WOW Kris Michaels has done it again! So worth the wait.
Jinx and Eira are so good together! She is the strong woman the Shadow Jinx needs! Love the new expanded stories Kris is giving us. This one has all the feels, romance and adventure needed in a 'keep you on the edge of your seat' book. Thank you again Kris for brining us into that wonderful world of Guardian. 📚💜🎉😺🔥💥

Sorry for the three stars
Why only three stars? I had a really hard time getting thru this book. I drop it and came back several times. I got tired of I don't trust you and I'm sorry I love you, the book did picked up in the middle, I feel like Kris phone this book in, Kris you need to write more books like lycos, I loved that book your best one. I read it serveral times, keep writing and I will keep reading,

much more violence than her other books, but an excellent reason for it.
This book is about an assassin, so that explains more violence. Venezuela is the mission. Jinx has left the woman he loved and the son he didn't know he had. The author did a great job of showing what it means to live in a country controlled by a drug cartel.
There are always sex scenes in her books with women who are quite comfortable saying what they want. It's been many years since I've read a book with sex scenes. Don't laugh, but I don't know these characters enough to know what they do sexually, so I skip those sections now. I did learn a new word from the first scene I read. (My husband knew what it was. Who knew?)
Kris Michaels is an excellent author. Her books are heavy on plot and characters we can love. Had a bit of a problem in the beginning feeling love for an assassin. But he wasn't a serial killer who thrived on killing innocents. He killed a few who did. I think this author struck the perfect balance of showing what an assassin does. Killing monsters is a good thing. Jinx is a protector first and an assassin second.

WOWIE!!!! WHAT A GREAT STORY!!!! 👍👍👍👍👍
What an exciting, romantic, suspenseful and action filled story this was. The storyline was unique and very enjoyable. There wasn't a dull moment! I really enjoyed the beautiful love story between Jinx and Eira immensely. It was done with Kris Michaels' usual flare. Kris has such a wonderful way with using just the right words and their love was described with such beauty, passion and deep feelings it was truly a heartwarming treat to read about, especially because even though Jinx was a hardened Guardian he had no hesitation in expressing his love and deep devotion...... Swoon!! 😍 The mission was riveting and had me on pins and needles more than once. The book had a perfect plot, woven together in such a way that by the end I felt like cheering!! Kris Michaels books just keep getting better and better and I think this was one of her best. I highly recommend this book...it was a very entertaining adventure into the Guardian world again!

Heart's trust
Eira and Mateo aka Jinx have a bidding relationship deep in the heart of the Venezuela jungle and cartel, until s$$t hits the fan and chaos ensues, cartel war had Mateo leaving when the leader was dead, thinking he was keeping Eira safe if he was gone, not knowing was the worst for both, broken hearted and worrying over the years apart, his return to finish what he started with new players now on the agenda and most of all making things right with the woman he loved, can she forgive him trust him again especially with their child now in the picture, Holy cow this book was intense, through and through, hotter than the explosions they ignited, and love truly won, Kris Michaels you have a great way with words, details, descriptions, I thank you so very much and I'm looking forward to Talon, if I could give it the100 star's it deserves I would, thank you, Dana Zamora

I might be slightly biased as I love the original Guardian series, but this newer younger generation is certainly bringing the emotion, the action, the suspense and the found family feel too.
We met a few more members of the team in this book, it wasn’t a big whole team involvement but those we met I’m excited to see more of, especially Raven.
Jinx and Eira were perfect for each other, and I loved how their relationship developed throughout the book, Jinx’s job is dark, one of Guardians best, but living in the shadows changes when he meets Eira, she is the light that he needs.
Epic love story, intense storyline, a few dark moments, I mean come on, these are our beloved Guardian assassins, Jinx is infiltrating the cartel by becoming an enforcer, tough read at times, but we also have the lighthearted moments, I’m predicting Raven’s book is going to be epic, always love the family feels, the friendship, the love and of course the good over evil.

