I am not a fan of using gifs in reviews. I really am not but I feel that this one is quite appropriate.
Meg is supposed to be a lawyer but lord does she ever have TSTL moments. She thinks Greyson is a human trafficker but willing allows him to do whatever he wants to her. I'm sorry...but that's not sexy. She knows something isn't right at the club but she continues to stay there. Maybe she went to remedial law school or something because clearly she isn't the brightest bulb. But, I'm invested and I want to know what all this "devil incarnate" crap is about so I'll read the last book.

This is such a mind f!ck!!!!!! What is going on??? I'm still so hooked!! Love that this series is fast paced and doesn't contain a bunch of filler BS.

(too me adding this later book #1 does have more steam than they other books but don't let that get you silly, it doesn't mean the other 2 do not have steam, just 1 has tons more??!) they all came out in Feb 2014, I am shocked that they didn't work as 2 books, I am not sure how they decided to break it up into 3 books? I love the mystery side of the book, not that the other parts are not interesting or do not pull you in. They do for sure. I love Greyson, I tend to like the characters that most don't ...he is a totally jerk, but he doesn't tell you otherwise, u like it or don't??! what you get it there, there are no hidden mirrors. Now why I say there should be only 2 books, it seems you keep hinting around the point and where the book will head but it ending of each book kind of makes you think? Okay will I ever know the point? So glad for me personally that all 3 were out so I could see the ending. It is there. promise. If you are one who can wait, please do. so Worth IT!! I am totally new to J.S. Cooper and Helen Cooper ... not sure what they are? sisters? brothers? same person? hubby & wife? does that ever happen? that would be a cool team of writers? I will have to do my research. I am so glad I did find them and can not wait to see what else they do write. Book #1 was free at the time ...how I was sucked into the whole set. Must read. Loved it. And I would say that ending that mean book #3 has a HEA ending. check it out! ( :

I'm loved this book..second book in a series! Meg is out of work and decides to apply for a job at The Private Club..training is for three days! Meg discovers that something is not on the up and up with the club! Her room mate, Nancy is there trying find out what happened to her sister who disappeared from the club! David the head of security of the club informs Meg that he is an undercover cop trying to bring down the club for prostitution. Meg overhears a conversation between Nancy and David saying something about getting justice. Meg is now even more suspicious of what is going on at the club! To make matters worse, Brandon her best friend's boyfriend is also an owner of the club! This book has so many twists and turns, your head will spin but you will want more!

I read all three parts of this one story. It really is one book....once again.
This story is not what you think it is and yet it is. I feel as though I read a concept and someone wanted to know if they should expand. There were many opportunities for development and I wish I could love the hero more...just having him tell us how bad he was did not make it so or make us empathize with him.
Sorry....not bad writing, not a bad idea but I just did not care for this....It is an acorn, but not a tree.

I was suspicious from the start!!!!!!! And as young as Nancy is I'm still suspicious..but Greyson is a mystery to me.. is he bad or is he good? And for that matter, how is Brandon tied to this? David and Patsy are really annoying......and now the mystery begins.......where's Nancy? And who is Maria?....

Overpriced
This was a very short book only 99 pages! Way overpriced!! Looks like to read what probably should have been one book you have to buy three separate books. If I had noticed that before I bought this book I would have not bought it.

The Private Club Day Two by J. S. Cooper, Helen Cooper was just released. After reading The Private Club Three Days, part 1 in the The Private Club series I was anxious to see how the next installment played out. It ended on a cliffhanger.
Meg Riley has found herself trapped, by choice, in a world of secrets, mystery, and possibly death by remaining at training for The Private Club.
She has no clue what the club is. She suspects it could be a lot worse than she possibly imagined. She suspects it’s activities are illegal. The Club may be committing the most horrific crimes known to mankind. She suspects that there may be more than prostitution going on. The Club may be involved in human trafficking. At the same time, she is attracted to the club owner, Greyson Twining. No only is Greyson a mysterious about the club, he is mysterious about himself. One moment he seems like the Devil himself and the next moment he seems to a somewhat ordinary man with powerful ambitions. He claims women are for sex only but then contradicts himself when he is tender with Meg. She doesn’t want to be attracted to Greyson but recognizes that she has no choice in her attraction. The only thing she can do is try to control her attraction, keep her inner bearings, and not expect more than Greyson is willing to give her. She needs to keep her mind clear and her feelings hidden. It may be the only thing that will help her survive The Club.
As she tries to unravel the mysteries of the Club, she is quickly learning that she can trust no one. People are not what they seem to be. The first two installments of The Private Club series has kept me on the edge of
my seat. I can’t figure out what is going on within the walls of the club. I have no clue who is involved and who is the ultimate devil. Greyson seems to be that man, but I can’t help but like him. We see another side to his persona. He is extremely sexy and suave but at times seems to be a human man that doesn’t trust his emotions. The third installment is going to be powerful and I think J. S. Cooper is going to flip the readers minds.
This series is addicting! I love it!

