i am honoured to have been a beta reader for this book. i thought there was no way this book could be better then Indulging in Irelyn(book 1) but boy was i wrong! this book went above and beyond my wildest imagination and i am still reeling about Zolt and Irelyne and all the things they endured! this book is packed with emotion and everything flowed so perfectly together. If you havent read this series, what are you waiting for??

I just finished Being Zolt and I liked it. It was a good follow up. This is apart of the Indulging Series so it will need to be read in order starting with Indulging in Irelyn then this one. Zolt is an ex-NFL Quarterback that has been sidelined for his whole career from a dirty play during one of his important games. Because of that he hasn't even been the same. Until he meets Irelyn. She was actually at his game with this happened so seeing each other was a shock for him. It is an instant attraction but Marcus stood in the way. Marcus is a very mean man and has killed her brother to keep Irelyn. She didn’t know this until the very end of Indulging and to keep Zolt and Kenna her friend safe she goes back to Marcus with some repercussions that you wouldn’t expect. This story picks up right after that. When Zolt and Company find out they go and save her while trying to find Kenna. With Marcus having deep connections will they be able to save her friend? Will Zolt and Irelyn be able to pick up where they left off? You will have to read and see.
I liked the story, and I thought that it flowed really well. I liked the secondary characters, Brody, T-Bone, Cory and Rachael. Just as always, their voice and advice help Zolt and Irelyn when its needed. I liked that it was in both of their point of views. It makes things easier to follow when you know why both characters do what they do.
Zolt is still sexy as ever. He does still re-act without thinking and I had hoped he would change that but he is still a hottie. I liked Irelyn better in this one. She wasn’t so whinny. I felt bad for her with what she had gone through. No one should ever have to go through that. I think Zolt and Irelyn are a good couple and they still have a lot to learn from each other Their chemistry was hot. Will have you fanning your face that is for sure.
If you are looking for a story that grabs you and doesn’t want to let you go, then this one is for you.

Just as always, their voice and advice help Zolt and Irelyn when its needed. I liked that it was in both of their point of views. It makes things easier to follow when you know why both characters do what they do.

Indulging in Irelynleaves us with a lot to wonder about. Being Zolt picks up right where we are left. Zolt comes to realize the truth about Irelyn's leaving him after his initially self-destructive actions. He is able to see the truth and work with those close to him to get Irelyn out of danger and then try to help her sort through the mess that has been caused by her father and Marcus. Marcus is not about to accept any form of defeat or something not going the way he wants. He will stop at nothing and hurt anyone he needs to in order to get what he wants. Zolt and Irelyn find themselves trying to find their way back together while keeping each other safe and dodging the many threats against them and those they care about.

This is the second book in the Indulging series by D.L. Raver and I cannot say loud enough that you MUST INDULGE!
This is a fast-paced, action & attraction filled series that examines the lengths we will go to for love, hate, greed and revenge. It examines the motives of everyone for every action until they have proven themselves worthy or show their true colors and eliminates them from the lives they have already damaged before they can completely destroy them. What we learn is that love for another person makes us do crazy things and we need to be aware of what that means - does it take us down a dark, scary road and change us in ways that scare the rest of the world? Or does it strengthen us and make us the person we want to be - that good, caring person we see in the eyes of the one that loves us. The scariest part of all is how easy it is to deviate from the latter path to the former and not even realize it until it is too late - till the damage we have done has wreaked havoc on the lives of the people we "love" and we have actually destroyed some.
This book also focuses on the love that grows between Irelyn and Zolt and how Zolt truly does become the man she needs him to be - also the man he wants to be as he sees the examples of the others around him; both good and bad. In this book he does become the man the world needs him to be, for his love, his family and his friends and finally, to make their world a better and safer place to be.
This is one of my favorites line because it highlights the growth of Zolt and the relationship between he and Irelyn. "His [Zolt's] kiss wasn't sexual but reassuring, expressing his love for me, and I knew eventually I'd be okay. But more importantly, I knew we'd be okay too"

