It is very interesting, but I am not interested enough to continue, I love the premise of getting powers by drinking alcohol though

Aww mannn...
When I first heard about this comic I was really excited! It has a great premise and could be really clever, but it just didn't deliver.
I dunno, maybe I'm too 'close' to the subject of this comic to fully appreciate it? I have had personal experiences with alcoholism and recovery so maybe I was too hung up on the 'realism' or lack there of... For starters that was one of the most unrealistic AA meetings I have ever seen. Also, there was absolutely no humour in it which I think is a real shame. Lastly, the story just wasn't engaging to me, which is really disappointing as I was so taken with the idea of it.
I guess this is 1.5 stars, because giving it a 1 just feels too harsh. The art and writing was pretty solid, I just expected something different.
