As someone who suffers from anxiety and depression, this book has so much information that it can be to overwhelming to a reader struggling. I must admit its well done though. I would advise someone who suffers with anxiety and depression to go see a doctor first. And once they are in a better mental place, then read this book and try and make notes. Don’t change what already working for you but use this book as a tool for situation where u need help. Example for me. I like the topics on sleep routine and eating routine. I realized I may be eating emotionally, more snacks when I don’t feel good and also I have a bad sleep routine. Even, Good book, I comment author for it, its well done. I would recommend, but for a reader suffering with these issues. Try and take you time, its a lot of information all at once.
This is a fantastic book. It’s full of great information about how we think, behave and how we can improve our life in so many ways. The exercises are clear and purposeful. I will be going back now to start working through them in more detail. It’s easy to read and yet so powerful. This a a good book to help you move from anxiety and stress to a place of peace and acceptance. You can reflect on your past action and understand why you have certain negative triggers in life. You cant control your emotion but you can manage it. It starts with awareness and this ACT workbook can be a first step to begin taking control of your life.
