Don’t you just love it when a series is filled with characters that you begin see as friends? Once again Melissa Foster and her latest tale,Fated for Love makes love bloom between two people with little in common. Callie is the last of her friends to remain single, convincing herself that she loves her life as a refined, small town assistant librarian. Enter her Thursday eye candy, avid reader, Wes Braden, rugged, handsome and one of the most eligible bachelors in town. When her college friends arrange a ‘spa” weekend, little did either Callie or Wes know how just a few days can turn their lives upside down and inside out. That ‘spa” visit? Turned out to be a weekend at a Dude Ranch, complete with rugged cowboys, horses, and wild animals, not to mention the wild beauty of nature. Too bad Callie is a city girl and totally out of her element. Owner Wes Braden breaks his own rule and will do anything to help Callie learn to enjoy the outdoors, including giving his heart to her. But will opposites be able to keep their attraction strong or is this just a weekend fling between the cowboy and the fragile flower? Could be Callie is more Tiger Lily than Pansy as she learns to trust and take a chance on living and loving.
Melissa Foster has put the love story back in contemporary romance with her gentle approach to a budding relationship between her characters as they begin circling each other with love and lust in their eyes. With light humor and well-meaning supporting characters, Ms. Foster’s gift for creating a warm and fuzzy romance is spot on. Series: The Bradens - Book 8 Publication Date: July 14, 2014 Publisher: World Literary Press ISBN: 1941480012 Genre: Adult Contemporary Romance Print Length: 300 pages Available from: Amazon | Barnes & Noble
Fated For Love is the second book in the Bradens at Trusty, CO series. It can definitely be read as a standalone. I fell in love with the first book in the series partly because of the awesome small town feel of Trusty, Colorado and I wasn’t sure if I would like this second book a bit less because it takes place outside of the town. But that was not the case at all! I loved Wes and Callie’s story!
Callie, a quiet, very unathletic librarian is ‘tricked’ into a weekend at a Dude ranch. But things are looking up when their trip is supervised by her secret crush, Wes Braden.
I listened to this story on audiobook on my commute this week and smiled all through the traffic! I can’t wait to listen to more books in this series. -4.5 Stars!-
Another great narration by Mr. Harrison. I love how smooth his voice is and how it adds so much depth to the emotions each character feels. He literally pulls me into the story each and every time.
I loved how this story revolved around not only Callie’s fears, but a few issues Wes was dealing with as well. I’m a huge fan of librarian heroines so I was behind Callie from the beginning. Watching her face each fear and conquer it was inspiring. Some of it was definitely Wes’ influence but she quickly learned what she could do on her own.
Wes was a great hero with plenty of alpha protectiveness and some twinges of jealousy to spicen the building relationship up. This author checked a few of my perfect hero boxes with Wes!
This is filled with lots of great characters as well as plenty of steam. It’s a pretty fast read/listen and once I started, I didn’t want to quit.

Callie Barnes was the local librarian. Wes Braden the local hot, sexy, wilderness rancher. They find each other in a library and learn so much more about each other out on the wilderness of the Colorado prairie. Sweet almost innocent Callie finds that she has deep crush on the local rancher, Wes. She begin to learn more about herself on the girls trip experience that she was not expecting.
Most of the town could see what was before the two. There were a large host of characters both primary and secondary that captured my attention and have me looking for more from them.
B.J. Harrison provided a vocal backdrop for he story which neither added or took away from the story that was being told.
Audio Review: Fated for Love (The Bradens at Trusty #2; The Bradens #8; Love in Bloom #17) by Melissa Foster (Author), B.J. Harrison (Narrator)
Are they written in the stars or fated to give into their scars? I've said it before, but I'll say it again, I think I'm in love. Callie and Wes ARE my favorite Melissa Foster duo. She's a diva of books. He's a wanderer searching for home. It couldn't be more obvious that sparks were bound to fly. Fated for Love reads like the sweetest serenade. Beneath the backdrop of the mountain terrain, a rugged cowboy and a timid bookworm find the courage to fall in love. Hearts are broken, pride is bruised and emotions run deep, but the climb to ever after, could be the greatest love story ever told. Whether in ebook or audio, this couple captivates.
Fated for love was my first novel that I have had the privilege of reading by Melissa Foster and I absolutely loved it from the very beginning. I fell instantly in love with Callie and felt this connection with her character and loved her innocence. Readers will instantly heat up when they picture Wes Braden, as Foster does an amazing job of making this hunky hero into a bedtime fantasy.
