The Seven Stars School Competition continues in this Volume 3. The main character, Ikki is forsaken/abandoned by his father, and his father pressured the ethics committee at the school to cause problems for Ikki. In part because of the problems caused before the light novel series started, and then because of the intimate relationship Ikki and Stella Vermilion have together. They are not only a couple, but live in the same dorm room.
I feel the author has extreme prejudice against Ikki, the main character. It is not enough to be good as a blazer, as a student, as Stella's boyfriend, and a good brother. The author created bullying by other Blazers, create problems with the ethical committees of the school and other schools, creates problems of jealousy and gossip around his relationship with Stella. I feel the author creates all this "fake drama" for lack of imagination, and action in Ikki's life. Like I've said before, the title limits the possible scope of this light novel series, if the author considers Ikki to be a failed knight, it could be from something done at the beginning (not explained yet), but if the author keeps insisting on this point, then Ikki becomes a constant failed Knight, a loser from the past towards the future.
If Ikki did not succeed, did not train hard, study hard, and perseveres with his desire to succeed, I would agree with Ikki's father, the author and all of the critics, but winning all of his competitions, doing really well in his training and his studies at school, why is everybody trying to forsake Ikki in this light novel? What is the point to a light novel where the author and everybody (except his sister and girlfriend) want the main character to fail??
If the author hates the main character, why did the author create this light novel series? would you being sound in mind and body, create a hate light novel series, about a main character you loathe? What would be the sense in this then?

Love this manga, hate the time it takes to be adapted into English. A chapter a month when it's already completed in Japanese? NO!!

I really enjoyed this arc in the anime and manga, but somehow it just didn't seem as impactful in the novelization.

"So no matter how much the Kurogane family tries to persecute Kurogane, it's already irrelevant. The society can't strike him anymore. Because with this fight, the Worst One―no, the Uncrowned Sword King, will have his fame spreading through the entire world."

This was the BEST quotation in the ENTIRE Vol. And now I'm DYINNNNNNNNNNG to read the 4th Vol. ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's the continuation of the divergence of a series, fulfilling reader's expectation of a series that doesn't follow the norm and keep on doing it exceeding my prediction on many turns

"If he was inferior, he should gather his strength. If he was imperfect, he should strain his power.

One minute was too long. Right now, he just needed one second!"
