This is so bad and not even for the reason you might think
This isn't just daddy kink, it's DD/lg and very deep forced age play.
While I like the former, I haven't gotten much into the latter. But I was curious and since I went in with my eyes open, the rating has nothing to do with the kinks at all.
My reasons for disliking this are actually much more mundane.

not the usual “daddy” dom
I found this book on TikTok and thought it was the normal “daddy” kink but it is wayyyyy worse. The book started out ok but by 10% I had a suspicion that this book was not about the normal dom daddy that I was use to. I’m not here to yuck anyone’s Yum but the way he wanted her to wear a literal diaper is disturbing and I couldn’t finish the book. I skipped all the way to the end just to leave the review. Idk how this book has so many 5⭐️ but if I could give this -⭐️ I would. The blurb about this book didn’t not prepare me for what I read.

What in the fuck did I just read?
I am not even sure why I finished this one, and I'm really not proud of myself for doing so. It was like a fucking train wreck and I couldn't look away.
This book delves into some pretty fucked up kink and it definitely isn't consensual at the beginning. There was no conversation if it was something the FMC was into or not. The MMC basically sets up the FMC and extorts her into "agreeing" to conform to his chosen lifestyle, knowing full well that it was all his doing. He knew he "wanted" her a year in advance and basically stalked her until he could make it happen. And the MMC forces the FMC to do a LOT of things ... that she definitely didn't want and repeatedly told him so. But he had decided that he wanted her and was going to be forcing her to accept that she was his "little girl" for forever. Thankfully it works out for her and she ends up enjoying it. But the lack of conversation and the expectation that she would just do whatever he wanted without question was intense.
It definitely isn't the typical daddy/little scenario, so I would for sure take the authors warning at the beginning of the book seriously. Or ... maybe just don't read this one.

Once again I’m a sucker for social media marketing. I laughed at the author’s marketing for this book (and sorta cheer her on for being silly and taking a leap to make a very low budget fancy office).
Confessing that I read this book makes me think I probably should consider making my goodreads private at this point but what’s the fun in that!
If my coworkers find this just know I love reading the books people spend energy writing and marketing.

Absolutely not. I am all for trying books with different tropes but this one was a giant hard pass. He makes her wear a nappy and a onesie like a literal child and talks about how it’s best she gets used to it quickly. Solid no from me. This is straying into the fantasies of people that I do not want to associate with.

What an incredible story! Holy hotness! I’ve been anxiously awaiting Maxwell and Victoria’s story and it is so well worth the wait! I love stories about Daddies and Little girls and this one ticked all my boxes. Maxwell is a wealthy businessman who has a new venture along with some close friends. He is looking specifically for his Lg and finds her in Victoria. He’s devious in how he gets her to play along and I loved every minute of it. Victoria has no idea what’s in store for her, but as she embarks on this journey, she discovers things about herself that she never thought possible. Maxwell is bound and determined to make her his and never want to leave him. Let’s also mention their chemistry is so hot my fingers burned as I turned the pages! What I enjoyed about this first story in this new series is that you get to meet so many intriguing characters. I can visualize each one getting their own story, and I certainly hope so! There is so much to love about Maxwell and Victoria that you will fall in love with them just like I did!

SO ITS WEIRD. And I’m familiar with the concept of little space but that was verging on the line of perhaps pedophilia.
Here’s what’s WRONG:
1# He puts her in a diaper and actually expects her to use it- AND gets disappointed and makes her feel bad she’s using the toilet instead.
2# Gentle parenting? What’s that? When you can spank your sub every time she voices her emotions or put boundaries. Seriously, it’s too much spanking! Every time she’s supposedly out of line she gets hit and then cradled like nothing happened. Toxic cycle? Manipulation? Brain washing? ✅
3# She did not know what she was getting herself into until she was on the island WHICH SHE CANT LEAVE. Bcs yes, this is also kidnapping in a way, she never had the option of not going with him. Concent REVOKED🚫
4# The number of enemas she had to endure?? Cause why tf is he so interested in putting things in her butt?
5# Everyone shares/watches her get humiliated. Which okay, is a normal kink, but the way it’s played out gave me such a weird icky vibe. When I read the description I understood I was getting into dark and weird, but nothing could have prepared me for whatever this series is. Is it my fault for finishing it? Yeah, a bit. But a CONTENT WARNING would have stopped me from writing this review, because I never would have opened it in the first place. If I could give it zero stars I would. If you need me I'll be scrubbing out my eyes and brain with bleach.