A portal to chaos...
....to love, trust and family.
None of which Jinx ever thought was possible for him. But Eira shows him differently, she is the love of his life, she's strong, driven, feisty, protective and the only woman he has ever and will ever love. He thought he was protecting her when he left, she shows him just how wrong he was! I love Eira, she is far stronger than she ever thought she was and whilst she can be stubborn, she also sees reason.....eventually! They are so perfect for each other, he is her protector and she allows him to be the person he was before tragedy struck and Guardian threw him a lifeline.
I love this Dynasty series, we have all the "old favourites" in the support cast but also get to know, and fall for, a whole new generation of Guardians.

I always enjoy Kris Michale's books! Echoes and Oaths is no different!
This is Jinx's and Eira's story. Their connection is so strong. Destined to be together from the start. Jinx meets Eira on a mission where he is assigned to take out a dangerous cartel leader. As soon as the mission is over, Jinx vanishes, leaving Eira wondering and heartbroken... A couple of years letter he's back in Venezuela for another mission and Eira is still there... with a surprise for him.
It's a fast paced, full of action book. I read it in a day!
I'm really looking forward to the next book in the series and Talon's story.

He basically hooks back up with Eira and boy does she have a surprise for him. It's amazing how animals just slide next to him knowing he wouldn't hurt them. The situation gets hairy and Jinx sends Eira and family to safety. Jinx finishes his job with Z making an explosive statement. Jinx finally finds happiness. FANTASTIC job Kris! I would highly recommend this book! Can't wait for the next book!

Jinx, a Shadow, iss assigned to complete unfinished business. He doesn't know that there is more than meets the eye. Jinx finds that the woman he had left in cartel-infested Venezuela had given birth to his son. He also has to reconcile his absence with Eira. His mission is to eliminate two coded cartel figures. There are twists and misdirection here, but it's well done. My only disappointment is that we we still don't know who Jinx is. I expected that he was a second generation King or some other family connection, but found no evidence of this. Still waiting for more next generation members to take their places.

Kris Michaels, the woman that YOU ARE! The universe she has created with the Guardians is honestly like nothing else I’ve ever read. At this point, she could publish her grocery list and I’d read it. But honestly, if you’re looking for a multi-series universe to get stuck into, I highly recommend KM’s books. Echoes & Oaths jumps back into the Shadows, with Jinx the assassin going back to Venezuela where he spent years embedded in a cartel to take down the leader. Also where he left the love of his life in order to protect her. An incredible book and the teaser for the next one has me so excited. Second generation King!

He had a mission three years prior in the same area where he met the only woman he ever loved and after completing the first mission he disppeared thinking it would be safer for her. That was the biggest mistake of his life.
The plot is full of danger, suspense, a second chance and a beautiful young son and of course, in Kris Michaels style a happy ending in a barn full of Guardian family.

You can’t go wrong reading any of the guardian or Hollister books. This is Jinx’s story. Full of action, enduring love, and hilarious scenes at the end. Remaining true to the essence of Guardian. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and the descriptions of the Venezuelan jungle and life under a cartel so rich you could almost smell the air. The mission culmination is full of tension and plenty of explosions thanks to Z! Looking forward to Talon’s book next.

Kris Michaels never fails to hit the mark. Echoes and Oaths measures up in every way. Jinx and Eira had a thriving relationship until they didn't. He disappeared. Going back to Venezuela to clean up the aftermath of his first mission there comes with a few surprises. Mission aside, reconnecting with Eira is paramount. That is, if she'll let him. Having Raven on his six is a big plus and her snark will make you chuckle. The final mission scenes are edge of your seat worthy with Z doing what he does best. Absolutely captivating. Anothe winner!

