The moment his lips touch mine, I know the truth—I made a mistake.
Five years ago, on the verge of one of the biggest decisions of my life, I had what should have been a fleeting encounter with a handsome stranger on a train. Little did I know that moment would change everything.

Now, after a breakup that’s left me shaken, I escape into the fantasy world of social media, posting an innocent little video of my business partner.
But when the romance book community finds it, the video goes viral, and my secret can’t stay hidden any longer.

Even worse, he wants to play along.
But now, everything’s different.
He’s standing too close, his gaze more intense than ever.

I can feel the magnetic pull between us, the unspoken words hanging in the air, and I can’t stop wondering: What if I had chosen him all those years ago?
The tension between us isn’t just a spark—it’s a wildfire. Every glance, every touch threatens to set off something beyond our control.

Austin was always the risk I couldn’t take. But now he’s right here, making it clear that pretending isn’t an option anymore. Our professional lines are blurring, and my heart is racing—torn between preserving what we’ve built and risking it all for the chance at something more.

I thought I knew what I wanted. I thought I knew who I wanted.

But now, the only thing I’m sure of is that Austin was the risk I never took—and it’s a choice I can’t stop second-guessing.

Strangers on a Train with a Twist -
Austin and Taylor were strangers who were at the crossroads in their lives when they met on a train and made a decision that took them on a personal and professional rollercoaster ride. Austin and Taylor were intensely attracted to each other from the beginning, but they put it aside to build a business together. Unfortunately, neither Austin nor Taylor .was able sustain a permanent relationship with other partners, even though they tried very hard, so they just kept dancing around each other.

However, Austin and Taylor finally found their way to each other after an incident where a misunderstanding forced them to realise their feelings for each other. Embarking on a relationship after years of longing for each other was seamless and all their friend were happy for them, as they already knew Austin and Taylor were meant to be together. Nevertheless, Austin and Taylor’s journey to a happy future may have taken a long time, but the result was a great professional and personal success story.

This was an absolutely great well-written story, with great banter between the characters, exciting dramatic moments and spicy encounters, that had me hooked from the beginning until the end. This is another captivating and scorching hot romance story, that I have come to expect from Alexis Winter.

Stopped reading after tennis court scene

He's was so childish the tennis was nothing short of harassment! He was being so childish and he wasn't listening to her at all but forcing what he wanted on her. The scene straight after he doesn't let her talk pushes himself on her! He's too forceful and took hateful to her at the tennis I get he's frustrated but you don't do that to someone you are interested in. I'm sorry but forcing yourself on them and not listening to them. Unfortunately far too many books think it's ok to have forceful men who railroad the females that not how you bridge gaps it's just lazy to have a guy just push and push then do stuff to her never letting her way no. It's just poor writing if that's the only way to move a story forward.

When to Place Personal Relationships Before Professional

Five years earlier Taylor Harrington, a beauty with deep blue eyes, pale complexation and long, wavy strawberry blonde hair, completed her successful and affirming internship with Metzler, Dodson & Dodson, one of Chicago’s most prestigious law firms. And, with her fine academic references, she was certain to secure a job offer when her glowing internship recommendation was added to her LSAT scores and her law school records, she was a dream employee.
But as she begins the train journey back to her apartment Taylor isn’t overflowing with joy. Without a doubt she was professionally set. But now that she has all the tools needed to secure her expected offer from M, D & D, she’s not convinced that she really wants that pathway. It offers financial security and future affirmation—it would set her up for life. But now on the verge of achieving her life goals, she is wavering, and when she meets a handsome, charming man on the train who also finds his professional life at an inflection point, she sees another possibility.

Austin Blake, a fellow train rider, is about 5 years older than Taylor, and he also has reached an inflection point. Working for one of the Chicago’s most influential financial institutions, he has uncovered and made public to the investors impacted, that his bosses were skimming from the clients’ accounts. Austin walks out of the imploding company after informing the impacted clients of the perfidy being conducted by his bosses against their clients. And while no longer an employee of the financial firm, several of the impacted clients have offered to set Austin up with his own financial firm in gratitude for him revealing the theft of their previous financial investment firm. So, as he also approaches a new start outside of his former, and now publicly denigrated firm, he is excited, but also very aware of the perils ahead opening his new firm. He needs to build a staff, and the first position he needs to fill is the legal head for the infant firm.

