Another mystery solved…

After being called out to an apartment where a person has passed away in their own bed, assistant medical examiner Kenzie Kirsch is a bit surprised to find the body of a much younger man than she had expected. When foul play cannot be ruled out, Kenzie’s investigation takes her and the police on a bumpy ride that includes multiple suspects, each with their own potential motives. The mystery deepens when one of those suspects suddenly disappears. I am always intrigued by Kenzie’s adventures because each story is so original and different from all her previous cases. Her world is filled with interesting characters that all have their own issues, interests, grievances, and personal foibles. For my money, this is a great series for anyone who loves a good mystery that offers plenty of detail to provide authenticity and hold your interest without extraneous violence, gore, or bad language. I am already looking forward to the next one.

Another great read from the brilliant P. D. Workman! As Kenzie investigates the death of a young man, she quickly finds something amiss. As always, the characters are well drawn and believable, the plot nice and twisty and the storytelling exceptional. Highly recommended! I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next in the series. I received a complimentary copy of this book and chose to write a voluntary, unbiased review.

A seemingly straight forward death turns into a tangled web of lies and murder with a list of characters that will keep you guessing all the way til the end. This is not you usual murder.
Recommended.

Currying Death by P.D. Workman is the 11th book in the Kenzie Kirsch Medical Thriller series, which can also be read as a standalone. Kenzie Kirsch, an assistant medical examiner, investigates the death of a young man in his home, accompanied by his girlfriend and roommate. Despite his recent illness, the cause of death remains unclear. The story explores the mystery behind his death and raises questions about future victims. The author's realistic writing style, including detailed medical terminology and descriptive language, makes the book engaging and enjoyable. I started reading this story and the pages just flew! Check out the series if you like clean writing without gore or steamy scenes. Make sure to check out her other series while you're at it!

This is another installment in the Kenzie Kirsch series.

In this story, Kenzie gets wrapped up in a crazy death. There were so many twists and turns to this story, that I had no clue how it would end. This was thrilling to the very end.

I received this book as an advance copy, and these opinions are my own.

I absolutely love PD Workman! This book is no exception to her wonderful writing style, characters, and plot. I highly recommend this one.

This was a twisted case. An interesting one for Kenzie that is for sure! It is awesome that she enjoys her career so much. I can attest to it being less like work and more stimulating. I was also very worried for Zachary, so many triggers for him…yet he handled them better than usual! That is progress. I love this series and enjoy each book!
