USA TODAY bestselling author Stephanie Bond was seven years deep into a systems engineering career and pursuing an MBA at night when an instructor remarked that she had a flair for writing and suggested that she submit to academic journals. But Stephanie, a voracious reader, was only interested in writing fiction–more specifically, romantic fiction.
Upon completing her master’s degree and with no formal training in writing (her undergraduate degree is in computer programming), she started writing a romance novel in her spare time. Two years later in 1995 she sold her first manuscript, a romantic comedy, to Harlequin Books.
In 1997, with ten sales under her belt to two publishers, Stephanie left her corporate job to write women’s romantic fiction full-time. In 2011,
Stephanie launched a self-publishing business. Since that time, she has sold more than 1 million copies of her own books. To-date, Stephanie has published over 70 novels and has over 6 million copies of her work in worldwide distribution in numerous languages and formats.
I eagerly await each episode of "GRAVE YARD GIRL" as I know the pages will leap from the book to weave Stephanie's story into a spell binding tale. Her books never fail to impress with originality and intrigue. Her characters always so believable you feel as if you have known them forever.
This month started slow with gathering eggs, writing, and thinking of Sawyer. As the month progressed, various incidents reminded her she lived in a community foreign to her: witches? warlocks? ghosts? house whispers. Along with sweet caresses and long nights. But she’s rudely reminded that even outside this community, evil lurks. And then reminded that evil lives in her own community too.
FS: "The new moon hung invisible in the inky black sky, a void that seemed to mirror the emptiness in my chest. I sat at my desk, staring at the cursor blinking on my laptop screen, but my mind kept circling back to Edra Waco's bombshell revelation."
LS: "Someone was up there, shoveling earth into the grave. They were going to bury me alive."
These are short but rather good books. In this one there's a major revelation about Sawyer, Rose's diary goes missing, there's a development with the manuscript she's working on, the goat has problems, the bookstore has problems, Curtis is a problem and, to top it off, something major happens in the graveyard.
This is so different from every book I have ever read. I never know what the next page will bring. So many different character with unique personalities. I am totally excellent for the December adventure and
November was great. Lots of twists and turns as we get closer to the end. I think this is my favorite serial series so far. After the ending of this one, I can’t wait to see how the author concludes the story.
Oh no, Josie’s dug herself deep into a mystery this time… Hopefully the final book wraps this all up with a happy conclusion, like maybe wanker curtis will break his head and admit he stole Josie’s book!
I know what I WA t to happen next month, I hope Josephine can make it happen. I feel dumb to have finished early, but I couldn't stop myself. Happy Thanksgiving.
How does Curtis know what he does? Rose and sawyers relationship twists and turns. Excited to see how this ends. Jo needs her life to get back together
