This is a collection of short stories, so you get what you expect - you get these bite size chunks of Weird Western Tales that if you are not hooked by the 2nd page, you flip forward a few extra pages and begin the next tale - this is the second book in the series, and though that usually does not matter, the first 2 stories in this collection are actually part of an ongoing story through the anthologies - there are three anthologies, and the 2 authors have their short stories broken into three parts and placed in the beginnings of each collection - I only mention this, because in reading these two I was lost until I saw that they were "to be continued" in the third anthology, which made me see that I did get the second book before the first one on accident - just be forewarned - the tales are have a weird west feel and style with one exception that just seemed like Horror Gumshoe, and was out of place, but all in all, this is a good set of stories and worth it for some quick 5 to 10 minutes reads in between things in your life.