So when, Blake, fresh from being fired for exposing the perfidy of his bosses to the victimized clients, happens to spot an almost empty car–except for a beautiful, well-groomed blond—he can’t resist joining her. And when he introduces himself to the beautiful woman whom he learns is a newly minted lawyer, he soon is calling her by her first name—Taylor –and asking her to call him Austin. And before they reach a stop where one of them will exit the train, he has shared his employment situation, provided her with information about his plans to open a financial investment and advisory firm and his need for a partner to handle the new firm’slegal needs. Taylor feels that her life is no longer set in one direction. So, as they part exchanging info and planning to stay in touch, both excited about the chance of a new partnership that would launch both careers in an unexpectedly shared pathway. But what neither divulges to each—but which each privately promises to honor—is not pursuing the very sexually and intellectually appealing partner in the new partnership they have proposed forming.
Each partner individually acknowledges a physical attraction that neither had expected. Both understand that their new company’s success is dependent on creating a strong ethical public facing reputation. And while both understand that each will make personal sacrifices as the steer their new company forward, what Taylor didn’t expect was that her longtime boyfriend would resent the natural closeness and friendship that developes between the principal partners or that her boyfriend would resent her charting a new personal pathway without considering his opinion on her altered plan.

And now, Austin and Taylor, 5 years into their very successful partnership earning the loyalty of their happy and successful clients and a talented staff of conscientious professionals. But with all their professional success, the area that both have been less than successful in is their own personal romantic choices of partners. Now, like 5 years earlier, Austin and Taylor—professional partners— are at an inflection point—one that raises the possibility that if individual romantic interest were embraced, that personal relationship might change their professional and previous relationship as friends forever. The issue both friends and partners must address is whether being open to changing their professional and personal dynamics is work the risk.

I received a review copy of the novel but enjoyed it so much that I bought a copy for my personal “read again” collection.

I first found Alexis Winter through her romantic comedy series, Love You Forever, back in 2020 and I've been a loyal fan ever since. I've adored her broody mountain men, rugged alpha body guards and possessive billionaires but I LOVE her return to the romantic comedy world.

4.5 ⭐

Worth the Risk is such a great good time read. This story brought such a smile to my face with Taylor and Austin's close banter and teasing and slightly awkward moments without being cheesy or too over the top. Plus, Austin and Taylor simply have this spark that has flickered between them since their first fated meeting and 5 years and a billion dollar business later the draw between them is still strong if not stronger despite their denied outlet. Taylor definitely lets her head take the lead in her life- she took a risk in jumping into business with Austin but she took the safe road with her heart- until her long term relationship fell apart. Taylor is so many things- she can be timid and unsure, but she also has this feisty sass and stubborn streak that is mostly drawn out by Austin. Now, I fell in love with Austin's charm and charisma from the start- but his heart and love for Taylor gave me all the warm mushy feelings. While he could be upset or even slightly bitter on having wasted 5 years not being together outside of their working friendship- Austin barely seemed phased other than ecstatic that he could FINALLY act on the feelings and desires he had been bottling up for the sake of Taylor's happiness.

Now things between these two is a bit of a slower burn but don't let that fool you into thinking that this book lacks in any heat. In fact, these two seem to be trying to make up for all the lost time like a can of Pringles- because once they popped the fun did not stop 😉 Insatiable barely describes things between them.

I'm so excited how Alexis is going to continue this series- because if this book in any indication it's going to be a fabulous journey!

3.75/4 ⭐️ // 4 ⭐️

Worth The Risk by Alexis Winter is book one in her newest series Flirting With Forever.
Through dual POVs, the story has us following Taylor Harrington and Austin Blake in this Friends to Lovers, Slow Burn, Office Romance.

The story of Taylor and Austin was a sweet, cute and entertaining one, making for an easy read.
When it came to the storyline of the characters development, author Alexis did a good job in showcasing not only Taylor and Austin’s individual journey, considering the changes they went through with all the growing they did.
But also within their relationship, that bought on further growth for the two. Both individually and together.
Especially given how they flourished through many different stages of their relationship throughout, taking them from strangers, to best friends/business partners and then eventually lovers.
It was quite the journey for the two that bought on not only witty banter shared, leading to some funny moments. As well as sparkling chemistry, given the spicy sizzle it ultimately led to between Taylor and Austin.
And emotions that made for both light and deep moments too, given the emotional side to it.

