The story of Treniss Evans, a man who refused to accept the injustice of the Biden administration’s Department of Justice and Democrats during the attacks launched against conservatives in the wake of January 6th.
“Treniss Evans stands as an unwavering beacon of truth in the tumultuous aftermath of January 6th. With relentless determination, Evans has navigated the legal battles and political storms surrounding the events of that day. Tirelessly advocating for transparency and accountability, he has dedicated himself to educating the public and shedding light on the complexities and consequences of January 6th. His resilience and steadfast dedication to the pursuit of justice in the face of incredible adversity is a testament to his character and commitment to truth.” —GENERAL MICHAEL T. FLYNN, LTG, US Army (Retired)
“Some of the heroes in this chapter of history are still behind bars, still singing the national anthem every night, still standing for the principles that make this nation great, and quite frankly—their courage and commitment take my breath away. Some warriors are still in the courts, fi ghting for their lives against all the odds, the deck of injustice stacked against them. But their will remains unbroken, and their eyes remain open. Others are home now but forced to struggle every day to hold onto their families. Yet the fi res of liberty, freedom, and faith still burn in their souls.” —LARA LOGAN
I bought this book for several reasons. I wanted to support this author, Treniss Evans, and I wanted a first hand account from someone who actually went into the Capitol building that day.
He takes us from that day to May 2024 describing everything he and his family have experienced as a result of him walking into the Capitol building. His saga as well as thousands others is ongoing.
To be fair, I don’t know if I can honestly give a good review at this time. While reading this book, the author was referencing videos on line, and because I watched them, it interrupted the flow of the book, and I also was watching a Tucker Carlson interview with attorney Stefan Passantino representing clients who were subpoenaed by the J6 select committee while reading the book, how not only his clients were being unfairly treated but how he was targeted as a result of representing them. I plan to read this book again to better digest the information.
But to give a flavor of the author’s mindset, I offer his words towards the end of the book.
“January 6th was not just an event - it was a reckoning. It was the moment when the American people, long dormant, were shaken from their slumber. For too long, we believed that our government, flawed though it may still be, still operated with some semblance of justice. But that illusion was shattered as we watched the very system that was meant to protect our freedoms turn against us. Bureaucracies bloated with greed, driven by power, and fueled by the sinister ideologies of Marxism, communism and unchecked control sought to stifle our voices and rewrite the history of this country. Yet in their arrogance, they failed to see the one truth that has always guided this nation: you cannot cage the will of a free people.”
He further writes, “our mission is clear: rescue those who can be saved, awaken those who have been blinded by lies, and discard those who have willingly chosen to stand against liberty.”
Great information and finally the truth about what happened. It’s unbelievable and had I not met Treniss, I would have a hard time believing any of this.
