Steger's won the 2003 Michael Harrington Award with his study on Globalism: The New Market Ideology.

This was a required read for my history class that I am taking. This book was set up in an interesting way which really intrigued me. There were discussion questions that were optional to answer while reading the book. This book talks about the globalization of the world from the past to now and it includes multiple works from recognized scholars.
