Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling author Winter Travers is a devoted wife, mother, and aunt turned author who was born and raised in Wisconsin. After a brief stint in South Carolina following her heart to chase the man who is now her hubby, they retreated back up North to the changing seasons, and to the place they now call home. Winter spends her days writing happily ever afters, and her nights being a karate mom hauling her son to practices and tournaments. She also has an addiction to anything MC related, puppies, and baking.
It was such a good book. I adore second generation books and I am here for these series. This first one was the perfect beggining. I loved to see everyone again and the kids grown up, so cute. Adley was a woman who knew what she wanted and she didn't let the man in her life dictate anything for her. If she wanted it, she would get it. Mason wanted her so bad but was afraid of what the club, especially her father, would do him. But he couldn't fight what he felt for much longer and love won out. They made a very good couple and I just can't wait for the rest of the kids' stories
What an outstanding start to the 2nd Generation of the Fallen Lords MC. If you read the original series (one of this reader's personal favorites) you know just how loyal the brothers are and how crazy fun their ole ladies are. Both of which are still true today only. I personally think the ole ladies have gotten crazier with age and boy do they keep their men on their toes. Well hang on to your hats as not only are the original generation still in charge, at least for now, but their kids are grown and as they say, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. This is Adley’s story. Growing up around the Fallen Lords Clubhouse, she developed a crush on Mason. When she turned 18 she went for it and kissed Mason, a prospect at the time. But he pushed her away, after all she was a club princess. So Adley left for Chicago to 1 get her education and 2 get away from seeing Mason day in and day out. It’s now 14 years later, Adley is back home and working at the club’s bar that Mason runs. Needless to say, sparks fly (both good and bad).
This is a great read full of fun, romance, heat and laughs. I can’t recommend it enough. As for this reader, I can’t wait for book 2 of the Fallen Lords 2nd Generation MC.
Fallen Dove is an almost second chance romance with Adley finally returning home after 14 years. The moment she lays eyes on Mason she knows what she felt as an 18 year old girl are still there and even stronger. Mason pushed her away all those years ago and if he can just follow the rules he set himself he will be able to keep his distance, however rules were meant to be broken. These two drove me insane a little with the secrecy and Mason not talking to her Dad as I found that a little immature based on the fact he as in his early forties. However that did not detract from how much I enjoyed this story and still loved the characters. Alice and the girl gang always bring a little of the crazy to each and every story which just adds for the entertainment factor. There was plenty of passion and emotions running high between Mason and his little dove. However it is the ending in preparation for the next book that will have you on the edge of your seat.
Fallen Dove is a fantastic start to the next generation of MC stories! I couldn’t put it down because Mason and Adley lit the pages on fire with their intensity and desire! From start to finish I was hooked!!! Mason is sexy and adorable with these rules he can’t follow when it comes to Adley. I love how she called him out on being his “dirty secret!” Twelve years is a long time to be apart and when they came together, the fireworks were phenomenal! The scene with Slayer and Mason had my heart pounding and Adley made me so proud! His office desk and that walk in cooler - thank you!!! Seeing the crew throughout the story was awesome! I still can’t get enough of Alice! I definitely want to be friends with Star - she is one tough cookie and I can’t wait for her book! I want to ride on the back of Mason’s bike and be his “little dove” forever too!
Fallen Dove, the first of the Next Gen is amazing and a great start to the next generation of Fallen Lords. When the adults get older the kids come out to play!
This has been years in the making! Adley had a crush and ran away but she's home now and has to face what was left behind; not only family but him. He has rules and thinks it's better this way, he was a prospect and now a member but the rules stay, or they try to. Life is never so simple and now it's on camera cause it's the Lords turn to be on the show. Some secrets can't stay secret and should really be told, not shown. Ooops! Mason and Adley are adorable and when it comes time to step up; boy does Mason do it, in front of everyone. The Girl Gang shenanigans are commencing and parties are getting started. It's time for more!
