Grif learned an important lesson.
Not to be overly confident and think you are better than anyone.
Because being too cocky, he almost lost what he wanted the most, to become a Valor Dragon.

A good story told in a cute way for children to learn about continuing to learn and grow, don't be satisfied with where you are, keep improving, and don't let fear stop you from progressing. Grif the blue dragon had to learn the hard way and work hard to catch up.

My 8 year-old loves this series. Grif the Blue was his favorite book in the Small Flames series.