There was some struggling on my part when reading Taylor and Austin’s story Worth The Risk.
And whilst a majority was due to my slump, ultimately affecting causing me to take longer than usual to finish.
However it can’t denied that a small little part did come from the story itself too. Due to the lack of major bumps within the ups and downs to offset the steady pace throughout most of it. Considering it had me hoping me a little more drama to give more oomph that the storyline seemed to be lacking IMO. Which is why my rating is TBD, since it has me going back and forth between being a 3.75/4 ⭐️ to only being 4 ⭐️.

In the end, despite my struggles, author Alexis Winter still managed to come through with yet another Contemporary Romance that delivered on the feels accompanied by an entertaining storyline that was most definitely lived up to the title Worth The Risk with reading, pun intended.

Five years ago, 24 year old Taylor Harrington was interning at a prestigious law firm in Chicago while she finished law school and passed the bar. As a first year graduate, it would be very advantageous to work for them if offered a full time job. On her way home on the train, Taylor meets Austin Blake.

Austin is 28 and was just fired from one of the top financial firms. He told one of their clients about some unfair practices that the company was using. Austin has always wanted to start his own financial firm and he is ready to take the leap. The client that he told about the unfair practices told Austin that he would be Austin’s first client. He would also bring in his friends. Austin gives Taylor his card and tells her that he could use a good corporate lawyer if she doesn’t get the job at the law firm or if she wants to go in a different direction.

Taylor is attracted to Austin but decides to jump in and work with him. That means that their relationship must stay professional and the most they could be is great friends. Five years later, they have a very successful financial firm. Taylor is happy that working with Austin was worth the risk. She recently got out of a long term relationship. She can’t help but wonder if it would be worth the risk to pursue the attraction between her and Austin.

They were a cute couple that both had their doubts about pursuing more than friendship. I can’t wait to read more in the series.

This is book one in Alexis Winter's new series "Flirting with Romance" what a great start.
When Taylor Harrington and Austin Blake met on a train it was clear to both of them that there was chemistry between them but neither imagined the convoluted, sometimes rocky road that they would travel to their HEA.
Taylor had just qualified as a lawyer with a prestigious firm but did she want to stay in her safe job, the money was good but was that what she wanted to do for the rest of her life.
Austin was a financier, he was good at his job but he was desperate to launch his own business, he needed a lawyer to work with him, could he convince Taylor, a girl who he had just met to throw her hat in the ring and take a chance with him.
As this story unfolds the chemistry only intensifies but Taylor is very much against workplace romances, she tries dating, she even gets engaged, is contemplating marriage..........but her fiance isn't Austin.
Austin is determined that no one else will have Taylor, she is his and always will be but can he convince Taylor of this ?
This is an honest to goodness romance where at times you want to bang their heads together but the chemistry is off the scale.

"Worth the Risk" is a fun and enjoyable read. Taylor and Austin's have a spark that's been there since they first met, a meet cute on a train (sigh...) and even after 5 years and building a successful business together, their attraction is still strong.

Taylor is a character with many layers. She's smart and cautious, always thinking things through. She took a big risk starting a business with Austin but played it safe when it came to her heart, until her long-term relationship ended. She can be shy and unsure, but Austin brings out her feisty and stubborn side.

Austin is charming and charismatic, but it's his love for Taylor that really stands out. He's patient and understanding, even though he's waited so long to be with her. His happiness at finally being able to show his feelings is really sweet. I must say that although I loved both characters I was absolutely smitten with Austin. He was adorable and so totally in love.

"Worth the Risk" is a well-written story that will keep you hooked and rooting for Taylor and Austin's happy ending. It's a great example of how strong relationships should develop, from friends to best friends and finally to a loving couple. So get ready to laugh, swoon, and cheer for this couple's well-deserved happy ending.

Already a firm favourite Alexis has not disappointed with the book. She can always be relied on to draw me in and not put the book down until I have finished.
This is a love story, a slow burn but when it finally combusts it will set your pages on fire.
Taylor and Austin meet on a train, she has interviewed for her dream job, he is looking to start his own firm. He asks her to take a leap of faith with him and 5 years later they have a thriving business. Austin has feelings for Taylor but won't act on them because she is already in a relationship. Taylor has similar feelings but won't act on them because she is staying true to her man, for all the wrong reasons. When Taylor posts pictures of Austin on line as a joke he becomes a sensation as people speculate about their relationship.
The banter between these two is fabulous, but will either of them ever take another leap of faith and admit their feelings. This book will draw you in so quickly and at times you will find yourself wanting to shout at them both to wake up and smell the roses, it is a beautifully written story and a fabulous read.