**APPLAUSE!!! They did it again and I am satisfied. Very satisfied.
I looooooove where the story is going and I appreciate how these amazing authors keeps you want to read more and more chapter after chapter. I felt it in book 1 but with this installment it is even better. This short series is simply enticing and rousing. It has the right amount of thrill, mystery and hotness and given that it is a short series, it is amazing. You think that you only get this thrill and excitement in long series or novels but no, you will also get it by reading this story. I know. It is short but worth reading.
Book 2 ended in a freakin cliffhanger and I expected that. Nonetheless, it was a freakin good read. I sure want more and I hope book 3 is longer than the last 2 books. I wanna know what Greyson Twining's deal is. He is such an enigma and the bad boy that you know you want to stay away from but can't help to know more about him. And it is such an adrenaline rush to know guys like him. Dangerous, mysterious and bad. Very bad. But he is also the type most girls dream of changing into something better. The Nightingale Syndrome, that's what they call it. In reality, it is stupid and absurd but at least for this story, I am hoping Meg is that woman who will break Greyson's wall and be his Kryptonite. So we'll see... There was a line right after Chapter 5 started that I will want Greyson to take back. I want him to eat what he said and I want him to realize that he was wrong. I am so excited!!! I cannot wait to read a scene where he realizes it all and it will leave him dumbstruck. HA!
Fans of this series will definitely love this 2nd installment and like me, they will want more and if possible, want book 3 to be released next week or this month or ASAP. Hihihihihi
I am one of the new fans of these authors and I can honestly say that they don't disappoint, at least for me and for this series. :)

I LOVED THE EX GAMES by J.S. Cooper and Helen Cooper. Now the story continues as Meg, Katie's best friend, goes searching for a temporary job as a bartender at The Private Club. Is this a strip club or more?
She has now spent a whole day in the Club doing "tests". She is still not exactly sure what is going on, but it appears that girls just disappear after whatever "tests" and "training" they are given. What happened to Maria? Is she alive or dead? What exactly is going on with these bodyguards? Are they to be trusted or are they on their own mission? Is Nancy being truthful?
There is a link between The Private Club and Katie's lover Brandon. Meg discovers this immediately as she is interviewing for the job. But... what job is she really interviewing for? Greyson Whiting tells her he is keeping her for himself. This unexplainable pull she feels toward him will be her downfall... she can feel it. Yet she is unable to stay away from him. Let me just say I will never go in a shower again without thinking of the shower scene in this novella... and in the dark!
I still say it... these are some of the most erotically, mind-f***ing scenes I have ever read. There is a new shade of Grey here... and it is just as titillating! I need to remember to ask our author what kind of research she did to come up with these love scenes... THEY ARE HOT!

yeah, thats part of, hell maybe thats actually the biggest charm of Private Club. i absolutely love their chemistry. their banter, their conversation i immensely enjoyed. feels like each other finally found their match.
yet, for such a building expectation event, their first fuck is not as intense and religious experienced as i was expecting to be.
and oh. what my question in the last books review finally questioned here, lol, is it the same Maria and the timespan with The Ex Games. we have a HEA in The Ex Games, and if Brandon Hasting is really as bad as Greyson Twining then i considered it should be a continuation of The Ex Games, and to my delight there actually is, After The Ex Games. wooow.. cant wait to read it!

