“Do not by any means destroy yourself, for if you live you may yet have good fortune, but all the dead are dead like.”

“When things go wrong, you'll find they usually go on getting worse for some time; but when things once start going right they often go on getting better and better.”

“Do not dare not to dare.”

"Onward and Upward! To Narnia and the North!"Shasta is a young boy who is in a poor living situation. He thinks he lives with his father (Arsheesh) but after a nobleman tries to buy Shasta (and Arsheesh sells him quite easily), Shasta realizes that most of what he's known is a lie.
This one wasn't one of my favorite. I love the magic of the earlier books and these ones...I just kinda was glad it was over.