Chemistry Off the Charts!!
This is how I would describe Taylor and Austin. From the moment they met, there was an underlying attraction they both tried to ignore.
Being business partners, you could feel the chemistry jumping off the pages, even though they tried not to show it to each other. Neither wanted to admit a possible attraction so as not to jeopardize their friendship. An innocent kiss, due to a challenge, went viral and the will they or won't they admit their feelings was on. I could not put the book down as I could not wait to continue to see how their relationship would develop. In typical Alexis fashion, she pulled together a great story about a strong business partnership and friendship, with a very strong attraction. You can't help but root for this couple to create their own HEA. This is how strong relationships should develop, starting as friends, become best friends and moving to the BEST relationship you could every dream. So settle back with your favorite beverage as you will laugh and get lost in steamy side of the relationship. You won't be disappointed!!

Well this here is proof that Alexis can write just about anything! Billionaires, Small Town, Dark, Body Guard, and RomCom. I am not sure I can put into words what it was about this book, but I just loved reading every second of it.

We started off five years ago, Austin was let go from one job and ready to start a new journey and on his train ride he met Taylor who is trying to decide between taking the easy job where she has been an intern or branching out doing something different. They end up discussing their options together and when we go to the present, we see how they are working so well together and are best friends. But Taylor doesn’t seem to realize how much more Austin wants with her. Taylor made a risky move with her career, but she played it safe with her heart and ended up in a relationship that really didn’t mean much. Now single she is able to see things more clearly. They might have taken a while to get to the romantic part of their relationship but once they get there, it heats up fast! Alexis never shies away from adding smokin hot spice and these two brought it!

Worth the Risk Falling in Love

Austin strikes up a conversation with Taylor when he jumps onto a train. Being at crossroads on whether to accept the job at a highly acclaimed lawyer’s office or not, Austin mentions his new financial company he’s starting up & needs a lawyer. They agree not to pursue their attraction to each other so she accepts his job offer. Five years while working closely together Austin learns she’s single again. Does he take the first step to let her know that he’s been attracted to her for the last 5 yrs. or risk losing her as a team member & a friend? After her 5 yr. break-up with Noah, is she ready to jump into Austin’s arms & start a relationship with him? Austin exudes confidence, he’s charming & quick-witted which Taylor likes in a man. They do like bantering & their attraction towards each other is undeniable. They take so many risks throughout the story but is each one worth the risk?

I thoroughly enjoyed this page-turning novel. The novel title is accurate & true to the story-line. It’s definitely one to pick up & read!

My friend and I both got Worth the Risk by Alexis Winter in our Reveal Romance box. We decided to buddy read it. The book starts with Taylor and Austin meeting on a train during pivotal days in their lives. They decide to go into business together. Fast forward five years and they have a successful, vague financial firm of some sort. They are both secretly in love with the other. When Taylor reveals that she and her boyfriend have broken up, Austin takes that as an invitation. I will start by saying that I don’t think either my friend or I liked anything about this book. I know I didn’t. Austin is a walking, talking red flag. I would have enjoyed seeing him get stampeded by bulls from all the red flags he was waving. He is insufferable. Taylor is a bland uninteresting woman. The story has no substance. The bulk of their relationship was built in those five years that were skipped over. We are dropped into what felt like a very icky dynamic. There is no plot outside of them messing with each other and then banging a lot. This book needed a better editor. Not for me. It left me questioning if I want to continue getting this subscription box. 1/5 stars.

I love Alexis Winter. I love her writing, her humor and how she writes romance. Her books make me smile and swoon.
Worth The Risk is a feel-good rom-com. Austin and Taylor meet on a train. There is a bit of an instant attraction and lots of humor in that first meeting. They play well off each other. Their banter is funny and sweet. They are both at a point in their lives where they don't know what direction to take. They feel that strong chemistry their first time together (off the train) but agree to be friends and partners. It takes 5 years for that partnership/friendship to turn to more.
This book is a perfect rom-com. There are lots of laughs, some great lines and lots of love. They really are a fun couple. This book is so well written. It made me feel good. The ending is so sweet and the epilogue made me sigh and swoon. Thanks for a fun and romantic story. Bravo!
I received this ARC in exchange for a honest opinion of the book. My honest opinion is it's a wonderful story.

