Jack is a rich, lazy, and unmotivated young boy who doesn’t have a single goal for life. He couldn’t be more content. Sure, his father’s almost never home working for some unknown company, but he barely minds. What he wants out of his life is to keep his family wealth, and not to stick out to anyone around him. He can’t stand school, even if it is one of the top in the state. Jack can’t be bothered to learn anything if it isn’t about business, though he most likely wouldn't pay attention to that either.

Unlike Jack, who bought his way into his prestigious school, Liam, who’s younger than him by almost two years, was let in because of his incredible intellect for his age. Matty got in through a lottery at the beginning of middle school, and the three were quick friends. During an ordinary hangout on an ordinary weekend in Jack’s lavish basement, they stumbled upon a squirt gun like device hidden away in a locked box underneath an arcade cabinet. Weirder yet, it had Jack’s father’s name inscribed on the side, as well as one they didn’t recognize. However, after multiple accidents, mishaps, and unfortunate events, the device had shrunk them all to the size of thumbtacks.

The now giant device lay broken beside them, and they quickly become hopeless. They decide to venture up the steps and through the house to Jack’s room in order to unravel the mystery of the device and hopefully find a way back to their original sizes. However, nobody said that would be easy. They’ll face getting stepped on, falling to their doom, warding back the teeth of Jack’s “innocent” cat, and worse.