This was a great read from beginning to end — a wonderful story for Adley and Mason, filled with brilliant chemistry and a slow burn that’s been building for fourteen years. When Adley moves back home after city life is unfulfilling, she reconnects with Mason — her first kiss — and the sparks reignite instantly.
Working together at the club only adds to the tension as Mason tries (and fails) to keep things professional. And of course, things get even more complicated with Adley’s dad, Sayer, who is definitely not happy about their connection!
Winter once again showcases her incredible writing and world-building in the second generation of the Fallen Lords MC, blending heart, heat, and family loyalty in the best way.
A heartfelt, steamy, slow-burn romance — and a fantastic next chapter for the Fallen Lords world. Definitely worth reading!
I’m so happy that I got to read Fallen Dove. Mason and Adley are such a great couple. Adley kissed Mason when she was eighteen and he rejected her so she left for college and didn’t come back for fourteen years, except holidays. When she returns home she gets a job at the bar that Mason runs and then the sparks fly. She gets her man and he survives her dad finding out and all is sweet and good. I really enjoyed this book and I’m so happy that Miss Winter finished it on a cliffhanger ( because they’re so great…..) so now I’m impatiently waiting for book number two to get here. Thank you, Winter, for the second generation of the Fallen Lords because the OG’s were brilliant! Definitely worth the 5 stars 🌟
Oh. My. Goodness. The Fallen Lords will always have a place in my heart so digging in to the start of the second generation... I was ready! Mason is that guy that caught her eye years ago, so those feelings have been bubbling for a long time. The pull that Mason and Adley have is strong, it sizzles, and just gets better as the pages turn. They have a great back and forth as well. I love the connection with the rest of the guys, those ladies will always add laughs, and yet in true Winter Travers fashion we're set up perfectly for the next book in this must read new series!
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
The second generation of the Fallen Lords begins in grand fashion! Fallen Dove is book 1 of course and this one is Mason and Adley's story. Adley's return home after college stokes a fire that has been 14 years in the making. It doesn't matter how hard Mason tries he just can't stay away from her. Their journey is steamy, intriguing and consuming. Fallen Dove does end on a cliffhanger and that's ok. It just means more of these fantastic characters. Don't miss out on the second generation. It appears they're going to be as great as the originals.
I have been over the moon excited for the next generation to come around and I was not disappointed!!! I absolutely loved getting back into the Fallen Lords. Seeing how things have changed and where everyone was at now. Adding in Mason and Adley was epic. That forbidden love thing just makes you swoon. I loved seeing how things started and where they went. Following through everything had me on the edge of my seat. Now I am just counting down till I can read the next book. I love that we are able to continue to fall for the Fallen Lords!!
A captivating, engaging story. It is written well with a nice even pacing. There is a lot packed into this but it's just enough to give you this perfect story. Adley and Mason these two have history but they are so good together. I liked the storyline, how this book was set up, and then that ending it blindsided me. I wasn't expecting it to happen but nonetheless it leaves things open for what's to come. And I can't wait to see what it is. This is an unputdownable page turner. It's about second chances and old wounds and so much more. This is a book you don't want to miss out on reading.
Even the strongest rules cannot stand up to true love's pull. The second generation of the Fallen Lords is here and they are ready to break all the rules, call some chaos and fall in love. The originals are here to add their opinions ( wanted or not) and watch their family expand while bringing their own signature chaos into play. This story delivers suspense, drama, love laughter and a big serving of found found family . In true Winter travers fashion there are bumps on the journey to the Happily ever after and at the end you're left with a giant WTF??? screaming in your brain.
After being rejected by Mason when she kissed him when she was 18, Adley left for college and stayed away for years. Now she is back at home with her parents and her feelings for Mason have not changed. Mason’s feelings haven’t changed either, but she is off limits.
A fabulous page turner with favourite Fallen Lords characters, throw in the film crew, a splash of danger and an ending leaving me impatiently waiting for the next in the series.