Wes Braden is swoon worthy with his prince charming ways as he tries to seduce Callie into his life. With his ability to make you fall in love with him with his articulate words, "I want to take you with me on horseback rides and do silly things like lie beneath the stars and figure out which one we want to call our own." His eyes searched hers. She laced his fingers with his just to feel closer to him. She never wanted to forget a single word he said. "I never knew I could want any of those things until you."
I absolutely loved this book and what made me even love it more, is when I found out it was part of another series that tied into the Braden men. If they are all as swoon worthy as Wes and the book are just as steamy, readers would be in for a great ride ... in more ways then one (if you catch my drift).
There were no dull parts in this novel and Foster did an amazing job of making the characters come to life. You had comedy, sex, romance, sex, and did I mention hot steamy sex? Foster doesn't hold back and had me staying up till all hours of the night to finish this amazing read!
I definitely recommend this one for the hot summer nights when you can't sleep ... 5 Stars!
Callie moved from Denver to small town Trusty and start to work as librarian. There she doesn't expects so much but quite life with many books.Callie loves her work and she works so hard. From all days in week she loves Thursdays, because the most handsome guy in Trusty,Wes visits library every Thursday. She doesn't see her girlfriends often and doesn't goes out,so they arrange a weekend in some spa resort. But instead a spa weekend Callie gets a dude ranch weekend. There she will faces her fears and everything in her life will be different. I didn't expect that this book will be better then Taken by Love, but it is better to me;and I realized that every next read book by Melissa Foster is better. This author enchants me with her style and plot and this book is simply best romance book that I read lately.I say that because this book give me shivers, made me cry with happiness and melt my heart like a candle. The characters in the book are so real that I has feeling that I know them in real life.I like Callie, cause she is courageous and she has enough courage to face her fears and move on.I also like Wes, cause he is man enough to admit himself that love is all around and also like him cause he is so thoughtful and handsome.Callie's girlfriends are very likable too, they are supportive and really good friends, I like that they are sincere and I like their jokes. This book I highly recommend to everyone who love romance book, which will stay in your mind for a while and melt your heart. This book was provided by Fiction Addiction Book Tours in exchange for honest review.
I wanted to but I just could not finish this book. I liked Wes a lot but Callie was so annoying I just could not take it anymore. I like to read to pass the time not to struggle so hard to try to get through one. Maybe it is just because I am going through a very difficult time right now but her so called problems were not problems at all, she just came across as weak and whiny.
Any book by Melissa Foster is a must read for me!! Her writing is amazing...grabs you from the beginning! Pure chemistry, flirty, sexy, romance....Couldn't ask for better!!
Fated for Love (Love in Bloom Book #17) by Melissa Foster. The Love in Bloom series proved to be a heartwarming journey through love, family, and personal growth. Spanning multiple interconnected series/stories, it offers a wonderful blend of romance, humor, and emotional depth that kept me reading the whole way through. Ms. Foster crafted fully developed, relatable, and multidimensional characters who added an extra element of emotion and interest to my overall reading experience. The heroes are fiercely loyal and endearing, while the heroines are smart, empowered, and refreshingly ‘real’. Each character feels like someone you could know in real life, making their struggles and triumphs, high and lows, all the more impactful. The stories have a perfect balance of steamy romance mixed with heartfelt moments. But that doesn’t mean that Ms. Foster shies away from exploring deeper themes like forgiveness, self-discovery, and the complexities of relationships – adding dynamic layers to the storyline/s. But, despite the emotional depth, the series still maintains more of a lighthearted charm, sprinkled with humor and tender family connections. While each novel can be read as a standalone, there is an interconnectedness with the recurring characters and overlapping storylines - which help create a sense of community that feels warm and inviting. It’s like being welcomed into a big, loving family where everyone has a worthwhile story to tell. ‘Within the Love in Bloom big-family romance collection you'll find fiercely loyal heroes and smart, empowered women on their search for true love. They're flawed, funny, and easy to relate to. Characters from each series appear in future Love in Bloom books…’ If you are a fan of contemporary romance or simply looking for a feel-good series to escape into, this series is a worthwhile binge read… Love in Bloom is made up of the following series: - Snow Sisters - The Bradens (Weston, CO) - The Remingtons - The Bradens (Trusty, CO) - The Bradens Novellas Collection - The Bradens (Peaceful Harbor, MD) - Seaside Summers - Bayside Summers - The Ryders - The Steeles at Silver Island - The Silvers at Silver Island - Wild Boys After Dark - Bad Boys After Dark - The Whiskeys: Dark Knights at Peaceful Harbor - The Bradens & Montgomerys, Pleasant Hill – Oak Falls - The Bradens at Ridgeport - The Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside - The Whiskeys: Dark Knights at Redemption Ranch - Romantic Comedy Series Collection - Sugar Lake - Harmony Pointe - Harborside Nights - Nice Girls After Dark - The Steeles - The Stones - Blazing Summer - The Brays