Worth the Risk is the first installment in the Flirting with Forever series. Worth the Risk is a workplace romantic comedy story. Worth the Risk follows the story of Austin and Taylor. I absolutely enjoyed reading Worth the Risk, I found it to be charming, hilarious at times, suspenseful, and most certainly a page-turner of a romance story. Author Alexis Winter has written a fantastic comedic romance story with a fabulous storyline/plot which is completely captivating from start to finish. Worth the Risk is an ease to read, has fabulous characters, entertaining/enjoyable, romantic/steamy, comedic, charming, and there’s a happily ever after for Austin and Taylor. I loved getting to know both Austin and Taylor and seeing their unique love story unfold before my very eyes. There were intervals where I actually felt that I was right there in the books witnessing their love. Worth the Risk definitely a book that I would recommend for anyone to checkout and give it a read.

4.5 Stars! A steamy friends to lovers romance!

Taylor is on the cusp of making major decisions on the trajectory of her future when Austin crashes into her life. His own future is also on a new, uncertain path.

Despite the undeniable chemistry between them, Taylor makes the choice to become his business partner. That decision will come to have some ramifications and come full circle.

I loved the friendship that Austin and Taylor had. I agree with Austin that she shouldn’t have had to put so much effort into having the person in your life try to spend time with you. I get that she tried for Noah, but I also think she was afraid to admit her feet herself.

As much as I liked Taylor, Austin stole the show in this book. He was definitely a perfect book boyfriend!! I loved it when he set Noah straight!

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.

Serendipitous meeting on a train leads to success!
Ms. Winter has done it again; she has written another intriguing friends-to-lovers romance plus the added tension of an office romance included. Little did Taylor Harrington and Austin Blake realize that on the day they met on the train as strangers, they set in motion a love story that would take five years (!) to come to fruition and a business partnership that would be quite lucrative. Ms. Winter knows how to grip the reader immediately and keep them on tenterhooks until the end of the book. Even when you know the invariable conclusion, it is always about the journey to that point. The blurb tells you enough to get you started; then delve into this serendipitous meeting between Taylor and Austin. Guaranteed to please if you like lots of romantic looks, missed opportunities, some angst and lots of passion with steam. Read this book! I volunteered to review an ARC of it through Booksprout.

Talk about a meet cute.
Two strangers on a train who happen to meet at crossroads in their lives and decide to take a risk on each other.
This leads to what becomes a fantastic business venture and a friendship that is unbreakable.
But is friendship the only this these two want?
Austin and Taylor put aside any romantic feelings they had for each other in order to make the business they started a success.
But through a twist of fate both realise that their relationship as a couple may just be worth the risk and what starts out as a bit of fun could actually lead the. To their happily ever after.
This book was well written and the banter between the leads was perfect.
These two also had amazing chemistry and Austin was just the person to bring out Taylor’s wild side.
Definitely a must read

Worth the Risk is book 1 in Flirting with Forever. It's a new series and this book features Austin and Taylor. Austin and Taylor first meet on a train, they were both at crossroads in their employments and decided to work together on a new business. They were both attracted to each other from the start, but they decided that the business comes first. For 5 years they danced around each other, with Austin not being able to keep a relationship and Taylor dating someone who wasn't right for her. They eventually realise their feelings for each other and finally embark on a relationship.

I absolutely adored this story, it's well written and has fantastic characters. I loved the banter between Austin and Taylor, they definitely were made for each other. If your looking for a slow burn friends to lovers romance with banter and chemistry then this book is for you.

This was such a cute and sweet read with some steam. What happens when you meet each other in the train? So many different possibilities arise. Both Taylor and Austin are at a crossroads wondering what their next steps are going to be. Austin asks Taylor a business question. Will she take it and will he be worth the risk. There is a lot of tension between the two that Alexis just pulled from them. They don’t admit what they feel, so it takes them awhile to get to what everyone knows is there. You can see it unfold on the pages beautifully. I loved this story and all the characters I met along the way. There are some funny moments and some oh my gosh, just talk moments.😂 These two are intelligent and know what they want, they just need to remove their heads and admit what they feel. I enjoyed the ride that I was taken on.