*The relationship between Zolt and Irelyn is set in the midst of drama, with Zolt fearing that she has left him.
Mystery~ Check!
*They need to figure out how to best Marcus and keep themselves free of harm.
Hot sexy scenes~ HOLY CHECKA ROONEY!
*Reading how Zolt loves his Irelyn will burn your fingers and set you ablaze.
Danger~ Check!
* They need to keep themselves and everyone they love away from Marcus and torture.
HEA~ CHECK!
Now I am not one tell give away the ending or the story, but I will tell you that this book will more than fulfill everything you look for in a series ending.
In short I loved it! Zolt is the Alpha/ Knight in shining armor we all wan to have in our corner not only protecting you but loving you. No matter what he has to endure to have Irelyn and love her he will do. Really this is the kind of love story that gets my blood going, not just the romance but the trials and tribulations they have to go through. Because that is what a lasting relationship is right? I mean it isn't always a walk in the park. Even though they have a rough start and have to go through more than most this story at the heart shows how strong a relationship can be if you r are fighting for the same thing... each other!

This is the second book and finishes their story. I would highly recommend that you read Indulging Irelyn immediately before reading this book, so that the story flows smoothly from one to the other. It is a complicated tale, to say the least and a quick refresher helped plunge me back into the story.
This is a super book, which really brings to the fore the thoughts of the main protagonists and points out the dangers of miscommunication. Luckily they seem to be well rooted in their faith for each other, even if it is stretched to breaking point. The plot thickens in this book and the reveal is worth the wait.
Go, reacquaint yourself with these characters, and then indulge in a really good ending to their story.

Fantastic second book in the story of Zolt and Irelyn.
This book picks up where Indulging in Irelyn left off. With Zolt returning to his old ways, after Irelyn's shock return to Marcus.
The plot thickens in this book, with lots of twists and suspense and mystery to keep up with, all wrapped around the romance of our lead couple.
Irelyn is such a strong character who has brought about amazing changes in Zolt, changes that continue to happen right through this book. Zolt was a lost soul in "Indulging", but with his own inner strength and Irelyn by his side he becomes a strong amazing man.
This was a great story right through, with a beautiful HEA, and a lovely epilogue that takes us through many years of our characters lives together.
No wonder Zolt was voted into the top ten favorite book boyfriends!

4.5 stars. This book made me angry. I found myself swearing out loud more than once. There's crime and love and self-discovery and truth in this, book 2 of this series. This one also made me a bit teary-eyed at times. It was very good but far from a light read.

Once Zolt's POV appeared I was lost and hooked. A great read overall and I totally love the ending worth the 4.5STARS.

The Indulging Series is one that grabs you, takes a hold of you and doesn’t let you go and you’re left completely dumbfounded and in total awe, wondering and asking yourself, “OMG…did that just happen??” We were all left reeling after the humongous cliff-hanger in “Indulging In Irelyn,” but it was definitely worth the wait, because Being Zolt was beyond AMAZING!
The character development and emotional connection to all the characters was created so beautifully by D.L. Raver in “Indulging In Irelyn,” that you felt fully invested in learning what transpired next with all the characters. I was on the edge of my seat and couldn't wait to discover what was next for Zolt and Irelyn, or what would happen to that slime-ball Marcus, or even poor, innocent Kenna.
The suspense and mystery throughout the series was truly incredible and keeps you thoroughly engaged and interested. There were many moments and developments within the book that was completely jaw dropping and left me shocked and speechless. Can I just say that Ms. Raver knows how to write one hell of a villain? I hated Marcus so much; I wanted something horrific to happen to him the moment I started the book. LOL!
Now, as for Zolt…Although, he had his issues and I wanted to smack him a few times, he did redeem himself with his devotion to protect and care for Irelyn. He wasn't perfect by far, but he proved himself at every turn that he too, can overcome his demons and be the man that Irelyn needed, especially with the all the trials and tribulations she had experienced.

