I’m rating this as a whole (excluding the side chapters since they’re still ongoing)
Overall my rating is 4.5 stars (if the sides are good it might change to 5) this story is smutty but also has a lot of plot, your typical BL manwha experience. As for red flags both of them in a way but their relationship becomes more healthy the more they communicate and TRUST me it does, I love love LOVEEE Euntak and Dojae relationship.
It’s consistent and not at all toxic (my opinion) and it just gets better the more the story progresses cause both of them at least try to work it out. Euntak (MC) is so frustrating at times it’s crazy how much I just wanna pull him by the collar and yell at him meanwhile my baby Dojae (ML) is just a cute sack of emotionless potatoes.
Cute story, cute plot, even the side characters are cute, it’s a good quick read.
(SPOILERS FOR SIDE STORY)
Why would they give me an amnesia plot???? I am legit scared on what’ll happen (even tho ik it’s still a happy ending) but like why???
I mean it’s unique compared to other side stories but let’s just see how it goes. Also I’m GLAD Euntak is the one with amnesia because IF DOJAE DID NOT REMEMBER EUNTAK brudah would be a crying mess, he wouldn’t know what to do, he’d be depressed, he’d be all over the place, Brother cant even handle his boyfriend now, how much more if he can’t remember him.
When Euntak woke up and recovered and said that his dad and best friend just handed him off to a “stranger” NO SHIT. Dojae been taking care of your ass for years, the people around you know they can trust Dojae cuz honestly they can’t deal with your needy clingy ass and tbh I feel like Dojae is the only one who can deal with you.
As much as I talk smack about Euntak, I love him. Euntak just feels so much and Dojae feels so little and I love when they argue and they talk it out, they’re a cute couple.

Estuvo bien(?) la trama es bastante típica. Un romance universitario smutty con angst moderado, nada realmente heartbreaking.
Dojae mantiene mi interés como personaje, Euntak es el típico protagonista cute naive silly (yeah, he's lame NGL) pero bueno... Por algo se llama "Opposites attract".
ESTÁ DIFÍCIL AGARRAR ALGO REMOTAMENTE BUENO DESPUÉS DE LEER PAINTER OF THE NIGHT. Estoy intentando superar el slump y'all, no es fácil hacer la transición a obras más normalitas.

[review is for the manhwa]. This is worth it for the side couple, but the main couple are a little annoying. Hyuk and Hyobin are adorable together and I love their journey (the side couple). But Euntak and Dojae just don't seem like real people, somehow? It takes a long time for Dojae's character to crystalise, so for the first 40 or so episodes he just seems like an asshole. And even after that, he's a bit yellow flag as he learns to navigate his feelings; he definitely verges on controlling and manipulative, even if it's unintentional. And Euntak seems equally wishy-washy - his character seems to change on a dime. Dojae's not wrong that chasing him around for months based on nothing but his looks is pretty shallow.
Overall, a decent read, but I got bored and almost dropped it on more than one occasion.

This review is for S1 of the webtoon.
Kwon Euntak (MC) is so cute that it was only a matter of time before Lee Dojae (ML) fell for him. KET's expressions are so endearing and he's so lovable because he wears his heart on his sleeve. I quite liked how their relationship developed because there was a little bit of angst and sweetness, and a whole lot of KET getting worked up over how he felt for LDJ. There was a lot of crying on KET's part but eventually he and LDJ managed to talk things out properly.
What I wasn't expecting though was the author making it so that KET's best friend, Goo Hyobin was revealed to have feelings for KET. I like Hyobin and I think he's a good friend to KET and that he balances out KET, so I hope the author doesn't do him dirty.

4.8 stars - love love love. plot really is fun to read and has you wanting to pull an allnighter for.
so much drama it’s kinda crazy but also semi realistic? bottom really is just a romantic lil guy who loves pretty guys; and the top seems like a player asshole but weirdly sweet when on their dates ?
there def is some drama, miscommunication kinda, infidelity (they aren’t boyfriends but one did ask to be monogamous during their 3 dates, this was not followed) - but PLS if you hate infidelity as much as i do PLEASEEEE continue reading 🙏🏽 this is the only only thing i like with this because it’s not a trope at all and you just have to wait a few seasons and we get grovelling i promise i promise i promise <333

Well, it was a carousel of emotions. Damn! I felt anger, I laughed, I cried, I felt anxiety. At the end of the first season I'm still trying to figure out if I love these characters, precisely because I always felt so confused about what I was supposed to feel. But this story captivated me enough to keep going!

Nada más para aclarar sí leí todos los volúmenes. Se puede decir que no me gustó, pero tampoco me desagrado, simplemente no es una historia terrible, aunque tampoco es espléndida es un meh. Tampoco es que sea adictiva, cosa principal que busco en manwhas, además me desespero un poco el prota.
