Yay! Chase is back! And Liam of course… Can't forget our Liam, who was left in a bit of a 'OMG!!' Situation last time we saw him. Things ended on a real cliffhanger and I wasn't sure where J.J was going to go, with the way she ended it... there were lots of scenarios going through my head at the end, but did I expect it to be what it turned out to be! Not on your nelly!! You see that's what I really like about this series, it’s surprising. There are elements in it that we're all used to seeing in most romances, the sort of tried and tested plot bunnies that we all expect. The love/hate relationship, the misunderstandings, dancing around each other style sexual tension, will they/won't they? Done well, all those work anyway but then Ms Scotts just turns it around a bit by throwing these little odd shocks and surprises in that keep all of us who've got hooked on Chase and Liam's story, coming back for more.

Not saying what happened, but once Liam is rescued from his predicament this instalment does what we've all been waiting for and turns up the heat with a proper sizzling sexual encounter between the two of them that's been simmering and steaming since the first time they set eyes on each other, and WOW it had me turning the air con down to freeze! Oh. My, Goodness.... When Liam and Chase finally do the horizontal mambo, it’s like "AYE CARAMBA!!!!" It certainly got my maracas shaking!

OH MY! Yes you did Liam! Now that's what I call worth waiting for...

But, she does it again doesn't she? There's yet another surprise ending but this time the plot twist takes the story in another direction that I didn't see coming. Not so much a nail biting cliffy this time, more an emotional one and once more I'm left desperately hoping that number four won't be that far away.

This isn't a long review because these books are pretty shortish so it’s getting now that too much info will just reveal far too much. But if you're following it, you'll be glad to see there's a visit from everyone who we've got to know up to now ... including Eli and Mr 'Snobby' Landon, who was a bit more subdued in this, and Nicole (like her) and Josh (love him)...the Preston siblings, although I'd say that all their involvements are more fleeting this time because after the reveal and rescue at the beginning, this episode is more focused on Liam and Mr 'sex on a stick' Chase, who, I will say, does show a different side of himself, in more ways than one! Is he actually starting to thaw? Well see for yourselves...

There's also a couple of new characters to stir it up a bit, and one happens to be Felix, yet another member of the Preston family. Will we meet them again or is that it? Hopefully one of them now is getting what they deserve but I think there might be more from Felix. What his part will be I don't know, he's another not so loveable persona, so is he going to be trouble? Who knows, he might well have played his part now. Hmmmm, it’s all about the waiting with this serial series, but that's another reason I'm enjoying it so much. Keeps you on your toes does that JJ!

So that's it really until next time. Another short but fun, sexy read. Are tides changing? Find out when you tune in next time....same place, same channel! For more Chase...and Liam... filled adventures!

I just have one complaint about this book: it's too short!!! Forgetting that little detail, I have to say that this series is fantastic!

When I received the ARC I started it as soon as I could, and I didn't put it down until the last word! Chase and Liam, are characters that enthrall me, and I can't get enough... that's why my complaint! I wanted to "see" more of them, I wanted the after conversation... instead we get another cliffhanger, that leaves me craving for the next book! That only shows how brilliant is the writer!

So please JJ, hurry with the next book... please!!!!

♥ `•.¸.•´ ♥ º ☆.¸¸.•´¯`♥ Chase & Liam are back :) ♥ `•.¸.•´ ♥ º ☆.¸¸.•´¯`♥

So, Liam has finally met yet another member of the Preston family.
And wow, I did not see that coming. I think I did not see a few things coming here..

With this installment more and more pieces slowly come together and I am even more intrigued with Chase. It was also nice to see how Liam crawls out of his shell little by little. And for once there was an actual steamy scene between the two of them! Yay! I feel like celebrating =D

While I enjoy the characters and bits and pieces of this series, it still feels a little all over the place and I wonder just when it will stop making my head spin. I honestly think it would have been more enjoyable to read all installments in one go, in one single book. Maybe that’s just me though :)

Thank you J.J. Scotts for giving me the opportunity to read and review with an ARC !

With Chase-Book 3 in The Chase Series by J.J. Scotts!

The sexy story of Chase and Liam continues in this third installment and I recommend that you read Books one and two in the series to fully understand the complex relationships between these men.