Jinx belongs to the Shadow world. Deep undercover, a few years earlier, he meets a woman who could very well be the love of his life. Leaving her behind at the completion of his mission, feels like the right choice in keeping her safe. But soon discovers, when he returns, that he’s missed out on more than the woman he loves…😢 This book gave me all the feels and emotions, especially when I realised what it was Jinx missed🤗
I absolutely loved Eira and Jinx, but I also loved getting a glimpse into the other assassins in Jinx’s group🙌 Can’t wait for the next book❣️

This book is Kris Michaels at her best, the original reason I got hooked on her storytelling! Jinx and Eira’s story is one of tradgedy and eventually and triumph…Jinx in his work for Guardian has caused Jinx to live in isolation and after he met Eira he was afraid to to be around her and put her in danger. Kris this is the top of the peak so far as stories go. Cannot wait for the next book in this wonderful series! Thanks Kris for another great read!

Another awesome installment from Kris Michaels. This legacy series just keeps getting better. Jinx and Eira’s story was hard at times. Betrayal and loss are hard to overcome as is the fear it could happen again. Sacrifices made in the best interest of someone else without that someone else having a choice usually come back to haunt, so it was nice to see Jinx and Eira be able to put all of it behind them and make a life together. It was fun getting to know some of the other baby shadows too. Can’t wait for the next story!

Her Best
I think this is Khris Michael's best book to date. If you don't read any of her other books I would read this one. You might be a little confused on some of the names but it doesn't matter that much. I enjoyed that it was more PG13 than R or X rated. Her books are a bit much for me in that realm. As with most of her books her metaphors and similes are a bit overdone and trite but overall I think this book had the most depth of any of her books. I have not really enjoyed the other books in this series but this one was stellar.

Kris Michaels' second generation series may be better than the original. Well, except Jacob and Gabriel which happen to be my personal favorites. Lots of groveling in this one -- and rightfully so. Rich characters and the more you read about new characters the more you want to know their stories too.
If you like action-packed stories with deep emotional ties, this is a book -- and a series -- for you.

Jinx has been sent back to Venezuela. His mission ended two years ago. But unknowingly he left more than his heart behind. Eira was left behind when he left with a lasting memory. He is back to stop an elusive ghost from taking over the country. These two people will have to figure out if his mission and their own relationship be able to get the ending that is destined.

Jinx\Mateo Rivas. Eira Isacsson. Mateo took down a dangerous drug cartel lord. As blood and death happened around him he made the decision to !save his heart behind. For her safety. Now he was back and fighting to win her back. And another drug cartel leader. His back ups are Raven and Z. They each are awesome. Cannot wait to read Ravens story!!!! Fury. Still my second favorite.

No plot spoilers, no potential triggers.
If you are a fan of romance, intrigue and danger you would probably enjoy the book.
Well written characters with a good plotline makes for an engaging read.
I would recommend reading the series in order, right from the beginning of Guardian, to obtain the best reading experience, it's always nice seeing original characters popping up too!

I would recommend reading the series in order, right from the beginning of Guardian, to obtain the best reading experience, it's always nice seeing original characters popping up too!

Let me say that Jinx characters is so amazing mt heart just was captured by him so much. His struggles his wants and his regret but then he was call back to face all of this. Eira was a anazon strong women who had been hurt so bad by the men she loved. She wasnt sure she coukd ever trust him again. She loved him so much but no way did she trust him. Then the surprise that wait for jinx when he returned was so precious can wait to read more

What an Exciting Story !
Kris Michaels has surpassed all my expectations with Jinx and Eira’s love story.
Her stories and characters are so real and believable. The suspense was out of control and scary good. Kris has done it again. I love how her brain works and her story telling.

Kris Michaels has a gift in storytelling weaving action, suspense, and day to day living seamlessly. I have loved the Guardian World she has created and am enjoying the stories of their future. Guardian Security Dynasty. Cannot wait until Talon story releases!!

Liked but not loved this book of the series which is a shame as l had been waiting months to read it. Didn’t flow for me. Too much time spent on the farm rather than expanding the plot. Sorry, Kris Michael’s is one of my favourite authors but this one fell a little flat. However still pre-ordered the next instalment .

Echoes and Oaths
