They both were close to their fathers who taught them about the stars. When their fathers die, they each handle their grief differently. The heroine helps her mother deal with a life of poverty. The hero tries to drowned himself in alcohol and rakish behavior. They meet at a ball and find they both love astronomy. As they meet under the stars they get to know each other. There are obstacles to overcome as they are pushed toward other people. It was a good read with likable characters.

Gemma and Dalton meet at a ball and after dancing both realize they share a love of the stars and constellations. Eventually they find their hea after all the evil maneuvering of his uncle come to the fore

Enjoyable story! They had so much in common and so many obstacles. Was nice to see how the love story unfolded.

I enjoyed the book. It showed them drugs were just as bad then. His cousin came through in the end. They all found happiness.