We have another winner from one of my favorite Indie authors!!
The conclusion to this series was exactly how it should have been. I couldn't have been happier, although, bittersweet to see it end, but, still happy nonetheless. :)
This book picks right up where the first left off, with poor Irelyn being held against her will by the hands of that sleazeball Marcus. Ms. Raver does an excellent job with writing this villain, let me tell ya, he's a peach, ha! The conditions that he has Irelyn living in, is just, awful, and cruel. Let's just say that, this guy, seriously deserved E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G he got, and then some! -grin-
I really don't want to give out away too much, because that's just no fun, but this book was very suspenseful and action packed, with A LOT of shocking/jaw-dropping moments. It moved the reader (me) along at a very nice pace, I didn't get bored at all, especially since there was plenty of “smexy” times – you can never have enough of that – and, all in all it was a very enjoyable read. The series as a whole was written very well, it had a great storyline with the right amount of sex, humor, and mystery. I love Irelyn and Zolt together, because the chemistry that they have for each other is just hot! I even learned a thing or two about some certain “bedroom toys” from this author that I had no clue they even existed, haha!
Both books had me up in the wee hours of the night reading, and when that happens, they must be very good, because I like my sleep!

This picks up right where Indulging in Irelyn left off. I must say im in love with Irelyn and Zolt. I thought the book was even better than the first. The drama was intense and some of it was not what I had expected and that thrilled me that I was surprised at the twists and turns. The side characters are very well written and I love how, while during the drama, both Irelyn and Zolt grow together and mature and their love grows and evolves into something really wonderful. Ive kinda got a little crush on Zolt’s brother Brody as well as Zolt …. I see a threesome in my future … And holy hell, the sex scenes ROCK !! yeah, I want a Zolt of my very own !!I waited for Irelyn to start to become a whiney b***h but it didn’t happen. She is actually a fabulous female lead character. Zolt was a hot alpha male lead character who loved, played and protected his woman with such a fierceness …. *fans self* … .well damn, hes just hot …. There were a few grammar errors, words left out but it was very few and not at all distracting. The spelling was perfect. Marcus was the perfect bad guy and I hate his guts and want him to rot in hell …. Which I am sure was the authors goal…. He was a wicked evil bastard … .mission accomplished. There were so many shockers and that kept you from putting the book down. You just cant !! A few things, I just never expected. The ending was awesome. The way the author wrapped things up and gave you some of their future was absolutely a perfect ending to a great series.I would absolutely recommend this series.

Being Zolt begins where we left off with Indulging Irelyn. Irelyn is still with Marcus and Zolt has gone off the deep end, not taking a minute to understand what is going on. Luckily for him he has T-bone and Brody to get him to understand what they need to do to get Irelyn back from the clutches of evil.
Irelyn is unsure of anything at this time, she thinks she is doing the right thing to help out the ones she loves and keep them safe. But in reality no one is safe.
Zolt regresses back to his old ways, to only find out that he can’t be that person anymore. The bond that he and Irelyn have is too strong. Fate brought them together and nothing will keep them apart.
This book has danger, action, a psychotic madman, suspense, death, murder, but it also has love, friendship, family, and healing. My emotions ran wild while reading this book, I couldn’t put it down I had to know what would happen next. The highs and lows of the book are extreme.
Irelyn shows unbelievable courage, strength, resilience, and the ability to never give up against all odds. Not only does she overcome her own hardship, but she also works to help other women and children fight against sex-trafficking.
Zolt also overcomes a lot throughout this book and finds strength in his love for Irelyn and his brother and T-Bone. The connection that Irelyn and Zolt have for one another is one seen fairytales, with lots of evil entwined, but as in fairytales they were able to fight the evil and come out the other side stronger. The undying love that they have for each other is amazing.

When Zolt finally finds what he only thought was a hallucination, he knows he has meet the woman of his dreams...literally. Zolt being an long time womanizer he doesn't know how to do relationships. So when he acts selfishly and Irelyn walks out of Zolt's life he falls back to his old ways, smoking, drinking and women. His world has crashed down around him, he doesn't know how to deal with losing Irelyn.
But Irelyn lied, lied to protect him.
Zolt and their friends put together a plan to take Marcus Xavier out, get him out of Arizona for good. Marcus is a dangerous man who has already admitted to killing Chris, Irelyn brother. Marcus proves he is up for the fight and is always one step ahead.
I like getting lost in a good love story wrapped in suspense. Love when it has you questioning what's next, who did it? D. L. Raver found a great way to weave in the suspense. It was a great ending to a sweet love story.