Liam was hired to act as the face of author Chase Preston. At the beginning he thought it was a great idea working for Chase but now things have taken a different turn. Liam is always trying to find more information about his employer and the real Chase and not the one he portrays to the world. Now he is wondering if the sexual high tensity attraction between them is real or just another game for Chase to put his employee through. Liam has many rules that he must abide to while working for Chase and one night he breaks them by following Chase. Liam follows him to a club that seems harmless, that is until he meets this crazy woman who knows exactly who he is. Now Liam is worried that his cover has been blown and what will the ramifications be. It looks like Liam has entered into a dangerous situation and will his good looks and charm be enough to save him from what is about to go down!

What I loved about this story and the previous two books is the slow build up of an emotional and sexual connection between these two sexy men. I loved how the author has developed these characters and the chemistry they face between them. Chase is at times a hard person to love but you know that it's just a wall he keeps up to protect himself from the outside world and it's up to Liam to tear that wall down with everything he has in him. Liam wakes up in The Four Seasons Hotel and realizes that he has been taken or kidnapped by the crazy bitch Julia from the club, and this is all due to Chases brother Felix .This is when all hell breaks loose. The author introduces a new character of Felix which is Chase's brother and trust me he is not as likable as some of the others but well written. I will not be giving away any spoilers as this book is too well done to ruin it for the readers.

J.J"s detailed writing about these fascinating characters is so beautifully done. I am so addicted to the beautiful writing of J.J. Scotts and how she takes us into such deep emotions of her story is simply amazing. The sex scenes needs to be addressed in a big way as they are so crazy hot and so well written that the build up to the scenes will set your ereader on fire. She doesn't use the typical and blatant sex terms that some authors use but a very sensual and high intensity love scenes that you will never want to end. I found myself rereading these scenes over and over as they were so beautifully written and filled with the most intense sexual connection between two hot men that I have read. I highly and I mean highly recommend J.J. Scotts books of The Chase Series.....With Chase! If you like reading about beautiful love, hot and sensual sex scenes, drama, intrigue, suspense and emotional build up, then this is the book for you!!!!

4.5 Stars ~ I was very excited when J.J. Scotts notified me that the third installment in the series 'Chase' was coming out. I had so enjoyed the first two books and each one left me wanting more. The author gave glimpses into Liam and Chase's characters, but not enough to fill the craving, so each new release I was hoping for more. It was with no small amount of excitement that I opened 'With Chase' especially considering the cliffhanger I'd been left dangling on.

Well, Liam can sure get into some serious trouble when he follows the real Chase to a secret underground club only to end up kidnapped by some twisted blonde bimbo. Liam is really reconsidering this job of acting as the "face of reclusive author, Chase Preston", since it hasn't gotten him a whole lot except being attracted to Chase, himself, and arguing with him, constantly. The psycho blonde and her reasoning behind kidnapping Liam/Chase and threatening to kill him…well, I'm not telling why. I can say that rich people have too much time on their hands and they're all crazy.

Another excellent addition to the series, but too short! I'm not telling about any possibility of sex in this book, you're going to have to buy and read it. But, on the off chance that Liam and Chase might've had sex, it was smoking hot, but I'm not saying. As usual the author left me on a bit of a cliffhanger and I'll need to wait, oh so patiently, for the next installment. Great job again, J.J.!

This book is a great addition to the Chase series. I really love following Liam and Chases story, and at lest for me, it keeps getting better and better.

With Chase is the longest book in the series so far, and it is probably my favorite one thus far. We get some progress in their relationship and a little more emotion too. It's nice to see that they are taking things a bit further and it doesn't feel overly rushed either, which is always a good thing.

We also meet a new character in With Chase. Felix, Chases older brother, is not a very likable character. Things could change, I guess, but I don't see myself really liking him. The way he talks about Chase makes my blood boil every time I think about it. But it does spark a change in Liam and Chases relationship, so maybe others won't feel the same way about him.

Overall, this is turning out to be a really fun series and I am enjoying following these characters. Hopefully there will be a lot more to come from them in another book or two (or maybe more).

