I have had anxiety for a long time and have had CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) in the past to help as well as reading many books to help. When this little book arrived from the publisher, I wasn't expecting too much. However it may be small but it certainly packs a punch! I was happily surprised with how much useful information is in this book!

The Anxiety Fix is a small book that holds a lot of information but also has worksheets/pages to go through as youbwork your way through the book. These are done in such an order that they really make you think about your anxiety from the start of what causes and triggers your anxiety to the many ways in which you can help yourself as well as learn coping strategies.
It is split up into four sections. The first is "Anxiety and You". This section teaches you more about anxiety and how your personal anxiety shows and what it feels like for you. It had plenty of worksheets to really make you think about your anxiety and also your triggers.
The second section is How to Quieten your Mind" which is very CBT based and looks into your worry cycle and how to break the cycle and stop negative thoughts befire they become spirals. It alsongives you plenty of tips to help you calm your mind. Some may be pretty simple but serve as a reminder.
The third section is "The Power of Self Care" whick looks into how self care can help reduce anxiety. It gives lots of helpful tips into ways to introduce self care and what it looks like in your life. There are many trackers and schedules to help you complete this section too.
The final section is "Coping Strategies" which gives you plenty of information as well as many differing types of ways to cope with your anxiety that can be done quickly or some that take more self reflection and time.

Overall, this book is such a brilliant little tool for helping anyone with anxiety. It is simple to read and use but still had a lot of information and ways in which the user can implement strategies to help reduce or deal with their anxiety.
My few critiques are that I would have liked a little more scientific information on anxiety. I also would have liked there to be more of the forms available inside the book or even just a link to print off more of the forms at home. I think that could really help users continue the good work in helping themselves longterm.

A great little book especially for people trying to tackle their anxiety for the first time.

Please note that I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

As someone who struggles with anxiety, I never would of imagined how a couple of books would help me to restore my calm and inner peace. As much as I love reading and find it peaceful there is always a niggle at the back of my mind, but with the help of some really useful books, these are really helping me to breathe and reset. It is really well set out and easy to understand. This book is set out more of a journal which I never would of thought that I would find helpful but I really do. There are different activities to do each day or whenever you need something to help you stay calm. It will help you take care of your anxiety, it has helped but I am looking forward to combatting day to day life with the help of the anxiety fix book at my fingertips.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It contained a lot of strategies dedicated towards dealing with anxiety. It helped me to be more calm, less stressed out and see the bigger picture beyond my fears. Also, the language was empathetic and full of compassion. Highly recommend!

I think this book is helpful for those suffering from anxiety, although it's nothing revolutionary. Maybe it would be good for a first read, but as someone who has read dozens of self-help books, it didn't teach me anything I didn't already know.

It is a nice crash course in anxiety fixing, with some exercises and tips, that you will revisit when the times are difficult. Not a riveting read, but a cosy one.
