Did the Soviet Union use a biologic agent in the Cold War to degrade the West’s economies? Is it still affecting Americans today as a prominent Russian scientist claims? Dr. John Mason, an infectious disease specialist at the CIA, doesn’t believe it exists. However, powerful political factions in the US stand to benefit from this alleged invisible epidemic. Dr. Mason is tasked with finding the truth. What he finds is that there are those who will do anything to prevent the truth from being known.

Thank you Netgalley for the advance reader copy of The Odessa Virion by William Bramwell in exchange for an honest review. This is not some cheesey virus book, this is a well thought out, scientific book, that really shows how poorly science and politics go together.