This was just a fun romance. If you haven't read Melissa Foster before you need to understand that her protagonists couplings always begins with love at first sight. Both the man and the woman upon locking eyes for the first time feel an unfamiliar but irresistible, undeniable pull towards one another. In the Bradens of Trusty Co. series the four Braden men are all confirmed bachelors, seemingly happy in their singleness and occasional one night hook-ups. Until they meet that certain someone. In Fated for Love Wes Braden who runs a dude ranch outside of Trusty with his lifelong best friend Chip meets Callie, the town's new assistant librarian who has recently relocated from family and friends in Denver, and he finds himself making weekly visits to the local library just to spend a few moments with Callie. Callie like most of the women in Trusty finds herself smitten with Wes although she's far too shy to intentionally flirt with him. Callie's college friends/sorority sisters concerned that Callie has no social life in Trusty decide to take her to Wes's dude ranch for a weekend girls trip to get her out of her comfort zone and hopefully out of her dull daily routine of work and home. Callie thinks she's going for a spa weekend and her girlfriends have no idea that Callie's crush Wes owns the dude ranch. Surprise! Callie is afraid of heights, afraid of deep water, bugs and has no experience with hiking, fishing, shooting, horseback riding or camping. But once she discovers Wes will be her guide she's willing to face her fears if it means spending time with him. And Wes is more than willing to go above and beyond to help Callie feel comfortable in his world as her girlfriends serve as cheerleaders to their budding romance. Wes is your standard macho, handsome swoon worthy romance novel hero and Callie is in many ways the stereo typical prim and proper beauty who when she takes her glasses off and lets her hair down becomes a super sexy super model who quickly loses any sexual inhibitions she might have. I really enjoyed the story and I'm certain the lady readers will just swoon over all of the romantic gestures Wes made to woo Callie. The secondary characters, Wes's family, Callie's friends and the other folks who work at the dude ranch are all likable as a supporting cast. If it weren't for the steamy sexy scenes I could totally see this story being a Hallmark movie. Enjoy.
Opposites attract in the most delightful way......
Fated for Love is part of the Love in Bloom series, but it can easily be read as a standalone. This book features two complete opposites, Callie, a librarian and a city-girl in all ways, and Wes, a rancher and a wilderness guide. Although Wes has been visiting Callie's library for several weeks, and she is incredibly attracted to him, she knows that he would never be interested in a bookworm like her. It isn't until her friends sabotage her with a girls weekend at Wes's dude ranch that she begins to see possibilities. Wes has also enjoyed his visits with Callie, but he doesn't give a relationship with her a serious thought until she opens up to him while he guides her in various outdoor adventures. Look out because once they decide to give into their chemistry, the passion and feelings beginning flowing, and the listeners are treated to some beautiful and sexy steamy moments.
Wes and Callie basically fall in love with each other over a weekend, and that would normally seem impossible. However, that is the talent of Melissa Foster. She can make any couple falling in love not only plausible but completely believable and enviable. As with all her books, there is a deep sense of family and friendship, and this leads to some terrific interactions with secondary characters. The hiccup in the road to Callie and Wes's HEA is short-lived and easily resolved, and that aspect in another favorite of mine with a Melissa Foster book. I don't care for drama for drama's sake. I just finished Fated for Love, but I am already excited to start my next book in this amazing series.
BJ Harrison narrates most of the books in the Love in Bloom series, and he is an incredibly talented narrator. He differentiates well between male and female characters, and he adds the perfect amount of emotion to his delivery to portray the feeling without going over the top. His performance is flawless, and the sound quality of the recording is perfect. This is a highly professional and enjoyable audiobook experience.
I received a copy of this audiobook at my request in exchange for this honest review.
This is one of my favorites of the Trusty Bradens. I loved listening to it just as much as I did reading it. BJ Harrison does a great job with a Colorado Country accent.
Callie has moved from Denver to Trusty to work as the assistant librarian. She loves her books and is hoping to become the head librarian when the current one retires. Every Thursday she picks out books for Wes Braden based on what he likes to read. She can't wait for Thursday's when she gets to see him.