Zolt could not get Irelyn’s words out of his head. She said “green”. Zolt is faced his actions have cost him his angel, or has it? It takes Brody and T-Dog point it out to him, but Irelyn is not safe, as matter fact is anything but that. Now in a race against time and evil Zolt must win back Irelyn. There was no time lag between Indulging in Irelyn and this book. I’m a big fan of books in a series that do this. Steamy sex scenes once again fill this book, though there are more emotional ones a well. I enjoy the back and forth between Irelyn and Zolt’s POV. More than once I was asking myself will these two ever get a break or get their HEA. The storyline runs much more deeply that you would have thought from pervious book. If you are looking for a good storyline with plenty of sexyness then this is the book for you.
Zolt could not get Irelyn’s words out of his head. She said “green”. Zolt is faced his actions have cost him his angel, or has it? It takes Brody and T-Dog point it out to him, but Irelyn is not safe, as matter fact is anything but that. Now in a race against time and evil Zolt must win back Irelyn. And they must defeat Marcus Xaiver.

Irelyn is gone or so Zolt is led to believe, luckly he doesn't believe it for long and with the help of friends and family he'll fight to get her back. Irelyn never wanted to lose Zolt but with Marcus threatening everything she cares about she had no choice. What happenes after they find each other is nothing short of complete craziness. Can they work together to overcome the evil that is Marcus or will it be too much for their new love to handle?
Irelyn is strong, stronger than she believed herself to be. She cares almost too much about others, but she does whats right even if it gets her into trouble occasionally. Zolt is determined to protect Irelyn at all costs, he's found happiness and won't let anyone or anything take it away. He's caring and is the perfect match for Irelyn knowing what she needs even when she doesn't.
The conclusion to their story has it's ups and downs and a great many unbeliveable turns. If you think you know what will happen you don't and there ar plenty of revlations to keep you exciditly turning the page throughout. I loved their story and how it all played out in the end. Being Zolt had everything I was looking for in follow up to Indulging in Irelyn. There was lots of drama, suspense, and steamy scenes.
Irelyn is a much stronger character than I originally thought from the first book. She tries to do what she thought was in the best interest to save the people she loves. She makes some stupid choices but I don’t know what I would have done if I was in her position.
I started off extremely pissed at Zolt but he definitely redeemed himself. He took care of Irelyn when she needed it and they helped heal each other.
This book had me on the edge of my seat wanting to know what was going to happen. I read it all in one sitting because I needed to know what was going to happen.
I truly enjoyed Irelyn and Zolt’s story. There were tears and laughter. There were times I was frustrated with all the characters but I really liked every character except Marcus. I do have to say Marcus was a great villain. He was crazier than I thought from the first book. I hope the author writes about Sloan and Kenna next.

This is the second book and concluding book to indulging in Irelyn…. And WOW it does not disappoint…
This book picks the story right back up from where you were left hanging in the first book…. I was so excited to dive into this book because I needed to know if Zolt would see through Irelyn lie and rescues her from the twisted son of a bitch Marcus …..
This story is jam packed with drama, angst, tears, heartache, action and sex.
The brief period Irelyn and Zolt are apart only solidified their feelings for one another so as more secrets surrounding Marcus come tumbling out and more people get hurt…. They are able to become each other’s rock…
I adored this book and devoured it in hours as I was sucked in and kept captivated till the last word… I was sat on tender hooks as read, hoping and wishing Irelyn and Zolt got the happy ever after they so deserved… And I loved how it all concluded together in the end it made my heart swell.
This duo of books is simply awesome and an enjoyable consuming suspense romance… I look forward to more books by D.L. Raver in the future.

This book was even more intense than Indulging in Irelyn. Irelyn is in trouble with Marcus and Zolt and his crew do everything to save her. After they do the tables are turned and instead of Irelyn helping Zolt with dealing with his pain Zolt is instead helping Irelyn deal with hers. Throughout this book there was tragedy, heartache, happiness and love. Zolt and Irelyn supported each other through all of this.
There was many shocking turns in this book and it kept you guessing. There was also plenty of sexy love scenes. I also liked that you also got to see into the life of the secondary characters as well as Zolt and Irelyn. And of course the villain that you will hate Marcus seems to never stop trying to hurt people.
This book has the right amount of mystery, action, love, and happiness to keep you reading. At the end of the book there is a look into Zolt and Irelyn future and I loved that.