The story of Liam and Chase continues in this installation. Liam wakes up to discover that he has been kidnapped by a disturbed woman he met at the club and things spiral out of control quickly. What I absolutely love about this story is the slow build of deep emotion between Liam and Chase, the attraction is evident from the very beginning but I don't think either one of them knew the depth of their feelings for one another. As a matter of fact they totally dismissed each other.J.J. Scotts really knows how to hook a reader and make them beg for more. And just when I thought they would have a happy ending life gets in the way. I'm really, really hoping another book is coming after this one because this series is so great I need more.

The first thing I have to say is J.J. Scotts is a bit devious. Book 1, Being Chase, and Book 2, Following Chase, both ended with my face in horror and something along the lines of "NO!!!! You can't end a book like that!!!!" running through my head, followed by perhaps one or two words that my father would be proud to hear my say, and my mother, not so much. Thank goodness Ms. Scotts has not left us waiting interminably for Book 3.

That being said, I have loved this series from the very beginning. Chase is a rather intriguing character. You really have a hard time liking him initially, but as you get to know him a little, and the people he has around him, you start to, if not understand him, at least see that he is really a good guy at heart. And Liam, well, he is an entirely different character. You love him from the start, and feel bad for his circumstances, and the fact that he is in an uncomfortable situation.

Now, I will not give spoilers, however if you haven't read books 1 and 2, you may want to skip ahead just a bit. It would be hard to do this review without giving away something from the first two books. So, I will assume you have read them and move from there. At the end of book 2, Liam finds himself in a rather precarious position. That is where book 3 picks up. Liam awakening to find his (**spoiler right here if you haven't finished book 2!!!!) kidnapper standing there with quite an agenda. I will not give anything else away, but let's just say A) the kidnapper is bat shit crazy and B) we meet another of Chase's relatives, this one not quite as likeable as Nicole and Josh.

Side note: I saw this book, in my mind, a bit like a two act play. The "situation" and the "follow up event".

As the situation continues to unfold, Liam becomes a pawn in another's game merely for Being Chase. The end of the situation comes following some rather unpleasant times and Liam ends up injured. He is then transported to a private hospital room for his care.

The follow up event is where it gets pretty damn HAWT. :) Chase shows up at the hospital and all hell breaks loose. Well, let's just say Liam may have broken through Chase's walls.

Nothing I like better than a long, drawn out bedroom scene and Ms. Scotts provides one in spades. I realized when I was nearly done with the book that I was reading merely for enjoyment, based on the fact that I didn't highlight any quotes until I was nearly finished. Not because there weren't any but because I was just reading to enjoy the read.

Of course, we are left with a cliffhanger, although not quite to the extent of the last two books, as I believe Ms. Scotts is planning about six books total in the series.

My final determination, if you like some HAWT M/M scenes grab this book when it releases on Monday 4/28.

With Chase receives 4.5 stars.

Short, Sexy and S.T.E.A.M.Y!! I’ve read all three books so far in this series and they just keep getting better.

Liam Collins has spent the last several months getting to know Chase Preston inside and out. He was hired to play Chase as a public persona for various reasons. Required to move in to Chase’s home, the two have gotten on each other’s last good nerve more often than not. But there is something between them that has been growing and simmering just under the surface.

After a recent argument, Liam breaks the rules and follows Chase to a seedy night club where he’s kidnapped by Chase’s older brother’s psychotic ex-girlfriend. Tied up in a hotel room with a crazy woman pointing a gun at him, Liam’s more worried about how Chase will react to all this. And when Chase’s brother shows up, will he blow Liam’s cover?

Liam has been trying to figure Chase out from the start, the man runs hot and cold and his flip is so easily switched, Liam never knows which Chase he’s going to get. Well, let’s just say the thought of Liam being hurt brings on a side of Chase we have yet to see. Everything up until now has been leading up to the events in this book. It is sexy, passionate, sensual, steamy and toe curling! I’m pretty sure that these two are falling in love, if they haven’t already fallen. The push and pull between them coupled with the intense attraction provides for some very entertaining reading.

Damn you JJ Scotts for leaving us with that ending! How long do I have to troll amazon for book 3 is my question. I highly recommend this series, but start at the beginning. I stated in my review of the first book that it was a little slow in places, and book two aggravated the piss out of me because they still didn’t get together. It was well worth the wait though, I assure you. Scotts writing gets better with each twist in the story of Liam and Chase.

I received an ARC in exchange for a honest review.

