Resimțim durerea pierderii unei persoane dragi, a unui animal de companie, a sănătății, a unei relații importante, a vieții așa cum o știam noi ca pe o lavă fierbinte care ne pătrunde în inimă, transformând totul în cenușă. Durerea pierderii este o suferință pentru care nimic nu ne poate pregăti, iar atunci când ne confruntăm cu ea, primul nostru instinct este să fugim cât mai departe.

Robert Jackman is a best selling author, inner child expert and a board certified psychotherapist with the National Board of Certified Counselors who has helped many people on their healing path for more than twenty years. In addition to his private practice, he has taught master’s level classes at National Louis University in the Chicago area, led outpatient groups in clinics and hospitals and been a guest speaker on podcasts, panels and telesummits on the topics of codependency, boundary setting, couples communication, inner child, mindfulness and the role of spirituality in healing, and participated in numerous weekend retreats with Victories for Men.

Robert is also a Reiki master who uses energy psychology in his practice and personal development. He considers himself a codependent in recovery, always working on boundary setting, discernment, nurturing his relationships and connecting with the authentic self. He lives in the far west suburbs of Chicago and in Oregon with his family. He enjoys photography, kayaking, gardening, and nurturing and delighting his inner child.

الكتاب موضوعه جديد بالنسبه لي
انا عادةً اتجنب كل القصص اللي اعرف انها محزنه او بتأخذ من مشاعري كثير
لكن قررت ابدأه بسبب صورة الغلاف والفن الموجود بالصورة وعلاقته بالحزن
الكتاب ثقيل صراحه، الترجمة جيده بس اعتقد كان ممكن تكون افضل، لان احيانا اواجه مشكله بالصياغه واحتاج اقرأ كم من مره عشان افهم.
الكاتب نهاية كل تشابتر يسوي مقابله مع شخص فقد شئ كبير بحياته، ويسألهم اسأله
صراحه القصص جداً مؤلمه قرأت منها ٢ فقط وحسيت ما عندي طاقة اكمل، الاولى تحديدا كانت جدا حزينه
فقررت رحمة بنفسي اني اقرأ التشابتر واسوي سكيب للقصص الى ما اكون مستعده
اكثر معلومه ثبتت عندي هي :
-لما الكاتب تكلم عن اننا نحتاج نوع من الختام بالقصة، سواء كانت صلاة دعاء تأمل او ايا كان، طقس معين نسويه بنيه اننا نظهر للشخص/الشئ اهميته لنا، حسيت بالفكرة نوع من الروحانيه والسلام.
-كذلك ذكر انه مهم ان تحضر العزاء لو تقدر لانه لو ما كنت موجود ما راح تستوعب انه هذا الشخص توفى ومو موجود بالحياه، وذكر انه لما كان طفل امه و ابوه ما خلوه يحضر عزاء شخص يقرب له وللان هو مو مستوعب ان هالشخص مات، فهو رأيه انه مهم نشرح للاطفال عن الموت، وان هذا الشخص مات/بيموت و كيف ممكن يقدرون ويستغلون الوقت الباقي معاهم.
-ذكر قصة عن سيده دعت طفله مصابه بالسرطان لمحاضرتها و هالطفله كانت تعتقد انها مسويه شئ غلط ويأنبها ضميها طوال الوقت وتعتقد انها غلطانه بشئ لكنها مو فاهمه ايش يصير وليه اهلها حزينين، كانت تعتقد انها هي السبب و انها غلطانه، فقالت لها السيده هل تعلمين انك بتموتين؟ - او شئ مشابه لهالفكره- وشرحت لها اللي جالس يصير، فالطفله فهمت واستوعبت ان الموضوع فقط لانها بتموت، وامها وابوها حزينين لهالسبب، مو لانها غلطانه ولا هو عقاب، ف لقت الجواب للاسئله اللي عندها.

This book is ideal for everyone going through a hard time dealing with a loss. Grief is the heaviest of human emotions and, if left undealt with, can cause massive damage to our mental, physical and emotional well being.

The author wrote it in such a way that I felt he was reading me my life story.
After applying the knowledge Robert Jackman has so kindly poured into this book, I can finally breathe. I haven't breathed properly in years.

This book has changed my entire perspective on grief and I (as a trauma coach) feel richer for having read it.
