The rebel lycan and the master-hunter vampyre
Nico
Hunting a werewolf on All Hallow’s Eve should be just another job. Just another night. Until it isn’t. Everything changes in a heartbeat, and I have no choice but to play nice with the very same lycan I’m chasing. Relying on him for survival is one thing; wanting to pierce his skin and drink deep? Something else entirely.
Tarryn
As an alpha werewolf, I have one goal in life: to rid the world of every bloodsucker and free my species from their clutches. Nicolai should be just another casualty in a war they don’t even know we’re waging. In the blink of an eye, he becomes so much more important than that, and the world as I know it shifts. The lines are blurring, but one thing can’t ever change: Nicolai is my mortal enemy, and my wolf can’t have what it wants.

The vampyre prince and the mysterious lycan
Freyr
The vampyres rule the world. And my father rules the vampyres with an iron fist. In my case, the apple has rolled down the hill, into the ocean, and travelled to distant lands, never to be found again. I’m not a fighter, or a scholar, and I’m certainly not any kind of leader. The werewolves are ours to control, and any that refuse are our enemies. I’ve never known any different. So why is this newly captured lycan so intriguing, and what am I supposed to do with him? I can't help but feel I’m being set up to fail.

Bloodbond is a dark paranormal enemies-to-lovers vampire/werewolf romance novella featuring two separate couples on a journey destined to collide. Ending on a cliffhanger, it is the first book following the same two relationships as they navigate their romance in a world where they’re destined to be enemies—but perhaps could be so much more than that?

This book was short but an absolutely amazing read ...
From the moment Tarryn and Nico hit the page, I was hooked. The author did a fantastic job ,giving us both the sweet and the absolutely scorching. If you're looking for a book with bloodplay , biting , Soul Mates , a delicious size difference, and action-packed scenes mixed with genuinely sweet moments, this is it. The plot will develop as the story continues. I devoured every word and am beyond thrilled it's getting an extension into a full book. ...The book was so good as a dual pov ...I need more of Tarryn and Nico's story! Highly recommend for fans of paranormal M/M romance.

I loved the original short story of this, but this was just taken up to a new level. Nico and Tarryn are everything I love about enemies to lovers in a paranormal book. Two predators who absolutely do not want to like each other and yet can't help the path that fate puts them on. Add in Nico's snark? Perfection.

This was a reworked short story so while Nico and Tarryn may be familiar to some readers, Freyr and his new task are not. And OMG I LOVED it! I am VERY interesting to see what's happening there and who the mystery lycan is.

This is one of my favorite authors and their ideas are always very much creative and cleverly done and I cannot wait for more.

To ask the author... is this being written in 1st person pov or 3rd person pov? pls dont change to 1st person pov... there is such a high saturation of 1st person in mm romance now... :(

The cover and blurb drew me in, but I ended up racing through it, because the characters gripped me from the start. Especially Nicolai and Tarryn have already captured my heart 🥰

There is a lot of mystery concerning the things that happened and the history between vampyres and werewolves. I hope to find out about it further in the series.

I'm absolutely invested and can't wait for the next installment!