I absolutely love this series even through each installment is always too short for my likening, but I must say they always pack a punch. You are as a reader are as confused, infuriated and infatuated with Chase as Liam is with him. With what little we still know about him. I feel like a total addict for this series. I can't just read one. I brought Book 1 and love it but felt like a rabbit and the author is just dangling a carrot in front of my face. Just when I'm about to take a nibble, the book ended and I scream and curse myself for getting so involve in a book. I was not going to buy book 2 (bought it yesterday and love it) anytime soon for my sanity. But I got an opportunity to read an advanced copy of the third book and jump on that opportunity so fast after last week declaration. Book 3 is definitely the best so far and hopfully as for however long this series continues that it continue to get better and better.

Book three start off where Book two left off. This book was more funny then the previous book. I love Chase and Liam in this book. Chase was little bit less arrogant and showed that his actually cares for Liam . Liam interaction with the crazy princess and Chase's brother was just funniest bits in the book. I have one thing left to say is that I'm watching you Eli. That man is little to comfortable around Liam. I like that this the author seems to know what she wants to do with this series. That each book matters and each book is building to something. Although I might complained about the length at times. I think ultimately it is a good thing. You get to savor each book and interaction. You not overwhelmed about everything and become forgetful about Liam and Chase's beginning.

Wow! Scotts just keeps getting better and better. These days, her writing style suits me perfectly. Where once her descriptions were way over done, and I found her word choices a bit grating, I now see her descriptions as very rich. They flow beautifully and are a pleasure to read.

In many m/m stories, I roll my eyes over the plethora of nouns the authors use to describe the male anatomy. It almost seems like they’re in a contest to see how many different words they can employ. Not Scotts! (Thank you!) She calls a spade and spade, and it makes the story and the characters thoughts seem so much more natural, more male. She is quickly becoming a favorite.

Serials are not always my favorite reads. I often forget the details of the previous book by the time the next one comes out. This is not a problem with Scotts. She doesn’t allow much time to lapse between releases, and she does a wonderful job of recapping previous events in a very natural, non-obvious way.

Book #2, Following Chase, did a nice job of developing characters and setting up the sexual tension between Liam and Chase. All of that comes to a head in this read. With Chase is angst-filled and very steamy. There are some great wishful and actual scenes between these two men.

The ending of With Chase is more dramatic than the previous books. I was expecting a cliffhanger of sorts but not the one we got. I anxiously await book #4, and fortunately with Scotts, I know the wait won’t be too long.

Liam woke up and found out he was taken to the Four Seasons Hotel for nothing less than a bitch crazy rich - Julia Hamilton -, which was dumped by the eldest Preston brother, Felix. She requires him to go there or she'll shoot "Chase".
Felix appears at hotel but when he fights to disarm Julia, the gun shoots Liam.
He goes to the hospital and when he wakes up, one by one of the team is arriving: Landon and Eli, Felix , Josh and Nicole, finally Chase, which already starting to fight with the older brother for allowing one of his many discarded women hurting Liam.
In exchange for telling truths in the face one another, Felix disdains Chase's work saying he's "just" a writer.
Liam takes Chase' side and defends him in front of everyone vehemently, which ends up creating a general surprise.
Back to Chase's penthouse, at night, for the first time, they have their love night.
The next day Liam receives some news that may hinder his future working for Chase....

And when I thought their story would end, here comes another sequel.
Please! Do you want to kill me in anguish? Now I have to wait months to next book????

Chase and Liam finally begin to be fine together, and their love scene is so beautiful.
I want to know how this new information will affect their lives.

Let's wait>>>>>

Chase and Liam are back and hotter than ever!

This installment ups the drama factor again. We get more Preston family members, a bat-shit crazy ex-girlfriend, a kidnapping and gun fire! With all of that you just know the sexual tension is going to shoot off the Richter scale, and Scotts doesn't disappoint.

The last book ended with a kidnapping and that's where this one starts. Which leads to the introduction of another Preston sibling and a trip to the hospital. There feels like there is more that just sibling rivalry going on between Chase and Felix but like all of the installments to this story we are left to wonder just what that may be.

While we didn't get a lot of insight into Chase's personality and why he acts the way he does we did get to see a softer sexier side to him. I know I am really ready to find out his back story.

