough action to keep you engaged. I took off a star because there were a few editing errors. In at least 3 places paragraphs repeat with slight variations - like there was plan to go back and edit but it was forgotten. So a little distracting but still a good story.
I loved how she didn’t give any pushback when she found out she was his mate. Ughhh, I wish there was more. I wanted to see them with Kiana and Malik… Possibly going back to his pack, or flash forward a few years where he started to form his own. This was such a cute, quick read.
GIRL! It’s taking everything in me to not give this a 5 star! 🤭 I can’t keep giving them away so much! I’m not extremely critical on books that I read, and this book being written by my fave author isn’t helping!✋🏽😂 I love her writing style, and each shifter romance book she writes just scratches the perfect part of my brain😩
Asher and Jada story was short and sweet, Jada just wanted a better life from her past which caused trauma from her ex fiancé. Asher had his problems with his brother trying to leave the pack. Loved how Asher wanted to be patient with Jada and get to know her. I’m glad him his brother was able to apologize in the end.
I'm trying to be supportive but if I paid for this - I would be upset!!! Repeated sections and lacking substance... this is the last I will read of this author.
Please invest in an editor. I've read a couple of books from this author and all were poor in reading quality.
I love Tessa’s pen, she always writes well crafted stories whether novella or full length form. The characters are developed, the spice is 10/10 and the story moves at the right pace. Definitely recommend!
As always, I enjoyed this one. I like that this wolf didn’t want to force the fated mage thing on his mate, but allowed her to realize it himself. It gave Sam from Stalking Lauren (IFYKYK). I love it!
Absolutely 💯. We need more stories like these and authors like these. It's amazing to read positive stories about black love . But it's even more amazing to read ones about paranormal black love ❤️.
The moment I saw his name was Asher, I knew I’d fall for him, and I did. He was patient, unwavering, and stood by Jada through everything. This was the perfect fated mates novella. I absolutely loved it.
I adore this, Author! She never disappoints! Cute quick story of just fate making things happen. I know this series is standalone. I wonder if all the authors would get together to bring all the characters under one storyline. 🤔
I love this series. There is so much love, cutness and smut! And something is just so sexy about a handsome, freaky shifter 😝. I lowkey want more even if there is low stakes.
Jada found much needed happiness with Asher. Asher found his purpose and loved it. I loved this story. I my loving this series. Wish the books were longer but I'm enjoying them just the same.
A passionate tale of destined lovers, where the intricate dynamics of fated mates and shifters weave a compelling narrative of romance, tension, and profound connection, offering a unique twist on the traditional shifter genre. ReneeG
Tessa Stone is an exceptional writer. I felt like the characters pulled you in. Definitely enjoyed reading it and would suggest it to others. Love the whole series!