Mason and Adley are part of the new 2nd generation of the Fallen Lords and this only makes the story more heartfelt. Growing up among those who have found love puts thoughts and hopes in even the hardest of hearts. But that doesn't stop rejection from being hurtful. Adley needed time to explore and season herself before she realized just how hard it was for Mason to keep true to himself and to the brotherhood and not take advantage of her naivete.
Five huge stars for the first book in the second generation of the Fallen Lords MC! Yes! More Beardilocks, Alice, the brothers the girl gang and all the kids! Well those kids have grown up! And up first is Adley. She is back from the big smoke after fourteen years. The spark between Adley and Mason is turning into an inferno and won’t be tamed! What will happen when the cameras start rolling and the truth comes out? What a fantastic read!!
After being rejected by Mason, when she kissed him at 18, Adley left for college. She stayed away for years, but Chicago just wasn’t for her and now she’s back living with her parents. Her feelings for Mason haven’t changed, and Mason‘s feelings for her having changed either, but she’s off-limits for him. Mason can’t stay away from her for long and when they come together, sparks fly. I love how this second generation started off and I can’t wait for more books!!
Adley is finished with college staying in Chicago. She hates it and is ready to come home. She is staying with her parents right now until she gets her life back together. Her mom tells her about her new job at The Social Club. Mason is the manager at the club. He has been steering clear of Adley and doing a horrible job when she starts her first day. He can not keep his eyes off. Fourteen years ago she had her first kiss at the clubhouse. Fourteen years later hopefully she’ll have her last first.
I'm A little disappointed!! There's no action in it hardly at all but in 2 tiny spots. I liked it alot but I thought it would b similar 2 how her parents got 2gether and the others. It was 2 sweet, that's not necessarily how the fallen lords r like when most of the women have sum kind of issue involved from their pasts. But this was a little 2 simple.
OMG, I freaking loved this book!!! I loved Mason & Adley (after Mason pulled his head out), Especially Adley.
I haven't read much of the Fallen Lords series so I haven't met many of the OG's but I am loving all of it now. Definitely can't wait for Fallen Star. But I'm thinking I will have to go back and read some of the OG series before we get there.
Well, Winter Travers nailed this one out of the park too!!! The shenanigans of the 2nd Gen might just outdo the originals!!! I love how we still get the OGs & chatter about my fave Iron Fiends MC! Of course, I true Winter Travers fashion were left looking for more!
Mason and Adley fight their feelings but true love always wins. Love this next generation. These kids know what lasting love looks like from their parents. Can’t wait to see how Winter Traverse develops each of their stories.
Holy cow an another amazing book in one of my all time favorite series and authors. His author could write cereal boxes and I would re read them all the time. I simply adore all the chemistry, drama and steam iof this book. Can’t wait for the next one.
Love Mason and Adley! This second generation is starting off just as great as the first generation. I love Adley and her determination. 14 yrs is a long time for this chemistry to stay so hot! I couldn’t put it down and I definitely can’t wait for the next book.
Thank you Winter Travers, for bringing us the second generation of Fallen Lords. I loved the first generation, the second does not disappoint. This is an absolute must read in my opinion. Thank you for the laughs, tears and ahhh moments. Happy Reading 📚
love this series love the 2nd generation love this mc loved Adley and Masons heartstopping broken beautiful forbidden love story Gripping all the feels Gimme Star and Cole
What I love most about 2nd generation books is reuniting with my favorite older generation. This 2nd generation does not disappoint! Cliff hanger alert!
I loved Adley she is so,thing else..l love that she moved to Chicago at 18 and made it 14 years on her own. She learned so much. I liked Mason at first but I did quickly fall for him. These two are hot together and move quick but honest is it after being apart 14 years. Super sweet story. Can’t wait for book 2.
Adley and Mason shared a kiss when she was 18. She felt town for collage and to get over the rejection. 14 years later she is back and he feelings for Mason hasn't changed. Mason knew they couldn't be together back then, but now he's done fighting it. Their chemistry is hot and they make a great couple. I loved going on this ride with them and after the ending I'm so ready for the next book.
