A Fall From A Manor: A DCI Cieran Black Scottish Crime Thriller
DCI Cieran Black is closer than he's ever been to solving the mystery that has plagued him since his childhood as he and the closest members of his team head to a farm out in the highlands where he believes he was held captive for an entire year.
When they arrive, however, he is disappointed to find that the place has long been abandoned. But as they search the place for any hint of a lead, a scream pierces through the otherwise still air, and they leap into action.
Cieran and his team discover that the body of a well-known and highly-publicized American tech millionaire has fallen from a nearby manor's highest window, so he and his team decide to lend their expertise to the investigation.
But a simple open-and-shut case becomes complicated when it quickly becomes clear that Oliver Harkness Junior did not jump from the manor.
He was pushed.

A very decent book
A good story, a puzzle-less one though, all well telegraphed. If there is a problem with this as a tale, it is that.
The proofreader must be from somewhere they don't speak English though ! I mean, why pay one as bad as that ?

Great story and I am now so tantalisingly close to finding out what happened to Cieran and Adam. I hope it doesn’t disappoint! Need the next book now!!!