Liam is growing more comfortable in his role and doesn't shy away from standing up to Felix when the situation calls for it. Just when things seem to be going his way though, the rug is pulled out from underneath him again.

This author has the cliffhanger down to a science and always leaves me wanting more! I didn't think I would enjoy reading a book in this format but the characters are so engaging they keep me coming back.

I received an ARC copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

Picks off where book two leaves off with Liam waking up in a room in which one of his kidnappers is waiting for him to come to. It turns out to be the crazy princess. She has a thing going on with Chase's brother and didn't take well to the fact that he dumped her.

His internal commentary while being held hostage kind of amused me and pulled a laugh or two from me. Felix came off as a bit of a jerk. I could have done without Liam's imaginary/fantasy convo with Chase. I actually kind of was feeling embarrassed for him while reading it. I kind of thought the author would twist it so it wasn't a fantasy.

It was awesome how Liam stood up for Chase while his brother belittled him. It was fantastic and my favorite part of the book. The new development between Chase and Liam was exciting and I was hoping to feel some emotional attachment and wishing that the passion between Chase and Liam went beyond paper. The effect was there I felt as if they really were falling for each other and that this wasn't just a casual thing happening to them.

Like the previous books the author dropped a bit of a bomb on the readers at the end and I am looking forward to the next installment.

This is the third installment in the series and if you haven't read the first two I highly recommend that you do!

Two beautiful , smart, sexy men who find each other irresistible and when they finally collide they will sizzle off the pages!!

Liam continues to lead people to believe that he is Chase the infamous writer. In a strange twist of fate he finds himself in a difficult and dangerous situation by the hands of people who believe that he is actually Chase. We are introduced to another one of Chase's family and this one may we say leaves much to be desired.
The relationship between Chase and Liam begins to evolve and simmer. The sexual tension between these two men is becoming difficult to ignore and they are about to explode.
Chase remains to be very mysterious but finds his feelings difficult to hide when he finds out that Liam's life was in danger. We as the readers are finally treated to a very hot, steamy erotic scene between our men..........Hands in the air and yelling hurray for this!!!!!
I can not wait to get my hands on book 4 !!!!! I was gifted this book by the author for an honest review.

Disclaimer: I was given an ARC for review purposes by the author.
I've been waiting for this book to appear as book 2 ended with a cliffhanger. I've really enjoyed the story of Liam and Chase so far and I definitely was not disappointed with this book. There's more character development and we get to meet Chase's older brother. He's a definite eye-opener. I really loved Liam's reaction to him and what he actually said to him at the hospital. It had me giggling.
In this book too Chase and Liam finally make it to bed and Ms Scotts knows how to write a sex scene. Although, to be honest, this was more than that. It was hot, it was tender and it makes me look forward to more.
Towards the end of this book we also get a better peak into Liam's mind when he wakes up alone. There's so much going on in there and I can only hope that Chase does not leave him alone for too long.
Again, we are left with a cliffhanger but one which is totally different to that of book 2.
This book is highly recommended and I am already waiting for the next in the series.

I only wish it was longer!

The characterizations were stronger in this installment, with more little glimpses of Chase's personality (which go a long way to making him more likeable in this one than in the others), and the scene with Chase's siblings and their concern for Liam was sweet and felt real and genuine.

I do have to say that I wish there was at least a little of another perspective given, not necessarily Chase, though that would be nice. Landon's point of view might be a good one, because seriously, what's his deal? I hope we learn more about Felix too, there is clearly some major sibling tension-perhaps he had something to do with whatever left Chase with his scars?

It was good to get a little background on Liam, but more would be better (though, with the ending, I imagine the next one will be a lot of character development for both main characters.)

And, of course, the sexy bits were very well done. Very.

Looking forward to the next one!

First thing I have to say is what a hot cover. I know it seems strange to include a comment on the cover in a review, but a bad cover can turn readers off and make them miss out on good stories. Not the case here.

As to the story, each book in this series is better than the last. Readers are given a lot more insight into Chase and his attitude and we learn things aren't always what they seem. This was the first book in which I really liked Chase and felt for what's happened to him to make him the person he is, which readers still don't know. The writer is building the suspense with each novel.