Wes owns a dude ranch and comes to the library on Thursdays to see Callie and get books that she picks out for him. Thursday's are his favorite day of the week because he gets to see Callie.
Callie thinks that her friends are taking her to a spa for the weekend to relax and get pampered. She is surprised when they take her to a dude ranch instead. Unprepared for a dude ranch but willing to try and face her fears, Callie decides to stay when she realizes that it is Wes's dude ranch that they are at. With the help of Wes and her friends, Callie attempts to get out of her comfort zone and face her fears. Sparks fly and Callie and Wes discover that they both have feelings for one another and decide to see where things go. When the weekend comes to an end Callie wonders if they will still have sparks when the real world sets in.
This book is sweet with lots of Heat. You will fall in love with Callie and Wes and want to go to a dude ranch for the weekend.
Wes Braden is a sweet, sexy rancher. He owns a dude ranch with a partner nearby. As a hometown boy, he’s been familiar with others in town. ;) Callie Barnes is the new assistant librarian in town. Even though she is reserved and quiet, she quickly starts turning heads in town, including the head of Wes. He starts making weekly visits to the library to retrieve books that Callie picks out for him. Both Callie and Wes look forward to the weekly visits, but neither shares those feelings with the other.
Callie’s friends tell her they are taking her away to a spa, but instead surprise her with a trip to Wes’s ranch, without even knowing about Wes. When the girls arrive, and his eyes meet hers, they are both shocked. They’ve been pushing their attraction aside for weeks, but they cannot deny it any longer. One obstacle: Callie has deep fears around many of the things involved with being on a ranch including horseback riding, deep water, and heights. Wes is drawn to Callie and wants to help her push beyond her fears, but will also do anything to make her comfortable. While working through her fears, they continue to grow closer and their feelings (and passions) bloom. Callie’s question, is this a vacation fling? What happens when they go home?
I read this book when it was first released in print. I truly enjoyed getting to remember and gain new perspective by listening to the audio version!
Can you tell I am a Melissa Foster - Braden Brother lover?
Librarian Callie Barnes has visions of reading and relaxing--and maybe having a few too many drinks--on her girls' weekend away. Her hopes are crushed when her friends pull into a dude ranch instead of a spa, and she refuses to stay longer than one night. That is...until she realizes the ranch is owned by sinfully sexy, and dangerously rugged, Wes Braden--the subject of her late-night fantasies. Boy look out!
Fearless rancher Wes Braden thinks he's the luckiest guy on the planet when the sweet, sexy librarian from his hometown shows up at his ranch. Their connection is white-hot, making it impossible for either to ignore their carnal desires. Wes is more than willing to convert sweet Callie to a world of romance, but Callie ties sex to love, and Wes avoids commitment like the plague.
Callie is thrust into physically demanding activities that ignite her deepest fears. Luckily, Wes is as tender as he is strong, and he's there every step of the way to help her find her inner strength. With Callie's influence, Wes might even discover that he's been nursing a few fears of his own. Passion pulls Callie and Wes from their safe, comfortable lives into each other's arms, and they're about to find out just how alike they really are.
I have read all the Braden’s books so far and all the Love in Bloom books. They are only getting better and better.
Wes is a confirmed bachelor until he meets Callie. I loved the hot looks in the library, the ruse of needing books to read and Callie picking them out for him, and the control they both have until they hit the ranch. I usually love the anticipation of the getting them together. With this book the anticipation was not held off for very long and I am so glad. The steam and sparks between Callie and Wes was evident from their first meeting and quickly got hotter and hotter with each scene.
My favorite part of this book was actually Callie’s girlfriends. The fact that they tricked her into going to the ranch, knowingly putting her in a position where she would be uncomfortable and forced to face some of her fears, showed how much they loved her and wanted her to step out of her comfort zone. I loved their shared laughs and private jokes. They way they could raze each other one minute and the next be laughing and smiling showed just how deep and real their friendships are.
If you have not ever read a Melissa Foster book you are seriously missing out on some amazing stories. I highly recommend her as an author and this series as a fun and easy read.
I loved, loved, loved, Wes and Callie's story. It was so romantic!! I need to find me a Wes!
Callie is new to Trusty and as soon as she sets eyes on Wes, well she becomes like a teenager whom can't really talk to her crush. That all changes though when Callie's girlfriends surprise her with a get away to Wes' dude ranch. Little does she know what she is about to endure.
