Spencer Marshall was done moping. After catching her boyfriend cheating with his secretary, she decides to have a girl's weekend in Vegas with her best friend, Ryan. Lady Luck must be looking out for Spencer, because the hottie that has caught her eye at her new gym is on the same flight to Vegas.
Spencer is old-fashioned in the sense that she feels the guy should make the first move, but this hottie hasn’t approached her…until they have one hot dance in Vegas that leaves her questioning his motives.
Will her hottie finally speak to her, or will he continue playing a game of flirtation that may lead to nowhere? And will situations from their past keep them from taking the next step?
Despite what people say, not everything stays in Vegas, especially when you work out every day at the same time and at the same gym.

This was an odd series. There was scene after scene that described going somewhere or doing something in minute detail, introducing new characters, reading much like a diary...then it moved onto another scene without anything actually happening apart from more sex. I love sex in books but when you're reading the umpteenth account of the same sort of sex act it gets repetitive and I found myself skipping. Anyone that either of them dated previously turned out to be crazy and there really should be a limit on the number of threats that a character can suffer in one series. please... The love story moved very quickly at the beginning then a whole lot of over the top drama was thrown at them to justify prolonging the story. I struggled to finish this one, not a fan I'm afraid.
Sit back, relax, grab your favorite bottle of wine, and prepare for the best 493 pages of your life. This bundle of books grabs your heart stings from the first page and still has a tight grip long after their story has ended. I couldn't get enough of Brandon and Spencer and their epic love story! That’s right I used the word epic, I don’t use that word very often, but when I do you know that it’s something special. Kimberly Knight has written a beautiful series where love conquers all and broken hearts truly can be mended. And don’t forget all the hot sex!!! This series is sure to warm your heart and turn you on all on the same page. What starts out as an innocent work assignment turns into a chance meeting in Vegas followed by pure romantic bliss. From the moment Spencer first laid eyes on Brandon you just knew that this series was going to be steamy; and trust me it met and exceeded all of my expectations. It has just enough drama to keep things interesting; amazing writing to keep those pages turning; and enough passion to fulfill any romantic’s literary needs.
I loved this series and think it is great that you can have them all in one place. From the first book you start to fall in love with the characters and by the time you get to the final book they feel like family. Kimberly can draw you into a book and make you feel like you are a part of it. A must read series and one you will want to read again and again.
A year and a half ago, I stumbled upon a book called "Where I Need To Be" when I first got my Kindle and I had no clue who any of the Indie authors were. I of course one-clicked it. And immediately fell in love with it. The writing was AMAZING! The story was unlike anything I had ever read before and I was immediately wanting more. So, I go on Facebook to look up who Kimberly Knight is and find out that this is going to be a series. YES!! Anxiously wait for books two and three. And as time waits, I read book one several more times. LOL I fell in love with Brandon and Spencer's character's. Brandon is one of my top Book Boyfriend's. This entire series is a FIVE STEAMY STAR READ!!!! You won't be disappointed!!
Where I Need To Be (#) starts off with Spencer getting out of a relationship, and going to the gym. She sees the hottie across the gym. Just be prepared ladies, you never know who you will meet at the gym. It could be "the one." ;) Spencer and her BFF, Ryan, decide to take a girls weekend in Vegas. And they run into the hottie from the gym. They had a very steamy, hot dance at a club in Vegas that would forever be burned in their (and your) minds. After that dance, they started dating and immediately became inseparable. The fire and connection between Spencer and Brandon is enough to melt your Kindle. :) Brandon's ex isn't completely out of the picture though, she does pop back in with her crazy self to make it hard on Spencer. But she takes it like a mature adult, and is there for Brandon to be fully supportive no matter what (even though Christy is lying and totally CRAZY!!)
Finding Spencer (#1.5) is written from Brandon's POV. Brandon tells his side of how he met Spencer and how he fell in love with Spencer at first site. He knew the first time that he laid eyes on her, that she was the one he would marry. He gives his version of his one-sided relationship with Christy.
Wanted (#2) picks up right where Where I Need To Be left off. After Spencer has a near death experience, they do their best to move on with their lives. Spencer puts all of her time and energy into helping Ryan plan her wedding. But yet again, a person who Spencer has met and is from Brandon's past, is out to harm them and tear them apart. Why is this happening to her, and them? Can they survive yet another tragedy in their lives?
Wanting Spencer (#2.5) is written from Brandon's POV. Brandon tells his side of how Spencer is coping with near death experience. And trying to piece herself back together. He is so unbelievably in love with her that he would do anything to help her move past what happened. Then another tragic even happens, and Brandon can't help but think that he is wrong for Spencer. Is it true?
Anything Like Me (#3)lets us see how Brandon and Spencer's love evolves even more as they plan their wedding. They end up with an unexpected house guest the night of the proposal, who eventually overstays his welcome. Things are changing for the good after the trial once they can put the evil of the things that have happened to them behind them. They can get married, have their honeymoon, and live their happily ever after that they have wanted.
Forever Spencer (#3.5) is the final segment in this series from Brandon's POV. Brandon is focused on giving Spencer her happily ever after. With their enemie's on trial, and helping Spencer getting past all of the bad and getting her happily ever after. He wants her wedding and honeymoon to be memorable. Brandon wants their love to last forever, and overcome the test of time.
Do not pass up this wonderful series. I didn't give spoilers. This is a page-turning series that will leave you wanting more and fanning yourself at times. Enjoy!!!!
I would give this series 3.5 stars. I liked the story line but I didn't always enjoy the writing. Sometimes there were too many details. I love details so if I say it then it's a lot. There were also multiple times that stuff just didn't fit. Something would be thrown in and I wasn't always sure why it was added. On the other hand I loved Brandon and Spencer. They really were too good to be true but I suppose that's why we read romance novels.
It's the complete start of a great story. Though it starts with heartache, and there are some life threatening events. These first three books show how Brandon and Spencer meet and fall in love. I hope there's more to the story, and we get to see the children grow up.
This was a good boxed series. I really enjoyed books 1 and 2. Book 3 was a little slow for me and I had a hard time keeping interest in it. It seemed to drag on and could have been shortened. I look forward to more from this author.
I loved it, it has everything you want in a story and so much more!! It draws you in from the very beginning...there are characters you will love and some you will love to hate. Kimberly is a talent not to be ignored!!