I was so damn excited for this book. I think i even squealed a few times. It hasn't failed to surprise me. It has left me with far more questions and hardly any answers. There has been some huge revelations,i can only see more to come.
What did happen to Maria?
is Maria really dead? if so how and why?
Is she the Maria from college?
Where has Nancy suddenly disappeared to?
What is the private club really?
What is Brandon's involvement?
Is Greyson falling for Meg?
or is he playing her?
Who is David?
is he really an undercover cop?
Personally, i don't think so. Surely an undercover cop would not blow his cover to a girl he'd only just met. i know Meg is no ordinary girl, but still it seems a little too trusting. See so many questions and no answers. I am hungry for part III.
Did Meg succome to Greyson too easily? Maybe she did but maybe she didn't. I will not judge her on it.I do wonder if Greyson did put something in her drink. I sincerely hope he didn't. I just worry she is expecting something he can't or won't give. Is she putting all her eggs in one basket? Is she wanting to fix someone who doesn't either want to be fixed or see's himself needing fixing.

Holy balls! this was so much better than the first. I am totally falling for Greyson. The relationship between him and Meg is growing into something more and I love it. These two are HOT!!!! in the first I thought these two were too much like some of Jamie's previous characters and she proved me wrong this time around! I felt totally differn't this time around. The shower scene was HOT, HOT, HOT!!! how Greyson is warming up and changing, love! we finally learn what the club does pretty much and it isn't as bad as I think. And in the end I think I finally know what is going on. But we will see, I had soo many theories throughout this book and each time I thought I was right, I wasn't. So we will have to see by the end of book 3. But I honestly do not think Brandon and Greyson are bad guys. If anything I think David and Nancy are. But again, these are my crazy theories in my head. It such an amazing read and I cannot wait for the conclusion to see if all I'm questions will be answered. Will I bet right? can Meg and Greyson, Brandon and Katie have a future? where are these girls going? is everything as it appears? CANNOT FREAKING WAIT!!!!!!!

Two Days obviously picks up where it left off from Three Days. The suspense died a bit but ultimately it had to return, because it was just too good.
Feelings are beginning to show, same goes for a few answers that asks a more acceptable detective work. Not bad, but it did finish again with something called cliffhanger...

Oh my I'm telling you this series will grab hold of you and reel you in completely. Meg is still trying to find out what actually goes on in the club. She's nowhere closer to finding out until the end of this book when Brandon shows up and tells Greyson that they need to come clean. Meg is falling more and more for Greyson. She sees two sides to him. First is the cold hearted, sexy, dark, secretive, and mysterious side. Second is the vulnerable man crushed by his mom's death, sweet, loving, caring, and passionate. But as she learns little by little more of his life she falls more for him and more confused. Her roommate Nancy has come up missing. where's is she. This book is so addicting you cannot put it down. I'm giving it five stars even though it's too short. This deserves five stars because it does what a five star read should do. It's grabs you and hooks you in until you're dying for more.

So in this story Greyson finally takes Meg -- the sex and the lead up to the sex is hot. Brandon is brought more into the storyline as well as Katie. You find out that some of the people are not who they appear to be and are lying. But you as a reader you still do not know about the club and what the club is doing. Sending girls away -- are they strippers, prostitutes, young wives for sale, there is not a clear notion of what the club does -- the testing that is done is ridiculous and gives you no clues what so ever. So I find that a bit frustrating but I guess it leaves you hanging for part 3.
This is good value for money costing a little over a buck. I enjoyed it and read this serial, short story whatever you want to call it on my ereader. I like this author and will read her work again. This is good value for money costing a little over a buck. I enjoyed it and read this serial, short story whatever you want to call it on my ereader. I like this author and will read her work again. First off I'll mention that I feel I can't fairly review this book. One of the main characters is 18 years old and I think this would be a much better read for someone 18 - 20 something age range. The story-line is for a much younger based than myself and that was my only issue with this book.
Otherwise, I did enjoy the The Private Club novellas much better than the other two novella sets that go with it. Although this is a short story, you really get a lot of background info that helps you really get to know the characters and really helps build the plot. However, I did continue on and read the novellas in the order given on Goodreads. The Ex Games novellas 1-3, then The Private Club novellas 1-3 and then The Ex Games #4 (After the Ex Games) and then The Love Trials novellas 1-3.