Wes has had his eyes set on Callie for some time. That is why he keeps going to the library every Thursday just to see her under the guise of her picking out books for him to read. After a bit of a surprise that Callie shows up at his ranch with her friends, they are in for some adventures for sure.
Callie hates deep water, heights, guns, snakes and bugs. Yet she is out in the wilderness camping and trying all of these new things. Little did she know she actually had the drive to overcome her fears.
Wes falls hard and fast for Callie and same with Callie for Wes. These two have instant chemistry, are super hot together, and know how to have a good time. These two were meant for each other, even though they come from two very different worlds.
Fated for Love Series: The Bradens at Trusty, Book 2, Love in Bloom, Book 17 By: Melissa Foster Narrated by: B.J. Harrison
Callie is in a rut. She goes to work as a librarian, goes home, dinner, bed and repeats every day. Her friends take her away for a quick vacation, not telling her where she is going and takes her completely out of her comfort zone! At a dude ranch, she is bound to face many things she is not used to. Including the handsome Wes Braden. She sees him once a week in the library, giving him books to read. Wildly attracted to him, it's nothing like seeing him in his element. What she doesn't know is he goes to the library to see her! Will Wes be able to win her over, facing her fears and living life with her heart? What a fun listen! There is fantastic friendships and a slow burn love that had my heart. And the dog!!! The dog steals the show! Melissa Foster has me wanting to stop in Trusty to meet these people and hang out. Loving this branch of the Braden family!
BJ Harrison continues his fantastic narration of the series. I have come to know him as the Bradens and look forward to his easy pace and wonderful voices.
I had the great pleasure of listening to the audiobook for Fated for Love. This is the story of Wes Braden and Callie Barnes. Callie is a librarian and Wes owns a dude ranch with his best friend. Wes shows up every Thursday to the library for the latest thrillers to read and Callie has the books ready for him. Callie has a secret yearning for Wes. Wes has an attraction as well. When Wes asks her if she has any plans for the weekend she says her best friends are taking her to a Spa. Little does she know that the "spa" is actually thr same dude ranch that Wes owns. Her 3 friends think she needs to toughen up a little. Callie loves fairy tales books and at the ranch when they are about to ride horses, Callie's horse takes off and Wes saves her like the fairy tales. Their attraction is intense and when they finally share their first kiss....it is amazing. And when they finally give in to their desires..it is like nothing they have ever shared. Such a great story.
Ummm...I’d do dirty things with a man like Wes Braden, too. I wish their story had a novella, maybe a wedding or baby. The innocence and heat is turned up a notch.
Sweet and innocent Callie Barnes is the new librarian assistant in town who fantasizes about Wes Braden and looks forward to every Thursday, when he arrives to pick up the three books she’s picked out for him.
Wes Braden is a player, for a better sense of the term. He owns a dude ranch in Colorado where he takes groups through lessons of survival, shooting, horseback riding, etc. He’s never slept with a guest, even though many have thrown themselves his way.
When Callie’s friends surprise her with a spa trip, she’s excited to go, only to discover that it’s not a spa trip at all. They’ve tricked her into a 5 days stay at Wes’s dude ranch, fighting her fears and confronting her inner feelings for Wes.
Wes can’t help himself, and Callie can’t deny his advances. She fights her fears to spend quality time with Wes and her three best friends.

I read this book a few years ago and just recently listened to it on Audiobook. I loved it when I read it but BJ Harrison brings all the characters to life in wonderful and wickedly sexy ways. He's an awesome narrator! I love this story line and how everything happens and even the pace it happens. It was just right for Wes & Callie!!! Wes Braden is the hero of this story or maybe I should say the prince (you'll see why). He is tall, dark and handsome and sexy as the day is long. He just oozes genuine charm and is a really nice guy. I personally adore him!! And Callie, well I just love her too! She is just the sweetest until she is alone with Wes and then she becomes a little sex kitten. I love that contrast about her . She has an amazing group of friends who constantly had me laughing out loud. But let's not forget about Sweets! Love that puppy!! And of course, Wes's family is the best! Which if you've read MF's books about the Bradens, you already know!
The worst friend group ever. I hope they are not in future books. Plus they are all married and the things they said about the men on the ranch was inappropriate. If the roles were reversed and this was the husbands saying these things about women on the ranch folks would call them out on their wondering eyes and inappropriate behavior.
The way they treated the FMC was deplorable. They made fun of her and disrespected her boundaries. May this kind of friendship never find me. They have been peer pressuring her into trying to be more sexual than she’s comfortable with since her college years and no one should have to keep saying no to your friend group about sex like you do men.