Wow, Being Zolt was a great read! Being Zolt is the second book in the Indulging series. You must read Indulging in Irelyn first. Being Zolt takes off where Indulging in Irelyn left off. Indulging in Irelyn left us with a crazy cliffhanger and I couldn't wait to read Being Zolt. Being Zolt (if possible) was even better than Indulging in Irelyn.
In the beginning, we find Zolt isn't dealing well with Irelyn being gone. Luckily he has a great brother and friends let are able to get him on track. A lot happens in this story. We find out a lot more about Irelyn's family. We also learn more about Marcus and his sister.
It's kind of a crazy read, I found my self wanting to yell at the characters at some points. There are definitely some crazy twists. Of course when Zolt and Irelyn are together there are some steamy scenes.

After a much needed wake up call from his brother and his friends, Zolt realizes that Irelyn is in trouble and he feels guilty for not going after her right away.
Lots of twists and turns leads to tragedy and then hope.
I really liked this book and the ending is very sweet.

4.5 stars. Zolt and Irelyn's story concludes. A lot of bad stuff happens. Marcus is the mastermind behind it all. Zolt and Irelyn are pushed to their limits and when there is nothing left, they still have each other but not without significant challenges and sacrifice. There's more twists this time around. Zolt really steps it up to be that guy that Irelyn needs during a gloomy time in her life. Irelyn holds herself together as best as she can but she is put through the wringer so when she does crack, it's not a surprise. Despite all the fear, guilt and general darkness, there are still some happy and light moments, too. If anything, Zolt and Irelyn realize that tomorrow is never guaranteed and that it's important to cherish what they have today. The epilogue was great, bringing closure to some of the things that previously haunted them, and full circle to other things.

Plot thickens with the second book, Irelyn and Zolt start this book off separated by Marcus. The cliffhanger in the previous book was pretty nasty so I was relieved that Irelyn got away from Marcus. What a nasty character, seems he is not going to let much stand in the way of what he wants. Zolt returns to his previous stupidity, getting high and hooking up with faceless women. Makes him feel like a weak male character. His friends seem to have more belief and staying power than he does. Then serendipity happens and then the horrible fall of her parents. I gave this book four stars of entertainment.

The conclusion to an amazing story...I just really loved this story and the faith they had in each other. There were some shocking events that happened and I just sat there and was like, "did that really just happen?"....just a great story. Zolt is super and hot and just the kind of guy you want..once he gets his act together that is. This was a great love story and I will be sure to read this one again and again. I also loved the "epilogues" and what played out over the years. Haven't read a book like this one in a while..and I read ALOT...

I really liked the 2 person POV in this story and I liked how the ending their was no cliffhanger and I got to see what happens after the hole Marcus big deal goes on(must read the story to find out). I really enjoyed the story over-all it was a great way to show that love does last a through a lot of hard times.

Irelyn and Zolt
This was the conclusion of their story. I am not sure if the author will be writing more, but she should consider it. She is really good. I was a bit put off with some of the things in the story, but was completely captivated. It is so worth the tears you will feel for the pain the woman go through. I felt a part of the story at times. So yeah if she writes more I would love to get to know more.

I love Zolt amd Ireland. I am strongly upset with Irelyn. I understand why she went with Marcus, but at what cost?? Zolt has a lot to come to terms with and his past career and that illegal hit he took has been a long time coming. Brody had helped so much with him and we see a lot of him in this book. I wonder if he will have his own book? Either way this was a good read and I am glad this one did not pass me by.

Reading about Zolt and Irelyn have been the experience of a life time. Just when you think you have them figured out they change in an instant. I love that there's more to this story than just a simple romance, nothing is as easy as it seems. These two take you for a ride that will throw your mind in a whirlwind ! Being Zolt is the second book in the Indulging Series by D.L. Raver. You have to definitely read the first book to know who the characters are and the back story. This series was really good. There was all kinds of craziness going on in this book and I couldn't put it down. I had to know what was going to happen next.

The continuation of Zolt and Irelyn's story is amazing!! So many twists and turns that I couldn't figure out where it might go next! I loved watching Zolt grow and change into a better man! I'd love to see a spin off for Sloane and Kenna! Great work Dawna!!