I did get a bit confused in one scene in which Liam was having a fantasy and interacting with the object of his affection. Initially, I thought it was a fantasy scene and then it seemed to be a real time scene. I had to flip back and forth a few times between the pages to sort that out. That one speed bump aside, I loved this story and its cliffhanger ending.

I'm anxiously awaiting the next book.

Four and a half star review!

This series just keeps getting better with each new episode that J.J. writes. I really love these two guys Chase and Liam!

The author's style of writing these two characters gives the reader the feeling that Chase and Liam are real to the reader.

I have to say the the first book Being Chase was good but by the second book- Following Chase I became hooked and now With Chase I am totally in for it all!

The chemistry between these two gets better and better as does the storyline which J.J. knows exactly where she is going with this story...unfortunately we the readers are going to have to wait for yet another installment.

In a way I like it because it keeps making you want more and more and not having this series end with Chase and Liam. So my dear J.J. you must hurry it up with the next book!

I received a copy of this book as a gift from the author for an honest review.

First, let me disclose that I received this book as an ARC in return for an honest review. That said, I continue to LOVE this series. Each book has continued to flesh out the main characters (Liam and Chase), while introducing new characters, like the surprise this time of Chases's older brother Felix. Felix is, at least at this point, thoroughly unlikable, yet because of his hateful comments about Chase, Liam unthinkingly rises to Chase's defense (in front of Chase), which proves to be critically important to the development of a deeper relationship between Liam and Chase.

The second book ended in a cliffhanger, which is nicely resolved in the third book...which, of course, also ends in a cliffhanger! This author's deft mix of suspense, humor, and sizzle makes this a wonderful addition to the series and a book that is a "must read."

Liam been kidnapped by an unknown person. Now stuck trying to survive a crazy situation with a psycho blond who thinks he's the real Chase. He just has to survive long enough for the calvary to come in and once he's rescued how angry will Chase and everyone else be that he snuck out and ended up getting into trouble?

With emotions running at an all time high will Liam finally get a handle not only on his emotions but on Chase's too? I loved seeing Laim coming out of his shell more and saying what is on his mind is on his mind even if he got embarrassed by what came outta his mouth. Seeing more of the Preston family I'm more curious than ever for what secrets at hiding in the closets and what else will come out in upcoming additions to this series.

Woohoo! Part three of the Chase series was entertaining and thrilling. Poor Liam gets kidnapped by a psycho-woman and has to fear for his life. Btw… Chase’s brother Felix is really a dumbass… huh… what an arrogant and ruthless prick!

Chase… oh… he is so worried about Liam and finally the guys come together, their love scene is so beautiful… and so freaking hot! Loved it.

The ending of the short story shocked the hell out of me. Bad news from Liam’s family aren’t a nice cliffhanger. What is going to happen now? What if Liam needs to quit his job? Can’t wait to read the next follow-up.

**I was given a free copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review.**

I really liked this next chapter in Liam and Chase's story -- it's my favorite so far. It's too short, as usual, because I want to know more about Liam and Chase's story NOW, but what we get is good! There's some craziness at the beginning (Liam's been kidnapped!) and finally some development in the relationship between Chase and Liam and of course, because JJ Scotts is evil :), another cliffhanger!!! If you've been reading this series, you must read this one; it is so worth it!!

I got the arc and loved it. Loved how it's all coming together. Just when Liam thinks its the end, it all changes within a few shorts hours. Liam meets all of Chases family adter being shot and thinks his time of being Chase are over but thats not the case. Chase shows Liam he cares for him but hes not there the next day when he gets up. There is more bad news when a phone message is left by him mom calls. Cant wait to see what hapoens next.

I have to say I usually hate serialized anything. But JJ Scotts is quick on the draw (or quick on the write in this case) and gets the follow up out in a short time.
Liam is so sweet and just keeps getting the short end of the stick and gets himself in a bad place this time.
The series writing improves again and JJ shows talent for a great future. The books are well worth the investment of your time and money.

Swoosh!
Score!
ARC copy and 5 friggin stars all the way.
Liam and Chase and that kiss... That scene... Woot! I need another cold shower.
And where the hell is Chase. You don't disappear after something like that.
I enjoyed Liam's scene with Felix... WTH is wrong with the guy? Give me more insight.
The final scene I did not expect... What a cliffhanger.
Waiting for book 4.
Loved it.