There’s also fat shaming in this book by the FMC. Authors do better. People can be both overweight and attractive. The FMC has a line where she tells the MMC to get fat so he’s less attractive.
The sound of BJ Harrison narrating a Melissa Foster novel is mesmerizing. You just want it to go on and on. This is the story of Wes Braden who owns a dude ranch in the mountains of Colorado. Callie thinks she is meeting friends for a spa weekend but they have really booked the ranch with various outdoor activities that Callie is totally unprepared for. As the new librarian Callie sees Wes each week as she selects books for him. But now she is face to face with him for a whole weekend and he will see that she is afraid of everything he loves. I loved this story as you see Wes and Callie fall for each other but also the give and take of their relationship. This is a 5 star story that made me laugh out loud in some places. Kudos to both the author and narrator.
Melissa Foster has given us another winner in the story of Callie Barnes and Wes Braden. B. J. Harrison narrates this blue ribbon story with passion with the audiobook. Callie was an assistant librarian and she loved fairy tales. Wes came in the library every Thursday and he made her legs turn into wet noodles. She thought she was spending the weekend at a spa with her girlfriends. Instead of the spa, the girls take her to a dude ranch. The ranch is owned by Wes and she had fantasied about him for ages. Wes in not into commitment and Callie is faced with her fears at the ranch. She found out Wes was not only sexy and badass but also sweet and caring. Will they find a way? You must find out!
Oh my! If you aren't already a fan of Melissa Foster--you will be after this book. Whether you have read other stand-alone romances from Melissa and had a brief introduction to Wes, or are just "meeting" him for the first time, his genuine nature and big heart will reel you right in. The reader learns right away that a new librarian has moved to the small town of Trusty, and Wes is suddenly visiting the library more! I loved the narration on the audiobook--the personality of the characters really came through as he described their thoughts and actions. This was a beautiful love story to read, and I loved that the reader is clued in to a few things before the characters figure it out.
Wes Braden & his patner, Chip Cutter own a Dude Ranch, near to Trusty, Colorado. And Wes has dog named Sweets.
Wes Braden went to Trusty Library on Thursdays. Where he met Callie Barnes, assistant to woman that was in charge of the library.
Her best friends, Bonnie, Kathie,& Christine told Callie they were to going a spa. But ended up at Dude Ranch. And Wes Braden would be taking all of them on horses, for couple of days.
Her friends had the list of they be doing each day. But Callie didn't have this list.
There too characters in this book to list. But I you read good to the end!
Wes Braden is one sexy cowboy. Callie is a very demure librarian.Once a week Wes visited the library just to get a look at Callie. When her friends book a weekend away she thinks they are off to a spa, horrified she finds herself at Wes's ranch which caters for the more adventurous. Wanting to head back home she has a change of heart and try's to embrace everything that is thrown at her, this makes Wes fall in love with her even more. He shows his caring side when he arranges for a very special last night for her and her friends. This is a very entertaining book with the right amount of tears and laughter.
Callie Barnes is the local librarian. Callie believes she is going on a spa getaway with her best friends, when in fact, they are going to a dude ranch, Wes Braden’s dude ranch. They are determined to get Callie to step out of her comfort zone and face a few of her fears.
Wes doesn’t realize the group of women he’s taking on an overnight camping trip is Callie and her friends. As Wes helps Callie face her fears and they get to know each other better, the attraction and chemistry they have for one another, heats up.
Fated for Love is a wonderful story of love, friendship and finding a HEA.
And also spicy! I've heard of dude ranches, but I was never sure what they were, reference the Billy Crystal version of the concept, which I'm uncertain as to whether that's a true depiction. So, back on subject; Wes Braden runs a dude ranch. He's young, good looking and rich. Callie Barnes is the straight-laced local librarian. She hides all her light under a bushel. Her friends coerce her to be adventurous, and try new things. Wes has already been watching and crushing on Callie. The same goes for Callie. So enjoyable and romantic. Wes is the BEST at romantic gestures.
First, I absolutely loved this story. It was wonderful seeing Callie overcome her fears. Also, seeing Wes breaking all of his rules when it came to Callie was heart warming. It is a wonderful story of love, that I would listen to on the way to work, and then would have a hard time clocking in on time, because I would continue to listen after arriving. I have listened to other books narrated by B. J. Harrison, and as always, he did a fantastic job. To me, he is one of the best narrators there is. Wonderful story, outstanding author, and fantastic narrator - This is a win-win-win.
