This was a gift from my mother-in-law. I was expecting practical tips on mothering, but it was more crowd-funded reflections from both the author and her friends on motherhood. While it wasn’t life-changing, it was encouraging and honest.
This book has a great sense of humor. I was a little disappointed once I figured out that the author wasn't LDS. I know that's kind of dumb, but it changed my perspective of the book. She is a christian though and has some good thoughts.
I very much enjoyed this book. It was honest and funny about the first year with a baby. I also love that is is a Christian book as well. I highly recommend it.....even if you already had your baby! :)
Easy and quick read. Has lots of things I wrote down to meditate on and journal about. I also liked all the Scripture references she mentions to meditate on more later.
