Releasing Raven is an erotic horror novella written by Luna Knight. If you want a book that screams feminine rage, this one is for you!
The book follows three main characters: Raven and the Black brothers, Dorian and Malachi. The book has a multi-person POV. What happens when you are the target of an annual hunt? Do you roll over and take it like a good girl? Hell no. You bring them to their knees!
This book had such delicious revenge! I loved watching Raven come into her own and regain her power. I will never look at a candy cane the same way again. I usually read this type of body horror in Splatterpunk, and I was giddy reading it.
I can’t wait to read more books like this, Luna! Loved it!

I am absolutely convinced Luna can do no wrong and no one can tell me otherwise wise! From the moment I started this book, ohhhh dear gods was I in a CHOKEHOLD 😮💨

I’ve read some pretty bad4ss FMCs before but Raven here.. yeah, she takes the cake. There’s just something about her that made me want to watch her get whatever she wanted no matter what happened. Shes pretty cool 🤭

And the ending?!? I was a complete mess, literally spamming EVERYONE with my reactions because I just COULD NOT believe what I was reading but it was so so so so good 😮💨😭

I absolutely love Luna Knights range of writing. I think Ive read everything she has written to date and she never fails to amaze me. This is a dark erotic horror novella and its amazing. Check your triggers before starting and if that settles well with you then dive in! you will not be disappointed. Raven is our FMC, and she is my absolute favorite, she is a kick butt woman! The story follows Raven and the Black Brothers ( Malachi and Dorian). The Black Brothers have targeted Raven and they did not what they were in for. Raven is on a mission for revenge and will stop at nothing to regain her power. This novella was short but it its full of dark twists, unexpected turns and all the spice. Absolutely YES!

Wow oh wow!!! I'm a little speechless and don't know how to explain how much I loved this book!!!
Luna Knight is an amazing writer. I just love how her mind creates these characters and all the fucked up shit they get up too!!
Releasing Raven was a short novella that had lots of twists that had my jaw dropping and my mind saying what in the actual fuck, at the same time questioning myself as to why I enjoyed reading it so much.
Releasing Raven was dark, twisted, sinfully depraved, and oh so so smutty!!! I wish there was more of it.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves and enjoys to read dark & twisted romance.

I found this book on Tik Tok. I was forewarned that this was not a romance so that was good to know. This book is full of taboo, dark, extremely messed up and messy descriptions, actions, and gore. This is not a book for readers who do not enjoy dark romance, horror, or erotica. This book is dark, messy, and twisted.
In saying that, I actually quite enjoyed reading this book. Without giving all the details away - The FMC is an introverted person by nature but by no way is submissive. She meets 2 men and as the book progresses she takes back her control in a very brutal and graphic nature.

What did I just read? This was a LOT.
I’m a Luna Knight fan so wanted to give it a go even though it’s not my normal genre and definitely confirmed that this genre is not for me.
Nothing wrong with the book itself, the writing was good, the story horrifying and it fit the description of a holiday horror novella to a T.
Absolutely do not skim read the trigger and content warnings. At all. Read them and if in doubt, definitely don’t.
I’m sure horror readers will enjoy this one.

Didn't Expect That Outcome
This is a short, spicy and dark read.
This starts with a quiet FMC who finally agreed to go out with coworkers after work. Everything changes when she finds herself under the eye of the owners. These brothers have chosen her as their target. She won't be going down as easy as they thought.

Amazeballs. This book is sooo goooood, can't even explain it. I felt so many emotions and the rage was spot on for the part. I just knew revenge could be oh so sweet. Our little Raven is my spirit animal/person I swear, everything, I mean everything is so revegengish that I wished I could have been her in the past. The characters, awesome, the storyline amazing and Luna Knight is just all that and more and well, she just knows!

This is the second book of Luna’s that I have read it won’t be my last. I was pulled in immediately and couldn’t wait to see how it was all going to play out. All I can say is wow what a ride.

Releasing Raven is a crazy, completely unhinged, EXTREMELY dark, splatterpunk romance that is deviously dark. Be sure to thoroughly read Luna's content warnings because this book gets pretty heavy. It's packed with chaotic emotions, feminine rage and oh so satisfying revenge. It's a spicy quick read perfect for the holiday season. Raven is a complete badass and I absolutely adored her character. She was so strong and I loved watching her grow even though it was a short read. Very well done!

Oh my.. this book was so surprising and absolutely amazing. It was not what I was expecting at all. When I thought I knew it was gonna happen, something opposite and crazy happened instead. But I would totally read this book over again. It was like watching a movie in my head. And the feminine rage and revenge aspect of it? One of the best parts! If you’re looking for an unexpected, very dark, short story about revenge on those who deserve it, this is your story!

This book may be short but it definitely isn’t sweet and it’s not for the faint hearted! This book is a dark and depraved story about a woman who is out for revenge against the men who took something she wasn’t willing to give. If you can get past the TWs then you’ll enjoy the story, spice and horror aspects of this book. Brilliant read!

A fun little holiday novella which ticks the horror genre box quite nicely and with a kickass FMC. I need more stories like this in my life, with female empowerment, where they regain their sense of self after experiencing some of the worst atrocities women can go through. A first Luna Knight read for me, placing the author on my watchlist after this.

WARNING....this book is VERY DARK!!! But also turned out to be a good read. Its a shorter book, but gets right to the point & literally kept me wondering what was going to happen next. The ending surprised me forsure, but very dark!!

Be warned, this is not your normal romance, this is erotic horror and consideration should be taken for content before picking it up! Now, this story is completely full of amazing feminine rage and one of the most unhinged FMCs I have read. This is a quick read BUT it is the first in a series and I CANNOT wait for more Horror Babies!
