This was the first book I have read by Lucia Jordan and certainly will not be my last! In LUST, Ms. Jordan tells the story of Claire, a young lawyer who has recently been dumped and displaced with very little notice or regard by her boyfriend of several years. Just as she is moving into her new place, Claire learns that Brett, the boy who was her best friend throughout her school years is not only out of the military but is moving to the same city as her and wants to reunite.... A lot can change between two friends who haven't seen each other for years! Or maybe nothing has changed?

LUST is a smoking hot short read containing very light BDSM and a pair who need to work on their communication skills (something that we will hopefully see in book #2)! I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys hot erotic romance. even if you're not sure that you like erotic romance, check this out anyway: LUST is free on Amazon so you have nothing to lose!

I couldn’t get into this. I dnf’d it at 58% & the book is only 24 pages. The issue I had (and yes I know with such a limited amount of pages I should be more understanding) is it seemed rushed. Also the CONSTANT switch between POVs gave me whiplash. The internal struggle they each had based on childhood insecurities was annoying. I mean if your so overcome with attraction that you’re drooling & eye fucking the erection the guy has from the moment you open the door then just get it the fuck on & stop with the whole pretense of does he or doesn’t he want you. Seriously he just got back from deployment, I’m pretty sure he’ll take you up on an offer of friend sex. The part with the ex was a bit weird too. I was less awkward than this story in middle school…

Okay

I'm a little biased towards this book because I love friends to lovers stories. They certainly don't waste time getting action(;! These two characters have a long history though and the getting to you part of the relationship is skipped. I miss that part though. I just lack connection to the characters without it. Still, the male sounds dreamy and the characters definitely possess chemistry. Editing needs improvement but I understand now why authors skimp on the editing to reduce cost of publishing and pass savings on to the reader. I recommend this book to lovers of erotic romance and I plan to purchase the rest of the series soon. Happy reading my fellow bookworms!

Short read

This book is about a girl who was recently dumped. Then her Mom calls and tells her that her old high school best friend us back from the military and he wants to reconnect with her, she is excited to see him again. When the door opens to a gorgeous man she immediately wants him.

This book was awful. Free is not always a good thing. I tend not to like romance novels so my bad review is no surprise. She needs an editor really badly. That said, I'll probably finish the series because now I (stupidly) want to know what's going to happen with Claire and Brent. I'm sure I could guess though. I'll give the next book a higher rating if the ending is not predictable.

Ohh what it must feel like to see an old friend who you always crushed on, that is now more of a hunk than ever and get to sleep with him! One night of bliss & passion. Now he leaves assuming she getting back with her ex but that isn't what she wants! Now she chases after him to explain & he is gone. Will she get the chance to find and explain? I hope so!

This was going to be a five. A great story then it ends on a cliffhanger. You need to buy into the trilogy to have a finished story. Shame.