If you want a book with lots of passion and off the charts chemistry this is the book for you. Taylor and Austin were phenomenal characters and their story had me edge of my seat waiting for the other shoe to drop. A great, fun read with so much wonderful banter between Taylor and Austin will have you hooked and falling in love with them. Their friends to lovers romance is one for the books because you ride the waves with them and keep hoping that they finally get their act together and when they give in to their desires and love it is the beginning of an amazing life for them. I loved this book so much and I enjoyed every minute that I got to spend with Taylor and Austin. I cannot wait to read more in this series.

Awesome

Just love Austin and Taylor.
The whole connection, how they met on the train and fell in love instantly. But because they became partners, they waited five years before they actually connected.
Very well written lots of twists and turns. 2 people that love each other but didn't want to give it a shot due to ruining the relationship.

Very detail you can envision the words.

Lots of twists and turns lots, different emotions. Wondering when they were going to connect. Lots of challenges fighting their feelings for each other.

Loved how everything was brought together.
With a great happy ending

The best part, they made it by working as a team. And working hard. Treat peopke the way they wanted to be treated.

Thank you Alexis for a great novel look forward to Mia and Miguel' adventurers.

Austin & Taylor - strangers on a train - one in a million chance of meeting - brave enough to actually talk to a stranger! Taylor is having a good day - just had a great job interview but Austin - not so much!! As they discuss what is going on with each other, they note a chemistry but use caution for the minute. However the next day, Taylor makes a leap of faith and calls Austin - arrange a meeting - possibly date - at Austin's apartment. But as their time together plays out, a new dynamic plays out bringing them to a working partnership. As the next few years go by, business is successful but their personal lives????? The story told from both points of view is fantastic - humor, snark, sadness - all of it is there!! This is a great read by Alexis - highly recommend!!!

This is book 1 in Winter's Flirting with Forever series and a wonderful start to a new series that promises to be amazing! Our main characters are Taylor and Austin who have the best banter, and those awkward moments! Great characters Taylor and Austin meet on a train and take a leap of faith and start a business together...five years later while their business is thriving the suppressed chemistry between these two comes to a boiling point as their lives come to a crossroads. A wonderful storyline that's full of sweet and then some heat and a great level of laughs that will have you swoony for their attraction and love story. I can't wait for more from this series!

Amazing story! Austin and Taylor meet on a train. From the get-go there is a chemistry, a spark but they decide to go into business together. During this time they become friends. They laugh and joke around. But there is something more that seems to be missing. They have their careers, but what about romance, love - is that in either of their plans? They have known each other for over five years - shouldn’t something have happened by now? It is a beautiful emotional, tender, caring, passionate, romantic love story. A complete story filled with everything you would want! So, so good! I know I will read it again.

Slow burn to HOT friends to lovers. For a smart woman, Taylor was pretty UN-self-aware. While her attraction and feelings for Austin were certainly a surprise, there was no good reason she stayed with Noah so long when she KNEW things weren’t going well and she wasn’t happy. Austin was unbelievably patient! Yes, perhaps he coulda/shoulda spoken up sooner, but I also understand his just wanting her to be happy and (hopefully) come to him when she was ready. A really lovely story. Some really touching, teary spots. Very good!.

I really enjoyed reading, Worth the Risk by Alexis Winter because it was a slow burn of a romance between Austin and Taylor. Their chemistry was off the charts and instantaneous, but Taylor didn't want to take the risk. So, they became friends and worked with each other. But now things have changed and the chemistry is still there. Loved Austin's character. He was so alpha and was harboring secret feelings for Taylor. I really liked Taylor's character as well. She was very smart but gun-shy with her feelings. I received an ARC of this story and I am voluntarily choosing to leave this review. Highly recommend.

This romance is a slow burn office romance. Taylor and Austin accidentally meet on the train. He’s just been fired from his position and she is a new lawyer trying to figure out her future. As it turns out they become friends and partners in a new firm. He’s finance and she’s the finance lawyer. And talk about SLOW burn, the sexual tension builds and builds until it combusts! Austin and Taylor have this extraordinary chemistry and it’s obvious how he feels about Taylor. Even their friends can see it. The side characters are also entertaining and give the story more body. Ms Winter is an excellent writer and I couldn’t put this book down.
