this was my favourite book in this series by far, i feel like the stakes really picked up, which i thought would be difficult to do after Moonlit but i guess Kate proved us wrong. this was captivating start to finish. there’s a love triangle-esque vibe happening (i’m team Cole), there’s trials and competitions, there’s vulnerable moments, spicy moments, tense moments, it has it all. it’s a perfect fall/halloween book (solstice witches duh) and i love that these books are shorter and accessible, the world building isn’t super complex to the point that i’m rereading a paragraph 6 times to understand the dynamics, they’re easy to read and they honestly fly by. thank you so much Kate for the ARC once again, i clearly had an amazing time. (i’ll have my reading vlog and experience up on tiktok in a day or two as well!)

Kate Sullivan is seriously one of my favorite authors. The Solstice Witch Series is incredibly written, and perfect for this time of year, and gets better with each book you read. It’s so bittersweet to me that this was the end. But that was quite the ride.

Alchemy has everything you could ever want. A love triangle, suspense, thrill, romance, magic, and heart break. I went through so many emotions reading this book. Stress, confusion, shock, sadness, happiness. I am obsessed. I’m still struggling putting into words just how good this book was. Lena takes you on a rollercoaster, the prep for a possible war, the competition for the throne, finding the truth, and who she is. This book captures you within the first sentence and doesn’t let you go. You won’t be able to put this down.

Go read the whole series. From start to finish, it’s amazing! You won’t regret it.

ARC review

Releases: October 22

Synopsis: This is the fourth and final book in the Solstice Witch Series and I absolutely loved it. The first three books, Luminous, Wildflower, and Moonlit are some of my favorite cozy fantasy books and I was so incredibly excited to read this. It did not disappoint! I stayed up way too late reading this and finished it first thing in the morning. Finally knowing the ending of Lenna’s story, both magical and romantic, it was everything I wanted and everything I was rooting for. I cannot recommend this series highly enough. It’s a perfect read for a witchy October. Definitely make sure you check it out.

Arc Review

It’s a perfect read for the season following the life of a solstice witch fae. I didn’t know what to expect going into this book as I hadn’t read the first three. This book was soo good, I struggled to put it down. From start to finish, I was excited to see what would happen next. Now I need to get the first three and read all 4 in order!

This book was my favorite in the series. This entire series was well written and was such a cozy and comfy read for the fall. I love in love with Lenna and her journey. I’m so happy that my theories throughout the series were right and I AM KICKING MY FEET. If you are looking for a series that has a cozy, fantasy, and romance vibe to it, I would definitely recommend reading this series!

Kate Sullivan did it again. The plot progression is amazing. And the characters keep growing and becoming so likable. I didn’t know what to think going into because I love the other so much, but this was such an amazing addition to the series.

This paranormal series is absolutely amazing!

It has great world building with witches, fae, vampires and so many surprises. Lenna the feisty/badass FMC has so many hurdles to overcome and power to harness. Each book gets better and better, Alchemy was my favourite!

Truly a fantastic series that I highly recommend!

~ARC Review~

I think this was a perfect conclusion to the Solstice Witch series! I just loved Lenna and her character development, her journey was so fun to read and I have never read a character that I have more in common with before, how she lives and her personality are similar to mine. The writing was just so good, the story flowed so well I sped through this book, it was fantastic! It will definitely be going on the re-read shelf!

Witchy review

Loved the ending I like when a story has twisted that you don't see coming. As always I wish the story never ends.

I am happy and upset this series has finally came to an end. I’m so grateful I found Kate on Tik Tok and was able to ARC read this entire series. This was the perfect timing for this book as it’s slowly turning to fall where I live.

Lenna’s story definitely took a turn I was not expecting there. But boy did I love that ending. I was really questioning someone’s motives there for awhile.

If you haven’t read any of this series go start with book one, so you fall in love from the start.

Thank you Kate Sullivan for this series (and for the ARC).

I loved the ending of Lenna’s story, but I don’t love the series is over!
I was in a huge fantasy genre slump when I came across the first in the Solstice Witch series. It was immediately over once I started Luminous.

Amazing series, cannot wait to see what the author does next!

First, I would like to thank Kate Sullivan for allowing me to read the ARC of Alchemy, which is the fourth book in A Solstice Witch series. I have truly enjoyed reading this entire series and Alchemy did not disappoint. I couldn’t put it down and read it in less than a day. I would have to say it is my favorite of the series.
I was so happy that we got to know Cole more in this book and his story is amazing. Lenna continues to grow into her witch and fae powers and is learning who she can trust and who she shouldn’t. There are a few twists in this book that really shocked me.
I had all the feels at one time or another while reading. I laughed, cried, and was shocked beyond belief.
Even though the first book would have been considered a YA book, this one is not. I would consider it an adult romantasy book. There are witches, fae, and vampires. It has slow burn, forced proximity, and spice, so if that is your thing, I would highly recommend it.

Kate's Solstice Witch series was my first ARC, and I have been privileged to receive an ARC for each book in the series.

The Solstice Witch Series is one of my favorite urban fantasy series, and each book gets better. Alchemy is the 4th in the series and continues to follow Lenna on her magical journey as a witch and fae. Aside from navigating the ever-complex love triangle, she has been involved in; she is also gearing up to face the vampire king, which we have all been waiting for throughout the series.

Alchemy is the perfect close to the Solstice Witch series with the right amount of spice, plot twists, and character development. As with Kate's other books, the world-building is excellent and not complex. You don't end up with high-stakes fantasy burnout, and the magic systems are easy to follow. I highly recommend the entire series, but Alchemy is the perfect ending you want in a well-thought-out series.

With each Solstice Witch book I have fallen more and more in love with the series and with Kate Sullivan as an author. Alchemy is no exception, certainly living up to, if not exceeding, my expectations. It is another truly amazing novel that does such a wonderful and satisfying job of wrapping this series!

Alchemy brings Lenna’s magical journey to its climax as we see her prepare to go head to head against Isaac, the vampire king. It’s an exciting adventure that is only made better by the thoughtful way Lenna has be written and the amazing and realistically complex relationships the author explores.

The moment I began reading I knew this wasn’t a book I wanted to put down, and I’ve already begun rereading my favourite scenes!

5 stars! Would highly recommend.
Exciting without being stressful - which is exactly what I’m looking for in my fall reads.

Thank you for the opportunity to read this as an ARC. Kate Sullivan's Solstice Witch series was a fun read. This last book in the series was my favorite. It had so many elements that I love such as a love triangle, extreme magic, intense competition and spice. Lenna certainly has grown over the books and I admire her strength and resolve. This being the last book in the series, it is sad to see it end, but the ending was very satisfying. I'm so glad I read this series.

This is an absolutely beautiful story. The world building is just amazing. I love the way that the author ties things together so well. The shocks, twists, and turns in this story kept coming from start to finish. I found it all fantastic. I love the characters so very much. They have such depth and realism. I really pull for and connect with Lenna. The author has a true skill as a word smith. I highly recommend this book and the rest of the series! 10 out of 10 would read again.
