I'm not sure how I feel about this series yet. I really like the art style, the premise is intriguing but something is missing. I will read one more volume for now.
Still around 3.5 but rounding up for being more cohesive. At times this felt like a weird shojo version of Bleach. I love Bleach. Like, walk down the laundry aisle and shout, Bleach is awesome! love Bleach.

Okay, anyway. (*❛‿❛) Things take a turn and we get an info dump, but it's done across multiple POVs, so at least it's broken up and not just dumped. I'm not a huge fan of this turn, but it's still interesting. The art is mostly great. Shi-kun's proportions are off in a few panels (that aren't related to action deformations). And for most of the book, Aibi has a surprised face and a smiling face. When she's drawn with more or other expressions, I enjoy the book and her character more. The growing cast gives this more Shonen vibes now, but the bride aspect is still odd.
Still very pretty and engaging but I do think the fast pace is working a tad too much against just sitting with and enjoying the characters. We got some major lore dumped this novel AND two more characters introduced with an interest in Aibi, the titular bride.
And especially for one of them I'm getting a little tired, as a bi-ace, of manga doing the bit of "a woman who's obsessively and openly sapphic about the FML getting introduced for a bit of laughs in a heterosexual romance." It gives whiffs of homophobia not because they want deny such people a right to exist but because they deny them a right to be anything but comedic side character and expositioner.
I just love Aibi. The relationship between her and Shii-kun work so well and her having such a tragic never-ending fate is so sad. Hopefully, this reincarnation will be different. The art is as gorgeous as the first volume.
Absolutely beautiful art in here. Some really good scenes and learned some lore of the world but something just didn’t land with me, something is missing here and I don’t know what. This wasn’t bad at all but it also wasn’t memorable.
THIS WAS SO GOOD. I loved it so much and the designs just wow. I can’t wait for the 3rd part I’m so excited. Loved the first part but this was way better🌸
Cover man is very hot but that’s all he’s got going for him sadly. The pacing for the volume sped up to a hundred but I’m loving the dark themes. I’m really hoping this doesn’t end tragically I need aibi and shii-kun to live happily they looked so cute during their date. In next volume I need their past lives revealed!!