DNF - WTF did I just attempt to read?
First, I get what the author was trying to do, honestly though there is nothing that can redeem it. “DEVIOUS” being in the title doesn’t allow the author to create an abuse situation for the sake of “adoration”.
1) Relationships in the BDSM world should start with CONSENT, not manipulation and FORCED CNC. When authors do this it sets up unrealistic conditions and gives the absolute WORST IMPRESSION of what any BDSM relationship is. They start with consent, conversation, and communication - not kidnapping, not Dubcon, not manipulation (this in of itself is HUGE you have to TRUST the other person).
2) With absolutely no consent immediately the “little girl” is punished for everything even when they continue to set her up in situations that she doesn’t understand or is FEARFUL OF. This reeks of abuse, not teaching ABUSE. If you don’t know or understand the dynamics DON’T write about. This sets up the reader to feel that it’s ok, when it’s not.
3) I don’t give a single care that this is a “popular” author in this genre. I will continue to call out theses behaviors because it’s not acceptable. This book is a mixture of “Master/Slave” and “Dd/lg” dynamics with manipulation to create dubious consent and is written by someone who obviously doesn’t actually know the dynamics.
4) Every BDSM relationship is different, but creating scenarios like is not a healthy way to present the dynamic. I don’t understand why everyone of these authors thinks that to get a “little girl” to accept the dynamic they must always be treated like a “baby” — diapers, bottles, etc. Littles vary in age and in most cases the little girls, unless known to be baby to 2, are actually in the 3-5 range and prefer to be treated like that and not a baby. Stop working from a script, get an education on the dynamic first as well as how real relationships of this nature progress and look.

Okay, okay, okay, let me explain. Putting aside the obvious like the fact that this was just a weird read, and the topic makes my skin crawl. This book sucks. Look I don’t want to yuck someone’s yum, but I feel like I draw the line at forcing people into kinks that they don’t even know about simply because you think they might be into it. Maxwell forced Victoria into age play, gave her no other option or knowledge, and made her a participant to this lifestyle. Not only is she learning how to “fall into her role” with Maxwell, but everyone else in this island is also part of this lifestyle and forcing it on her. It’s like everyone else is in on it, except her, but they all expect her to just adapt within hours or get disciplined even though she knew nothing about this kink prior. Also she is never given a break from little space. She is forced to be in it all the time, and although I don’t know much about ddlg, i know enough about kinks to know that you need to be able to breakout of a scene. There is only so much a person can take. I feel like any sane person would crack under those circumstances. Another thing, why does everyone get to be a participant into Victoria’s role? The book was promoted as fmc and mmc, but it felt like there were so many people involved, especially when it came to her discipline, i mean even the driver got to sneak in a spank. So what’s up with that?!?
Overall wouldn’t recommend, not because I disliked ddlg relationships prior to this book, but because consent just wasn’t there at all, and no matter what the kink is, consent should be the bare fucking minimum.

Captivating first book on a Daddies and Little series that will captivate readers
A simply wonderful read about the DD/lg community and it takes us to maxwell Stone a multi-million-pound business owner who along with his closest like-minded adopted family have found an island that they have turned into a home for themselves and likeminded individuals who want to live this life.
Maxwell Stone has been watching Victoria Rose one of his employees for quite some time, he knows that she is his little girl and he weaves a plot that will capture her in his web. He calls her his little thief after she stole money and transferred it into a personal account, now she has to stay with him for 31 days or go to prison.
Victoria decides that she will accept his terms and will trave with him to the island he calls home and stay there for the agreed period, he will live the life he has been dreaming of and there is nothing more that he wants than to have her in his life forever which is something he fails to tell her.
This is a captivating read and you will love the Aunts and Uncles that are Maxwells adopted family who are all also waiting to find their own special little girl.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

Maxwell Stone and his friends have a plan. Create a safe island for their littles. They first have to find theirs. Victoria has hit the jackpot. She was able to funnel $1 million from Stone Industries. Problem is, Maxwell knows all about it. But he isn’t cruel. They strike a deal that will keep her out of jail for 30 days and she gets to keep the money and more. I have to say I thought it was interesting. But some parts were a bit cringe worthy. I know Max sees Victoria aka Tori his baby and he wants to spoil her. But the way he went about it was rather underhanded. This island is for those that want to be themselves, to enjoy their kink in the open without finger pointing. I get that. We have: Evan, Jasper, Gideon, and Catherina all looking for their little one to spoil. Max is a bit too strict with his rules. He couldn’t honestly think Tori would just fall into this new world. He pushed her too hard too fast. I would think it would take a bit longer to settle into it. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the story. It was different. I think Max needs to loosen up a bit as Tori gets more comfortable with their dynamic. I look forward to reading about what happens with Jasper and Juliet aka Juju. That should be interesting. I’m sure she is going to be in for a major shock.

What an amazing steamy start to a series that I can already tell I’m going to fall in love with I all characters I have met so far and can’t wait for more! I knew I would be hooked instantly with the boss/ employee vibes especially how they interact with each other deeply inner self. After so long of having to deal with a hard life I’m really happy that Maxwell didn’t give up on Tori. I personally loved his caring attitude to me I think he used in some form cnc on her cause he knew what she wanted even though for her it was subconsciously desires. The choice family is so close I love that they do anything for one another I can’t wait to see how all the future littles interact with each other and what kind of trouble they’ll come up. This is definitely a fantastic fast paced read with different conflicts, self Discovery, heartfelt feelings in my opinion especially for me. Tori is strong willed person who is not afraid of saying her thoughts when it comes to what Maxwell wants to do and teach her how bad can 31 days be? Find out for yourself how lovely, crazy, entertaining trouble this lady can get herself into with all stubbornness! I’m so happy with is read I want more right away:)

