I will admit that poetry isn't really my thing, but even I can see the love, sweat, and tears poured into these poems. Dedicating this collection to our dear friend Kanasy was such a wonderful gesture, even if she never got to see it. This book is a miracle in many ways and I am sure many will be blessed by it.
Disclaimer: this review is not being influenced by that fact that I’m one of the authors and compilers
I know how much work and struggles this book has been through to be published, and the fact that it's actually a real book now is absolutely only by God's grace.
From an influential team member stepping down to hiring four new people. From dedicating it to Kanasy to all of our street team emails. From so many FaceTime calls to late nights. From text messages to formatting in pages. From choosing a new marketer to her deciding not to join a few days after. From everyone's busy lives to picking another new marketer. From getting a premium website plan to hiring two new designers. From rejecting and accepting to editing every single one of them.
I helped go through submissions, and let me tell you, a lot of care and thought of which poems to accept. The time and effort that was put into this book is beyond my personal expectations when I first got the idea of doing a poetry anthology.
Overall, we pray that this anthology impacts and blesses read for generations to come.
