3 stars. This was my favorite of the series so far. I will always love a sapphic Beauty and the Beast retellings and this one was quite lovely. Isabel and Rose were both likable leads and had good chemistry. I do think that having Isabel start to have feelings for Rose because of a dream felt kinda underwhelming but whatever. This was fun and quick read.

Enjoyable addition to the series, and like all of the others, a reasonably fast paced and light story that does eventually tie in with the previous moon book. There is some spice, plenty of sweet moments, and while you can see the beats and inspiration from the original fairytale, it is definitely a story of its own as well.