It's no coincendence that Victoria ends up at the mercy of Maxwell. She was a very bad girl.
You really get a good feel for the internal struggle she has as new, dark, kinky things are introduced. I understood that feeling of betrayal from your own body when you don't want to admit how pleasurable certain things truly are. Victoria's strong will helped her though. The author did a great job describing the feelings she went through. It's relatable how tough it can be for a strong willed person to truly let go and submit to the darkest parts of themselves.
As for Maxwell, he is definitely charming and dangerously devious. I loved how he handled Victoria, even though I probably shouldn't with certain things. There's a reason it's a dark romance after all. He knows what he wants and goes after it the only way he can think. I love how he does it honestly. Very clever. Getting to see some of his"family" introduced was really nice too. The characters are easy to love and I hope we get to see more of them.
Seeing the depth of connections and all the details the author gives makes this a great read. I didn't want their story to end.

también había leído que la comparte con sus amigos y personal que trabaja en su casa pero pensé que lo hacían de otra forma,, capaz yo soy peor que la autora. de verdad me gustó la relación de ellos y esto de qué él era muy protector no posesivo de ella, sabía que aunque tuviera momentos con otros su favorito era él.
lo que no me gustó es que no se besaran aunque entiendo tiene que ver con este kink que se llevó al extremo, también que no fueran a ese especie de zoológico pero creo que ya era todo muy raro y lo dejó ahí el concepto por arriba.

This is a very detailed story of Victoria’s regression to become Maxwell’s baby girl after he makes her an offer she really can’t refuse. Maxwell is a bit of an enigma, is he a Daddy in search of his own Little or an extreme example of a predatory stalker? There are many “icky” moments of very dubious consent, however through these moments Victoria does learn some very surprising things about herself! While the story has many sweet moments they seem to always either precede or immediately follow a very stern disciplinary session. All scenes are very erotic, extremely graphic and absolutely nothing is considered taboo or left to the imagination. Despite exploring every conceivable aspect of the kink, the author still manages to hold something back for the last chapter. A well thought out progression and regression of Victoria to become Maxwell’s perfect little baby girl. It is also a very Machiavellian tale. Will be especially enjoyed by enthusiasts of the ABDL kink. 5 STARS

This story is the true definition of ‘dark age play’. There are so many red flags it could be a circus but there won’t be any stuffies or sweet hair brushing with this one… and yet, I couldn’t put it down.

This is a daddy book full blown. Baby girl romance or in this case little thief. This is Maxwell Stone and Victoria Rose Finch’s story. This is a 24/7 daddy book. Victoria stole a cool million from Max but he set her up for her to steal the money. He blackmails her into going to the island in return for not calling the police.
There are 4 daddies Max Stone, Gideon Drake, Evander Hawthorne, Jasper Blackwood and 1 woman Catharina Montgomery all billionaires with daddy kinks and I think they will all have books. At least I hope so. They own an island with shoppes, doctors, spas etc. All the people that are on the island have been thoroughly vetted for the daddy theme.
All in all, I enjoyed reading this book and I already have the next book on my kindle waiting to be read.

When I first read one-star reviews, I thought it couldn't be that bad. I was wrong—so very wrong. I read a lot of DDLG books, and I found that this one is really misleading. And I thought it was low-key abusive because in multiple séances and chapters, she (Victoria) says that she doesn't want to do something or that something really hurts her. And what did her supposed Daddy do? He spanked and threatened her so that she would see his way. And let's not forget that their whole "relationship" started with blackmail. If I could give a lower rating, I would. Although I'm all for DDLG, this ruined it for me, and it creates a misconception of what this lifestyle and dynamic are. And don't even get me started on the doctor, if you could even call him that. What he did is not only malpractice, but quite honestly, sexual assault. This is all I could say without breaking this book down, so all I say is heed this warning, really read the TW, and be sure that you can stomach it.

If you enjoy DDlg books you're likely to be familiar with Stella Moore. Daddy Devious is the first book in her new incarnation as Sadie Minx - still DDlg, but darker.
I enjoyed this book and loved the characters. There was still the fun and joy that I've come to associate with Stella Moore Littles, and the premise was definitely interesting. I loved that Victoria was open to exploring this side of herself and Maxwell absolutely knew what he wanted. Which also gave me a moment of pause. I understand the work that Maxwell put in to have Victoria in the position he wanted, but the story hinted that it was more than just normal deviousness, and that gave me a moment of pause.
Overall, I really liked and enjoyed this book, but it left me with questions.

Straight out of your secret fantasies!
I love the start of a new series, the setup, the character personalities, the plotlines and locales. This one does not disappoint.
Maxwell certainly is not all he seemed at the beginning, I appreciated his motives behind his methods. Less left to chance. A man who knows what he wants, and makes sure he gets it, at any cost.
I enjoyed the ride I took vicariously through Victoria's psyche as she came to terms with what she fundamentally needed. Even with all the humourous bits, I was still shocked by what she endured (but secretly craved). Daddy knows best.
The wait for the next book of this series is going to seem endless. I am so ready to dive into the intricacies of island life.
