Another good book in the saga

The picture on the cover is Brook the werewolf. For a moment I thought that we would have another addition to the harem of five, though Ashley doesn't really count as any intimacy with her would just about kill Clarke. There is one paragraph in there that made me smile. When they were in the land of craziness (I can't remember what it was called) Sammy says "I've finally been to some place worse than San Francisco. Brook ask " Even cleaner than the jungle land?" To which Sammy replies "The jungle land had less poop, everywhere." That made me smile. Again we are reminded that the best harems have no more wives than there are days in the week.
The book starts off shortly after the last one ended. Again we the reader gets to see a meeting between the next Deviant hunter (vampire assassin referred to as d-hunter) that is to be sent to kill the Broken Fang, meeting with someone very old who has dominion over this area. The gang is busy trying to explore the white door and figure out how to open the green door. Clarke through his bond with his four wives continues to grow in power and through the bond he is able to help his wives grow. A simple job, find a missing werewolf, quickly uncovers a much bigger and more sinister plot in the works.

The members of Broken Fang (I still wonder how the werewolf feels about that name) have managed to defeat several vampires now, and even some of the vaunted d-hunters. They are working their way up the chain, dealing with more powerful foes, and finding their way towards a powerful object that might help them defeat the vampires once and for all.

In this part of the story, we learn more about Clarke's mysterious past, Ashley gets some of her memoires back, and Brooke has a new problem they need to deal with. All this and more hunters, and worse, come to see if they can stop Broken Fang's winning streak.

There are interesting developments, a few twists I did not see coming, and more action of both the fighting and weapon kind and the harem sort. There is a lot of sex in this series, so if that bothers you, don't read it. Personally, I find these very enjoyable.

One final book remains to tie off the series. It will be interesting to see how it all wraps up.

Real talk: The last third of this book made me mad. There's a couple plot twists that come up that are infuriating, and when presented with a wider scope of consequences the main character doggedly refuses to consider anything except his way being the right way. One of the plot twists involves possibly the most interesting potential love interest to date which made it worse.

Also all the women are really catty and bitchy towards Ashley for most of the book and it really rubbed me the wrong way to constantly pick on the character with memory loss over things she did in the past and then FORGOT.

Otherwise, all the other flaws (entertaining and not) are still present. The consistency is appreciable at least.

Good installment

A nice fun romp. The growth is believable, both in the power of Broken Fang and their relationships. A clear escalation of threats and what the team is working towards, as well as some good twists that liven things up. Definitely recommend

Book 4 in the Blood Knight series. Easily the best one so far the plot is actually different than the last 3 and it feels like things are finally starting to come together. The writing is either getting better or I am developing Stolkholm syndrome while finishing the series.

Boobalicious battles!

The Broken Fang army, aka Clarke and his harem of loyal, well-endowed wives survived and are repairing their mansion. They race to find the Portal of Gold before the vampires. Their foes are fierce. Magic, fire, teeth and claws, swords, and bullets are flying as they face off against nightmarish adversaries.

Love this series! It ends with a whopping cliffhanger that leaves me drooling in anticipation for the next book. I received a free copy, but my review is honest and voluntary.
