I can't even say this was okay! This was just plain horrible and I mean that as a fan of the series even with the mistakes that have been made in the other books. This was just nonsense and for it to be "Reedited" it makes me wonder what the first one looked like.
Come on, the characters didn't grow and the story line was nonexistent. This was just a bunch of thoughts that didn't make a lick of sense if you've been following the stories. She start off with Fetti then a brief glimpse of what happened at the hospital. Of course they having problems and she is still bouncing back and forth with him and Rylan. Then Asia comes back, for what? Who really cares if the main characters still not growing or making a change. All the author did was replace Havoc and Tally with Justin and Asia ending with the same crap from the last book.
Asia beef with Rylan really don't make sense seeing she been gon' for years then give it up to him bringing his "son" around and talking about this mystery mission she's on. Justin I don't understand what his beef is but if anything shouldn't he be pissed with his wife of nine years seeing she was the one gave it up to Rylan.
Iman is worse off then in the beginning. The author makes her out to be someone who really gets off by getting hands put on her. It was a time when Iman was growing but in these last two she stopped. Tyler still the same but why turn Tev into a fool when he wasn't even like that. His character has been messed all the way up right along with Fetti. This is so annoying and aggravating because I was really rooting for this series but what was this?
Good thing it was free because I know for a fact this is not worth a dime seeing that the first two were actually really good.

I Just Can't
Well Ms. Gabrielle, this where we part company.
It's obvious this book was not edited. Too many typos, run together words, and missing punctuation. But, I could have gotten past all of that if there was any evidence of growth in the characters from book 1 to book 4 - there is none. Imani is still is as ditzy as ever and Ry is still the biggest whore who is doing the same shady crap without any consequences whatsoever. And, let's not forget what he did to his own damn kin in book 3.
If that isn't enough, the most sensible character does a damn 180 and flies off the damn rails. Why? Why? Why? Is to just keep churning out chapters of basically the same drama. I just can't. Hello, I was through with this series after the results of the paternity test were revealed.
I can't for the life of me understand why some folks are team Ry. If he is considered a good catch, child...we are truly living in the last days.

Trap Secrets 4: Secrets Don't Die (REEDITED)
The heroine Iman of the story is dead...or is she? Shawn and his goons busting on Ryland when he's out with his family at the fair was not right. But what bothered me is the fact that Ryland and his back in the day first love Asia have a 8 year old son named Kali. Jake is the dad of both Ryland and Asia. That was their mothers worst kept secret. Can you say ewwe along with incest!
Plus the story was hard to understand because it read like a final draft that needed to be spell checked. I'm Just Saying (IJS).
