人間同士の心の交流が温かく描かれています。この漫画に出会えて本当に幸せです!続きが待ち遠しいです。オススメです!
The amount of times I reread the current published Vol's is just yeah…but like can you blame me for rereading my comfort series 3 times in a row 🥹 it’s just 10/10 pure comfort

A young man ends up on the porch of a Hotel in Lapland (a region of Finland) and basically gets 'adopted' by the owners 👌
-> found family paired with trauma & angsty past?! Oh you already know this will be good 😌

•found family trope, making friends and in a way learning to trust again and feel welcomed
•daily life, slice of life
•trauma, anxiety
->traumatic past (bits and pieces get revealed throughout the events of the manga)
•former delinquent and member of a yakuza group

•the story is pretty episodic
-> we get to know more about Jun and the others with every 'episode' of the manga, you get to understand them and their personality and what shaped them into the person they are today
-fuzzy & warm vibes
-even tho some of the stories are just heartbreaking and a lot of the times we get flashbacks to Jun's traumatic past, they always end on a positive note and in a way seem to help Jun dealing with his trauma and inner demons
-> so basically helping/supporting others is helping Jun to heal

-has similar vibes (cultural aspects) to „Go with the Clouds, North by Northwest“, so if you enjoyed that series you should probably give this one a try
-I can definitely recommend this to ppl who are interested in Scandinavia, 'cause the author clearly did a lot of research on different traditions (especially food, god there’s so much good food in this series)
-perfect read for autumn and winter (Christmas themed content)

I’m not entirely sure but I believe this is senseis first serialized manga (don’t quote me on that tho) and honestly it’s so good! I just love Manga with this particular vibe and the art is 🙏😌 chef’s kiss!
-vv excited for the next vol 🤍

Musim2 hujan baca ni boleh la buat raso2 acah2 duk negara sejuk 4 musim, pastu buka pulak penghawa dingin. Barulah rasa sejuk seperti di Hotel Metsapeura tu sampai. Hehe

Hotel Metsäpeura is located in the remote Lapland region of Finland. There, days are short and nights are long and cold. It takes a kind of hardy person to survive in such a rough environment.

So, when a young man shows up on the hotel’s doorstep one night, the two elderly gentleman who run the place are understandably concerned.

This young man—Jun—discloses that he doesn’t have anywhere else to go.

Jun grew up in a children’s home in Japan and was taken in by a kind man when he became a teenager but Jun has since had to leave. He’s got nothing much with him aside from the clothes on his back and a bag full of small keepsakes.

Despite Jun’s odd story and his somewhat scary collection of tattoos, the hotel owners decide to take him in and offer Jun a job.

Will Jun come to learn that this desolate and cold place in the remote reaches of the world can be so much warmer than it seems?

So, I’m a bit of a sucker for stories like this one.

I do so appreciate stories that revolve around characters who come from rough backgrounds experiencing kindness and care for the first time in their lives—and being so befuddled by the mere notion of kindness for its own sake. It really warms my otherwise cold and bitter heart.

Also, as I become an older reader, I realize how much I appreciate slice-of-life stories that really meditate on listening and helping others and how in doing so we can all be better people. There’s something wholly enjoyable and endearing about watching a young person grow to be someone better and kinder than they could have ended up.

I recommend this one for readers who enjoy heartwarming, wholesome stories and don’t mind gently meandering from one point to the next~

THIS IS SO CUTE. I JUST WANNA BUNDLE UP THE CHARACTERS IN A BIG FLUFFY BLANKET AND PLACE THEM NEAR THE FIREWOOD SO THAT THEY'RE WARM AND FUZZY.
