Picked this paperback up for £1 and I'm glad I only paid a quid for it, don't get me wrong it's not the worst compilation of unexplained mysteries I've read but it's far from solid and by that I mean how each unexplained case is tackled. The book is an assortment of mysteries ranging from missing people,UFO,s,Ghosts and other conundrums which have eluded scientific understanding. Each section compiles numerous accounts of that particular mystery IE Ghosts, missing people etc as I've stated but my problem with the cases included are that the author barely scratches the surface on many of the cases one such case being the famed betty and Barney hill alien abduction case of 1967 which remains one of the most credible cases in existence. Jamie King doesn't even mention the star map which betty hill drew and would years later be identified as Zetz Reticuli by Marjorie Fish. It was this star map that the beings told betty that they came from yet apparently this wasn't important enough to include within the very basic covering of such a profound case. There were cases such as the ghostly car crash in the A3 I hadn't heard of before along with others which were refreshing but if your after a detailed in depth approach on unexplained mysteries and phenomena then I would have to say give it a miss there are far better compilations out there in their hundreds but for a pound, one cannot complain, it's a poundshop collection of unsolved mysteries with all due respect.👍

Stories are short enough to keep you interested but it does end up sending you down a rabbit hole of googling the stories and spending hours reading about them.
