In the 1960s, a series of robberies takes place in the homes of several zamindars across the Madras Province, leaving the entire zamindar families in shock. Despite multiple efforts to catch the thief, none prove successful. Finally, the responsibility to solve the case is handed over to a detective named Karnan.
